Of the 5 projects the article covers, I think Ethereum Blue will be the runaway leader for 2018 and could also make a huge impact on the overall crypto world once they release their new ethereum wallet and SDK for scanning smart contracts to discover flaws and malicious code.

Skycoin also looks like an interesting project which solves many of the problems regarding net neutrality and open internet for all.

Firstly, we all know that Litecoin is a much better option for fast, cheap, everyday transactions when compared to BTC.

Secondly, crypto is becoming too big to ignore and at some point one of the biggest companies on the planet will make the first move and offer some form of crypto integration into their products and services.

The ZeroHedge article suggests that Charlie Lee cashing out his LTC holdings would be a pre-requisite to Facebook partnering with them and this also makes perfect sense.

Also, as one Redditor points out, FB could save a huge amount on transaction fees by using LTC as opposed to USD.

For those who aren't yet aware, EtherDelta's DNS servers were hacked yesterday (20th December 2017). This means that hackers were able to put up a fake site on the real etherdelta.com domain so anyone who used the site in that time (even those who only visit the site from a bookmarked link) may have given their private keys to the hackers, who have then gone on to empty those wallets.

If you use MetaMask or the BLUE Chrome extension then your tokens are safe.

But if you use EtherDelta or MEW without MetaMask or the BLUE Chrome Extension by entering your private key directly then you need to take action as soon as possible.

Once you enter, you will find a pinned post which has step-by-step instructions on how to move your funds out of EtherDelta without logging in to the site. The devs and admins in that group have stated that they are ready to help every single person who has funds stuck in EtherDelta.

There's no charge for this and there are some genuinely helpful people in that group so you can ask questions if you are unsure about anything. I'm also happy to answer questions in this thread and will try my best to provide updates on the situation.

If you've been following the Ethereum Lite project then hopefully you've come to the same conclusion as everyone else that it was indeed a scam and the dev has no intention of coming back.

SO WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

Anyone can read through the old thread and see that there was a lot of community support for that project and many people were hoping that the dev would come back and revive the coin. As that hasn't happened, a few of us were starting to talk about ways to take over the coin and move it forward as a community. Philicibine was the first one to take action and create a new coin called Ethereum Lyte [ELYTE] which is intended to replace the ELITE project that has let down so many people.

WHAT IS ELYTE?

ELYTE is an ERC20 token which has been created to replace the dead ELITE coin and revive the community which supported it. There are 1 million ELYTE coins with 100,000 of them reserved for the dev fund and bounties. The aim is to make ELYTE the first Ethereum token that is used as a currency.
