Participants are encouraged to enhance or create developer documentation and build proof-of-concepts or code examples that showcase the Radiant network. Contributions should be submitted via GitHub pull requests in the relevant repositories.

Can I Join with an Existing Project?
Yes, you can join with a pre-existing project, but only the progress made during the hackathon will be considered for evaluation.

Submission Process
Once you’ve chosen your project, create a post in the Hackathon-Projects channel with your project name as the title. You’ll document your progress here and can ask for help or advice.
At the end of the hackathon, submit a link to your work via the official submission form (available in early October).

Communication Hub
For the duration of the hackathon, the main communication hub will be the Hackathon Forum on Discord. Teams will also have access to dedicated sub-channels for discussion, progress reporting, and collaboration. Ping us for a Hackathon dev role to stay involved!

Evaluation Criteria
Projects will be judged on the following:

- Implementation: Does the interaction with Radiant demonstrate quality software development?
- From Idea to Finish: Does the final output match the initial idea announced at the beginning?
- UX/Design: Is the user experience and design well thought out?
- Potential Impact:** How significant is the potential impact of the project on the Radiant ecosystem?
- Quality of Idea: How creative and unique is the project?

- Age & Legal Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years old or meet the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
- Adherence to Goals: Projects should align with the hackathon’s categories and Radiant’s ecosystem. If any questions about this ask in the chat.

[Helios(IOS)-Scam Project]

Transparency disclosure: I am a core team member for Helios Protocol, a genuine project whose name and content is being copied and misrepresented. I have intentionally not provided any direct links to the scam project to reduce any confusion and additional web traffic, this information is contained within the evidence below. I make this post as an individual defending my community, as an archive against these scammers and as a message of awareness for those who are new to crypto and the risks involved.



I recently became aware of a scam project known as Helios (IOS) aka Helios Network, Helios 0x. This scam project is blatantly copying a genuine project, Helios Protocol (HLS), both in name and plagiarized content. Helios(IOS) is having an ICO at this time, stealing money from people. Do not be fooled! Do not buy Helios(IOS)! Below is the evidence that Helios(IOS) is a scam and that this same entity is running multiple ICOs/project at the same time.

The gitlab for Helios(IOS) show a total of 9 commits developed privately and all posted on the same day by a brand new, unverified account. The ICO design and smart contracts for both Helios (IOS) and SecureXR are extremely similar to those produced by Tokenmint ICO generator, a common tool used by scam projects to instantly create an ERC-20 ICO.

So I've never used multi sig wallets or transactions before but have a few questions.
Is the signature tied to the receiving address?
Can multi Sig's be done with a majority of signers but not all?
Is the signature tied to the transaction input? Meaning you need a unique sig for each transaction

I'd like to conduct a survey to see what the preferred initial distribution method is among the community. This is mainly geared toward utility tokens that have an use, not STO that are shares of a business, but I included them anyway as they could evolve. With new projects popping up all the time, I figure this could be useful information in the future.
So say a new project is launching, what  method do you hope to see them use? What method would you use if it was your project launch? Vote for the methods of distribution  you think would be best for a new coin. You may pick up to 3, and comment them in order below, with reasoning.

I remember in late 2017, a few projects talking about enabling cold staking with PoS coins. Where you could store your balance on a paper wallets and generate a proof key to stake with, thus never exposing your private key to the internet. Did this come to fruition in any projects?

Is there a small device that would be simple to stake multiple coins at once? I have 6 or 7 right now I would like to stake and several more I plan to aquire.

So with rising energy costs as well as difficulties rising, I feel PoS coins are the way to go and definitely have a future. What are some of your favorite PoS coins? No masternodes either. While I get the concept, they are detrimental to the goals of decentralization.

What makes a coin dead? I would say when it has no active nodes, no trading volume and no development, in that order. Anyone have a different definition?
My second question, why does CMC still list these coins!?!?!?

Most of the top 100 coins are solid established projects and can be counted on to some degree to still be around and rise in value with the next bull run. I'm interested in the long shot coins, those not on the front page of CMC. I know it is impossible to say for certain, but it is fun to speculate. What coins do you think will still be alive in five years that are not in the Top 100 coins already? Why do you have faith in it?

Do anyone here know how much power one of the DragonMint T1 miners use in a full day? I know it will vary slightly based on setups, but I can't even find rough estimates. Some I'm looking for a new device to store my warm crypto wallets. Something between a hardware wallet and a laptop. I want this device to not remotely connect to any other or the internet(air gapped). I want to use various UXwallet clients to store crypto short term and make transactions via one way USB drive transfers. I wish to do this to step up my security. While my long hodls are in paper wallets, some of my day trading funds and short hodls are stored in wallet on regular computer. I would like to dedicate a device to strictly crypto. It does not have to large or fancy, just air gapped and capable of running the wallets and transactions when needed. Can anyone recommend such a device?

How do you claim losses on crypto and stock trading during tax filing in the USA? I recall someone saying you could claim up to like $3k in losses and recoup some of it. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
