1  Economy / Exchanges / TradeOgre on: March 11, 2018, 05:08:27 PM
Not seeing a thread here for so I though I'd start one.

Newish exchange, seems to focus on privacy coins, mostly cryptonight alts with tiny volumes.
Biggest markets are ETN-BTC and GRFT-BTC at this point. Seems to cater mostly to miners.

No email address. No way to contact support. whois shows whoisguard was used to hide registrants email address.

Anyone have any experience on this exchange?
2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Did this Whatsminer M3 have a previous life as Kodak KashMiner? on: February 15, 2018, 06:34:51 PM

Today a Whatsminer M3 that I ordered in 2017 arrived. I plugged it in and got it hashing, then noticed that on the side there was a gluey residue, as though a sticker had been there and then been peeled off. The same residue on both sides. Then I remembered seeing the picture of "Kodak KashMiners" which seemed to be Whatsminers M3 with a Kodak sticker on the side. I googled the pic and sure enough, the stickers are the right size and in the same place as my residue. (

Did I get sold a retired Kodak KashMiner? Or do all Whatsminers M3 come with this sticky residue? Any one else who received their Feb batch M3's notice anything similar?

I'm not particularly outraged, more curious and mildly amused.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / AMD Crimson ReLive [Suspicious link removed]pute on: August 16, 2017, 06:03:28 PM
edit: The forum thinks the AMD link is a suspicous link, you can google  the title of this thread to find the download (on the official AMD site)

This looks very encouraging... shame it's windows only Sad Hoping AMD will release a linux version soon.

In the meanwhile, can any windows users shed some light on this? Is this a drop in replacement driver for amdgpu-pro 17.30? What kind of hashrate increases (if any) are people seeing.
