2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How to set up your own pool on: September 30, 2017, 01:18:13 PM

Did anybody of you guys already built something for your own rigs and is willing to share some intel?

Thanks in advance and have a good one Smiley
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ETH Mining with NVIDIA - cuda error - cannot allocate big buffer for dag on: September 15, 2017, 01:11:38 AM
Hey everybody  Smiley

I wanted to mine some Ether with my Rig today, but I got this strange error :/
"cuda error - cannot allocate big buffer for dag. check readme.txt for possible solutions claymore"

Well I read the readme.txt, but the suggestions in there didn't lead me to a possible solution.
Therefore I am asking for your help Smiley

I am currently mining with:
8x 3GB KFA2 GeForce GTX 1060 OC Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail)
8x ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 GF GTX 1060 - 3 GB GDDR5 AMP Edition

Can the DAG already be too big for 3GB cards? I had in mind that this would be the case somewhat around mid 2018 :/

Thank you all very much for your helpful answers in advance!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / You maybe should reconsider taking a look at DeepOnion on: September 13, 2017, 10:15:49 PM
Just saying for all the "scam"-yellers. The project is lead in a very, very transparent way.

I'll quote something here:
"We believe in ONION holders should have a say for the future of the project. So we will launch portal where you can verify your wallet and vote for projects.
community will be able to vote for forks such as stopping PoW, increasing blocksize (currently 1.5 MB) implementing other features, hiring a new public hero and so on!"

(source: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/roadmap-target-vote-central.3/)

Which scam would let the people vote on anything?

But furthermore, the project is standing up for their vision - anonymous payment. They did't simply airdrop and cash out, but developed the new feature called "Deepsend".
Please take a moment of your time and read this quote:
"The DeepSend will use a multi-signature method to hide the transaction trace. It is one of the true trustless systems that was first developed in Supercoin (you can read an extremely detailed technical explanation of this technology here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1351548.0). What is important here is that we are adopting a tried and tested technology that is trusted by existing users. We will leverage this service and develop an enhanced version of it providing further anonymity, speed and trust. Thus with DeepSend, our network and tx will be both secured and efficient. Specific details on DeepOnion's implementation will be discussed at a later stage (we are currently testing and do not want to comment until it's ready and tested)."

(source: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deepsend-upcoming-feature.5/)

Still believe it is a scam?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / How to write a Exchange Bot on: September 08, 2017, 01:35:57 PM
Hello,

I am currently trying to build an own Kraken/Poloniex/Bittrex trading bot for my personal usage - maybe open source it, if I can get it running.
My problem is, that the APIs of those exchanges aren't really providing any informations about the candles - at least I didn't find any.

Does someone here know about an exchange where the API provides you with informations about single candles of a coin?

Thank you guys very much in advance.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining Musicoin on: September 08, 2017, 10:16:23 AM
Hey everybody.

Is someone currently mining Musicians and can recommend a good pool?
I used to mine them on mc.minecrypto.pro, but the reward there is pretty low nowadays.

Thank you guys very much in advance!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / RX570 new amd mining driver only affecting one card on: August 31, 2017, 02:36:42 PM
Hello everybody,

today I installed the new AMD Mining Driver on my RX570 Rig. This is a picture of the output with the old driver:

After I got rid of the driver with DDU and installed the new Beta Version of MSI Afterburner and Mining drivers, only the GPU in the main slot on the mainboard pumped up its hash power. All the other GPUs stayed more or less the same. Here is a picture:

Does someone have an explanation for this behavior? Did I miss something?

Thank you very much in a advance for your help!
