What's up with people correlating FOMC meeting this feb 1 with the pump and dump of Bitcoin? I don't know what FOMC meeting do so I'm confused as to why some people see this as a go signal to buy or sell Bitcoin.
Can someone share a light on this?

Pancakeswap recently rolled out a new update that replaced their old staking design.
The old staking design was these 2: Option 1: Auto compounding cake staking - 60% APY Option 2: Manual Harvest cake staking - 48% APR or 60+% APY You can unstake them both anytime you want and you can do both.
For the new design, you also have two options: Flexible staking - which is Auto Compounding, unstake anytime - 10% APY (as of today) Fixed Staking - Pick how many weeks you are going to stake, Auto Compounding - 20+% APY up to 220+% APY depending on how many weeks you are going to stake. Max 52 weeks or 1 year. The lesser the weeks, the lesser the rewards. You can't unstake no matter what until the timer runs out.
You can only pick one of the two. If you pick fixed staking, you can't do flexible staking anymore until the timer runs out. If you pick flexible, you can't do fixed staking unless you unstake your flexible.
A lot of people don't like this, myself included. I don't like how I won't have any control of my coins for a period of time. I don't like how my rewards are compounded instead of harvested. I don't like how it is Waaaaaaay less APY than the old design. It's also more complicated because before, you only have to stake it and wait for it to compound and you can unstake it anytime you want with a juicy APR. Now, you are forced to make a strategy which date you'd like to get your reward with a significantly less reward than the old design.
Sold all my cakes and bought Biswap. Auto stake it for 56+% APY and just forget it. I kinda feel like pancake swap removed the only feature people wanted from them. I know it's for controlling inflation, however, I feel like they did it in a bad way.
What are your thoughts on this?

Looking for someone to lend me just 0.02 BNB (more or less $9). I'll send it back as soon as possible once I sold my assets in PVU (I need 0.02 gas fee there to do a transaction but it really won't consume my 0.02 BNB so I can send it back fast.) If you accept SLP, I'll gladly trade 120 SLP for 0.02 BNB for it. I'll pay back 0.022 BNB You send first. Thank you

I remember Polar91 as a participant , as a Filipino Translator, on one of the campaigns that i managed. This is so sad. I also remember there is a thread na pinipaint na shitposter ang mga Filipino and they are not well versed in English language to communicate and post constructively, hindi ako nag react doon kasi karamihan talaga is ganun, The hate is understandable because some campaigns were abused by mostly alt accounts by Filipino users, Whatever Reasons ang mayroon si Polar91, he can't use that as a license to abuse campaigns. Taking opportunities from other people because of greed is an evil thing to do.
Look for a Real Job. Bitcointalk will not always be here for the purpose of bringing money to your own pockets, Sana maintindihan ng kapwa Pinoy natin na there is a possibility that the possible Banning of Philippine Users is in sight. Please reflect and Look for a real Job. Bitcointalk is not a Job. Campaigns are not a job. It is not a JOB. Look for a REAL JOB.
Porket most of the time hobby lang natin ito na ginagawa kung kailan natin gusto or aka part-time job, hindi paba ito job? Mayroon tayong pang gastos sa mga gusto natin, may pang extra tayong kinikita for emergency or for anything, hindi paba ito job/part-time job? I've been part of a small project na nanggaling sa computer language forum.

|
|
As of now, nasa $8,500 nanaman tayo ulit.
Ano satingin nyo kabayan? Hindi maliit ang binaba natin simula nung first day this month at kung titignan mo, sumabay ang pagbaba ng Bitcoin sa stock market.

GOT EM! I wonder where are all the BSV shillers and Fanboys at now? I remembered someone saying that newbies should sell there ETH and Buy BSV at the highest peak price. Those who followed, I wonder how they feel right now? You might say anger maybe? regret? sadness? Just imagine how would you feel when you fell into this scam coin. That's why in order to avoid this from happening, we should educate newbies on how big of a scam BSV is. I invite you all into a thread about Identity theft, one of the worst thing that a person could do. Let's help educate newbies about what is really happening here in the cryptocurrency space. About the ongoing faketoshi and his absurd ongoing crime. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke. Let's educate everyone. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5215128.0

