2  Other / Meta / Some suggestions to decrease spams made by bounty hunters on: September 07, 2019, 06:41:56 PM
Hi, I have some suggestions to decrease spams made by bounty hunters.

1. Ask bounty hunters to delete their reports after they get their stakes. Consider a deadline. (for example one week)
2. Go to your profile and fill your bitcoin address with an Ethereum address. ( It's better if moderators add Ethereum address or bounty addresses to users profiles) If the address is added to the profile there is no need to authentication posts. Managers can go to users profiles and fill the spreadsheet with that address.
3. It is about bitcoin paid signature campaigns: Fill a google form instead of making application posts. Managers can check applications in google sheets and then delete every one that does not deserve to participate in the campaign
3  Other / Meta / Prediction of sport games on: September 02, 2019, 11:20:25 PM
I haven't ever posted in gambling section, but I just checked "gambling discussion". I saw that's full of discussions about sport games.
I think general discussions about gambling and prediction of sport games should be separated into different boards.
Many of posts are not even related to gambling. They are some discussions about football matches and players that are not related to prediction and gambling. Such posts should be removed or should be discussed in "Off-topic".
4  Other / Meta / Bounty reports on: September 02, 2019, 10:21:58 PM
There are many accounts in the forum that only make bounty reports. They have been created only for this purpose and nothing else is posted by them. If you check a bounty thread, you see there lots of bounty reports especially by newbies. In my idea Bounty managers should be forced to use a google form or something else for posting reports.
I am sure there are better methods for receiving reports.
What is your idea?
Do you have any idea about an alternative method for posting reports? A new method might be suggested and moderators might make a rule regarding bounty reports.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Do you really think U.S. government worries about drugs? on: August 24, 2019, 08:48:51 AM
United States government has always been against using bitcoin. What is the reason?
They say bitcoin is used for illegal transactions. What do they mean by illegal transaction? Do you think they mean buying and selling drugs?
I don't think they worry about this. We all know drugs are easily bought using fiat.
United States want to control every transaction. United States imposes sanctions against every country they want. Bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous and people and other governments can use bitcoin without any permission by United States. That's why they are against bitcoin.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Removal of signature before end of the campaign shouldn't cause disqualification on: August 02, 2019, 09:42:20 PM
There is a same rule in all of signature campaigns
"You must keep the signature till end of the campaign"

In my opinion it's really unfair.
Assume that a campaign includes 20 weeks. One person participate from week 1 until week 10 and makes effort for advertising the ICO. But he/she decided to participate in another campaign. In this case, bounty managers remove all the stakes that have been earned before. Don't you think it's unfair? In my opinion, he/she should give the reward for those weeks that had worn the signature.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why ICOs impose a minimum amount on investors? on: December 12, 2018, 09:13:03 PM
I am not talking about the private sales and pre-sales. I am talking about the main sales.
Don't you think ICOs should allow people to invest any amount of money they want? It will cause the tokens to be distributed among more people.
Assume that 1000 people are participating in an ICO and each of them is investing only 1 dollar. Don't you think they are more helpful than a person who is investing 1000 dollar?
Better to consider a maximum amount instead of a minimum and do not let the whales manipulate the price.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICOs accepting Fiat on: September 13, 2018, 07:39:44 PM
We all know fiat can be controlled by the goverments. On the other hand there are many scam ICOs. So, is it true that investing in ICOs that accept fiat is more secure? At least they are not scam.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: April 30, 2018, 02:07:58 PM
Many of ICOs allocate some of the tokens to participants in bounty campaigns. Don't you think it is better to give bounty participnats reward in ETH?
1-2% of the money raised is not so much and bounty participants deserve that. Also, it can cause more investors to attract. Because they are no longer worry about the price fall after bounties are paid.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How Tether price is fixed? on: April 30, 2018, 08:58:56 AM
Tether price is always 1 dollar. How the price is fixed?
Tether is a cryptocurrency with a limited supply and it is different from fiat. Assume that all the coins are kept in the wallets and no one sell them. How can the price be fixed? Why the price is not determined by supply and demand?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICOs and telegram subscribers on: April 28, 2018, 09:35:39 PM
Telegram has become of the main sources for ICOs announcement and news. The team behind ICOs usually try to show that a big community is supporting them. They try to have many subscribers in their Telegram groups and channels.

I have seen several ICOs that have 80-100k subscibers. I think many of these ICOs are scam and the members of their channels and groups are fake.
So, don't pay attentions to Telegram subscibers and other social medias subscribers.
Please give your opinions and tell how can find out if the subscribers are real.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Anonymity of cryptocurrencies owners on: April 25, 2018, 11:54:12 AM
I have always supported bitcoin and its anonymity. Today, we heard about the users who got hacked after they logged in to myetherwallet. This wasn't the first time some users got hacked and there is no doubt it will happen again. It can happen to all of us. There is no difference you are holding bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum. All of us wish it was possible to punish that hacker. But all the holders are anonymous. So, anonymity is not always good. What is your opinion about cryptocurrencies anonymity considering this issue?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why bitcoin cash has been the only successful fork? on: April 23, 2018, 04:13:00 PM
Till now there have been several bitcoin forks. Bitcoin cash has been the only successful bitcoin fork. Why all the other have been unsuccessful?
Bitcoin God, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, Super bitcoin and many others have been failed to reach a high market cap.
What is the difference between Bitcoin Cash ond other forks?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Wallet for NEO on: November 19, 2017, 10:23:47 PM
Which wallet do you recommend for NEO?

I want a wallet which I can control the private key and there is no need to download large files. I want a wallet like Electrum for Bitcoin.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO on an exchange on: September 08, 2017, 11:18:30 PM
Hi

Today, I saw an ICO on livecoin. Is being an ICO on an exchange a sign that is trustworthy? I don't think exchanges such as Livecoin allow scammers sell their coins.

If the answer is yes, why not move all of ICOs to well-known exchanges such as Bittrex?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICOs ban on: September 05, 2017, 10:19:03 AM
Hi

In the past days there have been a lot of news about the ban on ICOs in Russia, United States and China.

How can governments do this? How can prosecute anyone invest in ICOs?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Pre-ICO bonuses on: August 27, 2017, 07:47:22 PM
Hi

In most of ICOs, investors can get some bonuses, if they invest sooner. In my opinion these bonuses not only don't cause the ICO to be successful, but also cause the ICO to fail. In some ICOs there is up to 100% bonus.

If I see that there are some people have gotten 100% bonus in pre-ICO, I don't invest in that ICO, Because they will dump their coins after crowdsale and cause the price to fall.
Do you agree with me? What are your opinions?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Cyber attackers asking for $300 in bitcoin on: June 28, 2017, 03:56:05 PM
A cyber attack that is spreading accross the world

https://www.axios.com/ransomware-attack-is-an-escalation-of-cyber-hacks-2449233920.html

Attackers ask victims to pay 300 dollar in bitcoin after their hard drive is encrypted.

In your opinion can it cause governments to make the usage of bitcoin illegal as they can't prosecute peoples using bitcoin for illegal purposes?
