since altminer has gone offline, I've been looking for a reasonable alternative mining pool for VIVO, but I could not find any pools that has a significant amount of workers. "Largest" one is http://antminepool.com which a pool hash of about 120 MH/s which is quite lkow compared to over 4 GH/s net speed. Where do all these people mine?

Hi guys,

I noticed that Monero scales 100% with memory clock rate and 0% with core clock rate. With a GTX 1060, +100 Mem brings about +11 H/s. But it does not matter whether you clock rate is 1507 or 2000, doesn't change anything. So it's possible to fix the GPU clock @0.8V and 1534 Mhz and the mem to +700 to get about 530 H/s at only 40W. Quite good.

However, I was wondering whether it might make sense to mine something else in parallel that is more core intense to get most out of the card. Is thery any coin that might be worth mining that does mainly depend on core clock performance and uses less memory? Or are all these coins already so ASIC heavy that GPU mining does not make a sense?

wenn man sich so die Berechnungen für ETH, ZEC etc. anschaut, dann wäre es anscheinend möglich, mit einer einzelnen RX470 per GPU-Mining im Monat um die 100 USD an Profit zu erwirtschaften. Dann kommt man natürlich schnell auf die Idee, sich ein "Rig" mit 3 oder 4 von den Teilen hinzustellen und ins GPU-Mining einzusteigen, wären immerhin knapp 400 Euro im Monat und nach 3 Monaten ist die Hardware schon bezahlt. Und selbst wenns nur 300 wären, würde es sich immer noch lohnen.

Aber ist es wirklich so einfach? Falls ja, welcher Coin bietet sich denn derzeit an? BTC per GPU zu minen ist ja schon lange kein Thema mehr. ETH geht wohl ganz gut, aber nur noch solange, bis auf PoS umgestellt wird. ZEC? Monero (da ist der Profit derzeit noch nicht so hoch) oder was ganz anderes?