"CALIFORNIA-based investment mobile application Abra has launched a new feature allowing users in over 150 countries, including the Philippines, to invest in fractional shares of popular stocks and Exchange Traded Funds in the United States (US) using bitcoins. Abra started here and in the US three years ago. Initially, it’s an app for investing in cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Etherium, Ripple, etc.), and now in stocks listed in Nasdaq. “We just rolled up the stock investing feature a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time that an app like this has made it super easy for anyone in the Philippines to be able to invest in the US shares, and also invest in what we call ‘fractions of shares’ at the same time,” Abra CEO and Founder Bill Barhydt told reporters during their recent news briefing in Makati City. He cited that the micro-investment they offer works in such a way that if the share price of Apple, for instance, is $200 apiece, Abra users can actually purchase it for $5 each, the minimum amount of investment per stock."

I'm a newbie in this kind of thing and I was wondering how many Bounties are you guys doing at the same time? So far, I can only do 5 bounties. Are you guys doing like 10-20? Thank you PS: For those who don't understand what I've said. First I've been in a long hiatus which halted my activities, but now I'm actively participating again. Also, I've only been doing Signature campaign and airdrops this past few months and never engage in Bounty hunting before. This account might be Full member but it doesn't mean I'm adept at bounty hunting . I noticed that airdrops doesn't give that much profit anymore because most of them doesn't give or just a bunch of scams (if you get lucky, you might find something) which is why I started bounty hunting. Thank you for understanding PSS: Thank you to those who gave tips. I really appreciated your efforst which helped me a lot.

