21  Other / Meta / Should a new section be added for trust disputes? on: May 19, 2015, 03:53:07 AM
Should a new section be added for trust disputes, maybe under the trading section where the reputation board is?

It would keep everything in the public. Example: Member A receives feedback from Member B. Member B leaves feedback back to Member A and points to their trust dispute thread so members who are willing or unwilling to deal can find out what's going on a little better. Also, other members can conclude for themselves if the feedback was added fairly and adjust their trust list accordingly.

Looks like trust has become pretty popular as of late. Many members trusting others they shouldn't and others not dealing with users who have questionable feedback. Not singling any users or the default trust list out either, I see questionable (both positive and negative) under the untrusted feedback section a lot too.

or... just let things play out in the Meta section?

Wouldn't be very smart to run up your post count or post to get paid from your sig in this thread. No need to repeat others (slightly rewording what someone else just said) or post useless replies, remember Mods visit this section and will probably know what you're up to Wink
22  Other / Meta / meta section being used by trolls and sig spammers. on: April 30, 2015, 05:18:07 PM
Great way to start boosting post counts. Wait for a troll and keep feeding them into a never ending sig spam fest  Tongue

Guess this just makes things a little easier for badbear though. All in one place.

Not calling anyone out. Just something I noticed that will probably get worse when others catch on. More trolling = more posts = more sig campaign $$$.

25  Economy / Service Discussion / Circle.com - Account closed on: March 19, 2015, 11:53:08 PM
Anyone else have their account closed at circle? Mine was last month. Everything was fine until I had trouble logging in and had to contact support. 2 weeks later (no joke), I finally hear back from their support. Had to verify my identity which I did. Weekly instant limits dropped from $500 to $100. Couple weeks later I couldn't login again so I contacted support and here is their reply:

We have reviewed the information you have provided us and unfortunately we will not be able to offer you service. This was a careful decision that was made so that we can best comply with federal regulations and protect our customers from fraud.

Thanks for your understanding.

They stopped responding after that  Undecided I'll be honest, when they first went public I had two accounts to get around their limits (most were doing it at the time, couldn't find anything in their TOS against it). First week of November comes and I'm told I could only have one so I picked and they closed the other. I provided my real information through their identification process, used the same debit card and never charged back.

Me: I was sure. Someone is using your localbitcoin user for feedback https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996783.0 3:03 PM
+15307468844: Nice find! Stupid scammers. 3:05 PM

Real BTCMinerMan: https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/BTCMinerMan/

Sigh. I know this has been said before but newbies should not be able to create self moderated or lock threads in the marketplace. Makes it much easier for them to scam, especially when people still don't check feedback or simply ignore it.

I know mods won't delete it but they should at least move it to digital goods, where it belongs  Wink
27  Economy / Scam Accusations / Vengeance_X - Primedice / 999Dice Hash Cracker 2015 on: March 08, 2015, 08:23:13 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=982272.0

Link goes to youtube and then malware. Mod should unlock thread so someone can post a warning or delete it altogether.

and another, same guy different account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=982372.0

Edit: Both were deleted. I'm sure more will popup though so watch out from anyone posting links to youtube and a "hash cracker" for dice sites.

______

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=903530.0

Self Moderated thread so they keep deleted my posts.

Images in OP link to:
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fui.betonline.ag%2Fm%2Fimg%2Fcontent%2Fpromotions%2Fbo_skillgames_10_promo.jpg&t=547&c=g94QKPOop6oKeQ

Now betonline.ag is a legit website, they are just linking to the image. The second website goldbarcasino.net is NOT a legit site and has been confirmed as scammers : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=338165

My post that gets deleted because of the self-moderated and now locked thread:

Careful guys. They deleted my post again after saying they have nothing to hide. Don't be fooled by these sites because they offer a FREE BET. They are just using a free trial on a new domain hoping to sucker a player into depositing.

I busted their scam before. This is why they use a self-moderated thread and delete my posts Wink

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=802422.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=338165

These guys even use images from betonline.ag, which is a legit website but has no connection to betpitbull and all the other scam sites they run  Grin

There are a few others but can't find them right now.

EDIT: Thread has been locked. I'm hoping a mod sees this and unlocks https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=903530.0 and removes the self moderation (if possible) so others do not get scammed. I doubt many gamblers will actually see this post.
