1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / !STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE WITH FAKE MINERS! WARNING FOR NEW MINERS! on: August 26, 2018, 11:35:36 PM
I guess someone should start this finally... since few weeks ago "those Russians" started flooding all the alternate cryptocurrencies subforum with endless topics for some "godlike" miners that earn the shit out of BTC ETH or whatever it comes. They create topics claiming incredible speeds etc , dont show any actual picutres, close information or something like this for their miners.Basically they create new accounts on github / bitcoin forum , use OLD senior or even Hero member accounts (which looking at their old info have been inactive for long time or post only on russian subforums some posts) , GUYS DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM !!! they will drain your wallets. They even ban every comment that has to be related of accusing them scam :
. Everyone can make a little bit of investigation before using some of these miners , I am a bit too lazy to show you what I wrote but trust me you will make greater harm then finding any "miracle" miner from these guys . Also would like to raise this issue to any moderators etc , that they should't leave any of these topics running arround or at least check / close them upon report , I've reported a lot of them and none of theem seemed closed so far (i could be mistaken but I really reported a lot of them and cannot track which of them are closed right now).
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Guys dont want to say anything , but metroid might be right :) on: April 24, 2018, 01:01:03 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-devs-publish-upgrade-proposal-to-move-network-away-from-mining-related-issues

topic says it enough , we might see ice age for all AMD cards till the end of the year. Basically a big drop on all profits across all coins.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Nvidia Inspector -LockVoltagepoint/constant voltage (MSI afterburner) on: April 22, 2018, 12:02:45 PM
Hey there guys I have pretty straight forward question to the ones that are using Nvidia inspector . How do you determine (if you use -lockVoltagepoint argument) at what constant voltage to run the card. I've found that locking certain voltage , overdrives power limit since if you lock voltage at 950 mv and card is even at 110 % Power limit , it will never push to there , since the max voltage the core can use is 950 mv. That being said do you know how to determine what voltage corresponds to what power limit ? Like 65 % power limit = 880 mv voltage for example ? (<-- i dont know if this is right) . I know perfectly fine that different cards like 1060 / 1070 / 1080 ti have absolutely different voltages and since that 65 power limit at 880 mv can be hole different for other cards !
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What is going on with : https://pool-eu.smartcash.cc on: December 11, 2017, 01:02:46 PM
It's the official pool for smartcash , since 30 minutes there no more blocks , difficulty is 0 , and  pool hashrate shows 2.2 TH but NET hashrate is 0 . I searched their forum but nothing stated there . Any one have information ?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Keccak on ccminer - SmartCash on: December 06, 2017, 08:41:01 PM
Hey guys , anyone mining this coin https://pool-eu.smartcash.cc/index.php  on this pool ?
I tried it using ccminer 2.2.3 , i am getting arround 18 000 mh\s hashrate , but pool shows only arround 10 000 mh/s for 2 hours. Also a thing I noticed is that my miner often shows that there are new blocks - work from pool , but it doesnt produce any shares about it. Im running with the following command : -a keccak -o stratum+tcp://pool-eu.smartcash.cc:3333 -u N0pr3s3n7.Worker -p x c=CREA,stats --cpu-priority 3 -i 25 --submit-stale   (tried also without --submit-stale , but it doesnt matter , its also the same , tried also auto intensity - also didnt matter . Tried also to deleat cpu-priority since I read that sometimes if CPU is busy , no shares are produced but cannot really get this , and how to optimse it , please anyone can help me ? Thanks in advance )
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Bitcoin gold mining, sols vs earnings. on: November 21, 2017, 11:38:09 PM
Hey guys any one out there can give good estimations on how much earnings do you get with your Hashrate ? Please state current Hashrate / nethash(difficulty) and earnings . Thanks but all sites like BTCG calculators and whattomine etc never give any right numbers.     I had earnings of about 0.14 BTCG per 12 hours with 10 000 sols when nethash was arround 65 MH/s . I guess that right now with 95 mh/s they should be way lower ?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BTG mining starting after 25 days ? on: November 12, 2017, 10:12:37 PM
According to  http://btgpool.pro/index.php ,
Attention! Pool is currently waiting for BTG developers pre-mine ending and will be up shortly!

Blockchain Height current value: 495689 / 499407 (3718 blocks left)

Once pre-mining will end - YOUR RIGS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RE-CONNECTED TO MAINNET!

3718 blocks left
1 block = 10 minutes.  (right ? )

37 180 minutes
619,6 hours
25.8 days

Have fun ^^.

