1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitupper Explorer | Block explorer with unique features on: March 14, 2019, 01:06:09 PM
BITUPPER DEVELOPMENT UPDATE March 2019!

Greetings Community!

Bitupper Portal is growing as more users join us to benefit from the clear and user-friendly interface of Bitupper Explorer while we continue to add more functionality and more services in the ecosystem.

This update summarizes our recent team efforts in creating the cutting edge portal that drives the adoption of cryptocurrency to a whole new level. Being a new player in crypto sphere since our last publication with the development update in late 2018 number of visitors to Bitupper has tripled, meaning that we are on the right track and our users prove it by using our services more often.

This is what we managed to achieve in Bitupper since our last publication:
1. Bought, installed and moved to our own physical servers
2. Search/filter the transactions by time period and amounts on a selected address
3. Slovakian language support added
4. Address balance after transaction (similar to bank statement)
5. Several enhancements in the interface
6. New partnerships

Search/filter the transactions by time period and amounts on a selected address
Now you can select a range of dates to show the transactions made on the address within the selected period. When you browse an address in any blockchain (Bitcoin Block Explorer or Litecoin Block Explorer by Bitupper) press the Search/Filter button and select the desired dates. Soon we will add the option to filter based on the amounts of transactions.

Address balance after transaction (similar to bank statement)
This is a truly unique feature of Bitupper Explorer: you can view the balance of the address after the selected transaction. No other Block Explorers provide this feature.
Thanks to Bitupper, you can now look at the address balance after each transaction, same as in the bank statement. In the list of transactions at the address - you can immediately see what the balance was on the address after the transaction.
For example, on the address page — when you point on any transaction, press Show more for more details, which will show a pop-up with the balance after the transaction. As an example, just go to this address and see how it works for yourself https://bitupper.com/en/explorer/bitcoin/addresses/1JuVgVfe5R4uKGSHwHKzQmPMsYoaNfqYm1

2  Economy / Services / Bitupper Ads affiliate partnership | Earn additional revenue on your traffic on: November 06, 2018, 01:35:20 PM
Bitupper Ads affiliate partnership announcement

Become Bitupper Partner and start earning additional revenue on your traffic.

Bitupper is inviting partners:
- crypto exchanges,
- wallets,
- bitcoin faucets,
- analytical websites,
- all others services using data from block explorers

Bitupper Explorer is launched for BTC and LTC (more coins are coming soon)
BTC - https://bitupper.com/en/explorer/bitcoin
LTC - https://bitupper.com/en/explorer/litecoin

2 options to start earning with Bitupper:

1. Become Bitupper partner: earn 10% affiliate ad revenue on the traffic from your resource. This option is suitable for those who already uses any block explorer in their services.

How it works: Start using Bitupper Explorer in your services by linking the users txs to Bitupper.
The starting cost of CPM on Bitupper Ad network for advertisers is 5$.
Bitupper Partner gets 10% that is 0.5$ for 1000 impressions on the traffic sent to Bitupper.

Let's say you use blockchain info, for instance. And when a user withdraws BTC on your exchange a link with their tx is created that leads to blockchain info. That is how blockchain info generates traffic, and runs ads on that traffic. Bitupper, on the other hand, shares the ad revenue with partners. It is a win-win solution for the partners since now you don’t earn any revenue on this traffic now anyway.

So when you switch to Bitupper Explorer you will get additional ad revenue from the traffic you produce. Bitupper Partner gets a dashboard and a partner account where all the traffic can be monitored with revenue calculation in real time.

EXCLUSIVE OFFER FOR EARLY PARTNERS:
For the first 10 Bitupper partners:
- 30% ad revenue for the first 6 months,
- 20% ad revenue for the next 6 months,
- and then it goes to 10%.

For the next 20 Bitupper partners:
- 20% ad revenue for the first 6 months,
- 15% ad revenue for the nex 6 months,
- 10%.

For the next 50 Bitupper partners:
- 15% ad revenue for the first 6 months,
- 10%

Note: the first month of the partnership will be set as a test period where we track your performance as a partner. All the traffic in the first month will be included and the revenue will be available in the second month.

2. Become Bitupper agent: Find and connect partners for Bitupper to receive 2% of the ad revenue generated from the traffic your partners produce.

How it works: The starting cost of cpm on Bitupper Ad network for advertisers is 5$. Bitupper Agent gets around 0.1$ for 1000 impressions from the partners traffic connected untill the partners generate traffic and it earns revenue.

EXCLUSIVE OFFER FOR 5 FIRST AGENTS:
- 5% for on the ad traffic from attracted partners

3  Bitcoin / Project Development / The best Block Explorer with SegWit support from Bitupper | Partnership [ANN] on: October 27, 2018, 08:47:16 PM
Greetings, Bitcoin Community.

Bitupper has launched new and functional blockchain explorer
Try Bitupper Explorer for yourself at
https://bitupper.com/en/explorer/bitcoin

Bitupper Explorer is live and you are welcome to use it and enjoy its simplicity, speed and functionality.

