1  Other / MultiBit / Losing transaction descriptions on: December 03, 2013, 11:27:32 PM
The descriptions I add to transactions keep on getting lost.

It only preserves the most recent description. I am running latest version 5.15.
2  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Group buy powered PCI-E risers? on: April 23, 2013, 04:31:46 AM

100 cables minimum, but really low cost.

Anyone want to chip-in for this? I would probably spend ages on ebay and bitcoin forums trying to flog off the other 180 cables.  Cry

I would be fine with someone reputable taking over this group buy and doing an escrow.

All I am after is 4 cables for less than $120.  Embarrassed

Cabling x4    -    16x to 16x Powered Riser Cable

Only thing I have left to do is find the Powered Riser cables... which seems to be quite challenging.

EDIT: This is still conceptual but I am about to go get the parts to make this.
Expected stats:
Hash rate between 2400 kHz and 2600 kHz
Power consumption about 20.544 kWh @ $5.5 to run each day

Outstanding questions:
Where did you guys get your powered risers from?
Do I link the GFX cards in XFire, or can I leave them standalone? (Naturally running headless on a flavour of linux)