Ok after writing this eventually , they have their own difficulty and are mining it faster still 3600 blocks left . Then  probably they will make the time for 1 block go up to 10 mins ?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Add more cooling fans for RIG (how to ?) on: September 15, 2017, 09:43:01 PM
Hello , I've been searching over internet but in vain , since I cannot find a way to add for example 6 or more 12x12mm  fans to my rig. That being said not really I am not satisfied with the temps of my cards , but since rigs are getting bigger number I want to reorder them and build better wooden frames for them. I've already got the design I want to and it's super cheap to build , prolly less than 15 $ , and it's almost the same as 4u server rack . Just takes sometime to actually build it.  But since cards will be a lot closer than before (prolly 10 cm away from each other ) I want to add 1x fan between 2 cards , which makes arround 4-5-6x fans per rig.

1. How to add 6 or more fans to my motherboard ? where to get power from ? All i've found over the internet seems to be some fan controllers which are meant to be for a PC case , not for rigs
2. What fans to search for ? How big ? And how much CFM should they be ? ( I got GTX 1060/1070/1080 /1080ti ) that being said they do not pull A LOT OF power , but they take some)

I will appreciate every opinion ! Thanks very much , also links to proposed products would be appreciated Smiley
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [SOLVED]HELP Asus Prime H270-plus M.2 to PCIE 7th gpu not detected on: July 10, 2017, 03:31:27 PM
Hello , I'm having a problem that is simply my windows 10 x64 cannot detect my 7th gpu using an M.2 to PCIE adapter installed on either of 1st ot 2nd M.2 ports.

My system:
windows 10 x64 UEFI mode
intel G3930
8 gb ram ddr 4
SSD 120 gb
1200 W corsair AX

I've tried so far :

1. Currently without disabling integrated intel gpu , my windows shows 7 cards correctly - intel HD 510 , 4x GTX 1070 , 1x GTX 1080 , 1x GTX 1080 ti.  I tried disabling from bios intel card , but only 6 cards show up now.
2. Tried enabling M2 slots to work as PCIE in bios
3. Switched numerous times between both M2 slots to ensure I dont miss anything.
4. All speeds are set to GEN1 in bios considering PCIE
5. Switched few cards to ensure a 100% working card is trying to be put into the M2 to PCIE 2 adapter. Even switched off 1 extra card so that they are 5 and tried again with the M2 slot but in vain.

6. Only thing left is maybe getting another M2 to PCIE card if this is corrupted.

I will give small donation worth of ETH (0.05) if someone helps me to solve the problem and gives a reasonable advaice , and yes it's possible to run 8 gpu on this motherboard since I saw a youtube video of a guy using the same motherboard + win 10 + 2x M.2 keys Just like mine and showed device manager with 8 cards.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Too much stale shares Claymore etherum mining / GTX 1070 / ethermine.org on: July 07, 2017, 09:42:08 PM
Hello I\m recently getting too much stale shares (arround 3-4 %)which results in me having LOWER avarage effective hash rate (my system has arround 325 mh/s and I got arround 300 mh/s avarage effective ) and I dont know how to troubleshoot this and find which cards creates them / whole system ? , and how to minimize them. Im running 10x MSI 1070 and 1x EVGA 1070 , all of them are running at  65 % TDP (Tried higher arround 70 % tdp but still got same amount of stale shares) , + 20 core , + 600 memory (tried also 570 / 550 / now they are running at 540 )  - 75 % fan , they all sit at under 60 degrees or max 65-66 in peak day hours when outside temp is 35 + . Is it normal to have so much stale shares ? Just to mention I got few rejected shares ( dont know if they count towards stale ) because I saw that claymore somehow lost connection to the pool , but overall shares rejected are arround 5 for 3000 shares , but every hou rIm getting more than 2 % stale shares. Any ideas guys ? Thanks in advance
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Avarage effective Hash rate on pool ( ETHERUM ) on: July 06, 2017, 10:56:33 PM
Hello , basically Im kind of new to mining and want to ask you guys about the difference between
I am mining on eu.ethermine.org pool
reported hash rate by system (currently arround 330 mh/s )
avarage effective hash rate (based on shares last 24 hours - around 300 mh/s ).

Basically Im always getting arround 25-30 mh/s on avarage effective hash rate difference between real reported hash rate (my miners are hashing) . On the picture you see that it matches but it's because I recently switched one of the cards to mine other coin  , but after 24 hours I expect now to drop arround  300 -305 mh/s . I am getting on avarage arround 1-2 % stale shares , is this normal ?? Is this where the difference comes ? Also should I change the pool and be on other if the avarage effective hash rate matches better then Real reported hash rate ? Just feel like 1 of my cards is doing nothing because of this. Any opinions , share knowledge and statistics would be awesome , thanks in advance !