Bitupper Explorer 10 advantages:
1. Full SegWit support (bech32 addresses)
2. Multi-language support - English, Russian, Spanish (+3 languages in November)
3. Multi-currency support (BTC and LTC - ready, DOGE - in 2 months)
4. Fast response - around 2x faster than blockchain info (more improvements under way)
5. Clean and user-friendly design
6. Advanced features such as filters, reports, alerts
7. Advanced search with various criterias
8. Asynchronous structure providing no downtime
9. Best database engineering with most detailed blockchain data
10. Developed from scratch (allows wide options for expansion of functionality)

Bitupper Explorer is aimed at providing the most crucial data for the users without overloading the interface with unnecessary data. We constantly improve our services using customer development getting feedback from users asking what they would like to see in our services.

Bitupper Explorer is aimed to be used by wide audience of users of different levels and not just computer science geeks.

SegWit full support
Bitupper Explorer fully supports SegWit addresses, or in other words - bech32 addresses. We were somewhat reluctant to promote it widely and we thought that it wouldn’t be a big deal, but it actually is. Bitupper had the support of SegWit starting from the day it was introduced.

Since the introduction of SegWit in 2017 for BTC not many block explorers actually made the update to support SegWit. But now, when SegWit addresses are being used more and more, the need for an explorer with support of bech32 addresses has grown too.

We are proud to announce that Bitupper is one of the few explorers giving users SegWit support making Bitupper one of the most advanced and up to date explorers on the market.

Multi-language support
Apart from multi-currency support Bitupper Explorer is also multi-lingual. So far you can switch between English, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian. Many more languages are to be added really soon.

Your feedback is welcome!

5  Bitcoin / Project Development / [IN-DEVLOPMENT] How about a site to guess the next difficulty?(for fun) on: July 12, 2011, 07:14:08 PM
I'm trying to learn PHP by myself with help from my brother who is still learning too and I wanted to know if people would be interested in a site that lets you guess the next (or future?) difficulty for bitcoin generation.

What i was thinking is

  • A profile page to view your previous guesses
  • A page to view who got the closest(the difficulty goes right to the decimal, so that be interesting)
  • Guessing closes ~1 week before it changes
  • Guess at for any point in time, still closes 1 week before(guess waaaaay early and still was closest of all? you're a prediction god)
  • No BTC at stake, if you bet on the side, whatever, do that
  • Winner gets: Pride
  • a statistic page, has like page views, guesses, usercount, maybe browser stats(all this maybe)

What I'm looking to figure out on the server-side
  • A crude way of loging in and setting a cookie
  • sorting
  • file writing and reading, sorting, etc, etc.
  • user/password managing, figuring out how to use a salt and such and hashing them(I know nothing of security, so I will make that clear with giant text "USE A STUPID PASSWORD!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING"
  • Maybe a way to change your password(still trying to think how i'll do user number
  • Database or SQL? ha, i'll figure that out some other time, for now TEXT FILE ALL THE THINGS
  • Other do-dads
  • no javascript, I don't know how to use JS...
  • EDIT: Maybe Who's line is it anyways? "point bets"  Cheesy "where the bets don't matter, that's right, the bets are as real as Joan River's face.

All you need is to make a username and pass. No address, no email, nothing. Patience too, this will be buggier than timon and pumbaa.

I may host it on the server godaddy gave me for free with the domain purchase(it has ads that i can't remove) OR on this tiny little server I have here at home(no ads).

How's that sound for any idea?
6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / 0.3.22 testnet solo mining broken from 0.3.21 on: June 13, 2011, 10:57:37 PM
I tried playing around on testnet to mine some bitcoin, so I set up solo mining on 0.3.22 but no miner would connect before or after it had received all the blocks AND it was using 100% of a CPU core.
I tried the previous version with the exact same setting and it worked fine. after it got e blocks the miner connected and started working away.

Here are the settings

opening batch script
Code:
bitcoin.exe -testnet -datadir="%cd%\.bitcoin" -conf="%cd%\.bitcoin\testnet\bitcoin.conf" -server

bitcoin.conf file
Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpctimeout=30
rpcallowip=*.*.*.*
server=1
rpcport=8332

phoenix opencl miner batch script (the batch script that's in \bitcoin-0.3.22_BROKEN_TESTS\)

Code:
cd phoenix-1.48
phoenix.exe -u http://user:password@localhost:8332 -k phatk DEVICE=0 FASTLOOP=false BFI_INT VECTORS AGGRESSION=11 WORKSIZE=128 -v

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin concept issue questions on: April 26, 2011, 09:46:30 PM
So bitcoins will never go passed 21mil coins...

but what happens when data is loss? the money in someones wallet is lost?(yeah, yeah, back ups)

if you take into account that wallets can be lost, that means the total bitcoins count will lower and never recover...

Does this mean bitcoins can slowly go out of existence? maybe to a point that it needs to be restarted with new algorithm?

it's like pebble money really, you can pick up alot at the beginning but it slows down in finding them. throw some pebbles into the ocean, the total pebble count lowers, over time pebbles can be lost by people. then they may have to move to shells.

am i understanding this right? or am i missing something