Note: THIS IS NOT MINE. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE THIS TO KNOW YOUR OPINIONS. THANK YOU Here is the link to the article: https://medium.com/cryptomuse/the-unmasking-of-bitcoin-creator-satoshi-nakamoto-the-fallout-86102a3c60ebThe Unmasking of Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto — The Fallout. By: Alexander Muse The NSA knows his real name… Last year I published a post explaining how the NSA had successfully identified Satoshi Nakamoto — the creator of the world’s most famous blockchain currency — Bitcoin. The story was viewed more than 400,000 times here on Medium and 62% of them actually read it! When I wrote the story I had no idea what sort of “fallout” that was in store for me. It all started when a friend on mine at the Department of Homeland Security told me that the NSA knew the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto — a fascinating story that I decided to share here on Medium. I’ll share the story first and then describe how my life changed as a result. The Original Story: As you surely know by now, the ‘creator’ of Bitcoin is the world’s most elusive billionaire. Very few people outside of the Department of Homeland Security know Satoshi’s real name. In fact, DHS will not publicly confirm that even THEY know the billionaire’s identity. Satoshi has taken great care to keep his identity secret employing the latest encryption and obfuscation methods in his communications. Despite these efforts (according to my source at the DHS) Satoshi Nakamoto gave investigators the only tool they needed to find him — his own words. Using stylometry one is able to compare texts to determine authorship of a particular work.Throughout the years Satoshi wrote thousands of posts and emails and most of which are publicly available. According to my source, the NSA was able to the use the ‘writer invariant’ method of stylometry to compare Satoshi’s ‘known’ writings with trillions of writing samples from people across the globe. By taking Satoshi’s texts and finding the 50 most common words, the NSA was able to break down his text into 5,000 word chunks and analyse each to find the frequency of those 50 words. This would result in a unique 50-number identifier for each chunk. The NSA then placed each of these numbers into a 50-dimensional space and flatten them into a plane using principal components analysis. The result is a ‘fingerprint’ for anything written by Satoshi that could easily be compared to any other writing. NSA The NSA then took bulk emails and texts collected from their mass surveillance efforts. First through PRISM (a court-approved front-door access to Google and Yahoo user accounts) and then through MUSCULAR (where the NSA copies the data flows across fiber optic cables that carry information among the data centers of Google, Yahoo, Amazon, and Facebook) the NSA was able to place trillions of writings from more than a billion people in the same plane as Satoshi’s writings to find his true identity. The effort took less than a month and resulted in positive match. This wasn’t the first time efforts had been made to unearth the identity of Satoshi using stylometry. Various reporters and members of the Bitcoin community have used various open source stylometry tools to attempt to uncover the true identity of Bitcoin’s creator. Their problem? They didn’t have access to trillions of emails from a billion people and they weren’t able to plug them into a supercomputer. The NSA’s proprietary software, bulk email collection ability, and computing power made it possible for them to conclusively identify Satoshi. But why? Why go to so much trouble to identify Satoshi? My source tells me that the Obama administration was concerned that Satoshi was an agent of Russia or China — that Bitcoin might be weaponized against us in the future.Knowing the source would help the administration understand their motives. As far as I can tell Satoshi hasn’t violated any laws and I have no idea if the NSA determined he was an agent of Russia or China or just a Japanese crypto hacker. Your words are your fingerprint The moral of the story? You can’thide on the internet anymore.Your sentence structure and word use is MORE unique than your own fingerprint. If an organization, like the NSA, wants to find you they will. NSA Sources: Many readers have asked that I provide third party citations to ‘prove’ the NSA identified Satoshi using stylometry. Unfortunately, I cannot as I haven’t read this anywhere else — hence the reason I wrote this post. I’m not trying to convince the reader of anything, instead my goal is to share the information I received and make the reader aware of the possibility that theNSA can easily determine the authorship of any email through the use of their various sources, methods, and resources. Identity: Many readers have asked who Satoshi is and I’ve made it clear that information wasn’t shared with me. Based on my conversation I got the impression (never confirmed) that he might have been more than one person. This made me think that perhaps the Obama administration was right that Bitcoin was created by a state actor. One person commented on this post that Satoshi was actually four people. Again, I have no idea. How to Protect Yourself: There is a project on Github you can join to help create a way to write without fingerprints:https://github.com/psal/anonymouth The Fallout Shortly after writing the story one of my friends who happens to work at the DHS began getting strange calls. Evidently readers began searching my LinkedIn profile assuming my “source” was connected to me on the networking site (fortunately they weren’t). Regrettably my friend continues to be harassed by people who assume she was my source — she was not. She has since “unconnected” from me on LinkedIn in an effort to stop the harassment. Two or three weeks later I was visited by a third-party investigator contracted by the Department of Homeland Security. He left a card on my front door indicating he had a very important matter to discuss with me. After talking to my lawyer he suggested that I speak with him on the phone and not in person. While I’m not legally prohibited from sharing our discussion, I have been advised that it might be smart not to share what we discussed. I haven’t heard anything else from DHS and recently filed a FOIA request so I can learn more about their investigation. Late last year I began getting strange texts from someone who claimed they were Satoshi Nakamoto. He was talking to the editor of Nicholas Thompson the Editor in Chief of Wired Magazine. As I later learned from Nicholas this guy was the same guy who convinced (at least for a time) the SEC and Tim Draper that he was the REAL Satoshi Nakamoto. According to The Verge: “When reached for comment for Friday’s article, Draper said simply, “he is a fake.” Draper later elaborated that he had cut ties with the supposed Satoshi when he came to believe the figure was not the real Satoshi Nakamoto. “He had me going for a bit, but his ‘proof’ didn’t check out,” Draper explained. “Satoshi” confirmed that they had parted ways, but says it was he who fired Draper from the project.” Ultimately, I too decided that I was too busy to determine whether or not Tim was right so I discontinued communication with “Satoshi”. Of course, not all of the “fallout” was negative. I’ve been approached by a number of crypto-entreprneuers with great business ideas — several of which might end up to be great investments. I also began exploring the launch of something I’m calling the “Blockfund” and conducting a tour to meet Bitcoin/Ethereum owners with wallets worth more than a million dollars. My first stop was Mexico City where I was hosted by a billionaire who has the largest blockchain portfolio in Latin America. More recently I’ve hosted events in Nashville and Atlanta — next week I’ll be in Washington DC. At the end of the day, I’ve had to stop taking phone calls or accepting voice mail messages. My email is almost unusable with more than 10,000 unread messages at last count. The only way to contact me now is via text — and it is likely I’m going to have to change my number fairly soon. I still don’t know who Satoshi Nakamoto really is — but I believe the NSA does.

Hello Bitcoiners. I want to know more PoS coin that are new and promising where I could invest to. I know there's alot of them around the internet but most of those good ones are expensive and need atleast a minimum of 1000 coin to stake. You could suggest anything that you think are promising. Atleast suggest a name and I could manually do a research about it, if you want, you can introduce it here for the community to check out. Thank you.

Recently, I invited a friend of mine to join this forum. After registering and confirming everything, his IP got immediately ban but he never use any VPN at all. So is there anything that he can do to get unban? I think he doesn't deserve to pay the fee so any help will be appreciated :-)
