Cardano 这轮拉升，配合上升的成交量，算是碗型拉升 （看下图）

又，刚在 twitter 看到消息听说有资金想在OTC 市场买 200000 - 500000 个比特币（注意数量是个，不是价值）。发这条信息的是一个可靠的人，但当然消息来源难以证实

我本来有心理准备这次熊市底部会在 3千刀左右

但现在有迹象预兆，熊市可能要被一些想要进场的庞大资金提早中断了，逆熊为牛，或至少价格在此喘定跌势

当然，目前大趋势还是熊市，要逆转也非容易

所以个人觉得现在走势可能会是一轮牛熊角力，很难说哪一方可以短期内大获全胜了

Hello all, I've been watching prices closely.
Obviously BTC seems to have stabilised around $6-$7K
I would like to share a few potential extremely bullish patterns in development in some of the alts.

The pattern I think we might be seeing here is a cup and handle pattern - which is extremely bullish when price shoots up from handle.



However the pattern is not fully developed yet, so it might not work. If we have a very strong rebounce from here then it will not be a cup and handle. Instead we will need price to slowly increase by about 10% every month from now then I am very sure we will have a cup and handle moon rise by August.




Cardano ADA
This is one with the strongest possibility of having a cup and handle brew. Graph also works in log scale - which is pretty crazy.
The price seems to have stabilised around 2000+ satoshis. All we need from here is a slow price increase with volume increase in the coming months.
I suggest we could start buying a little bit now because if it's a cup and handle, we are right now at the very bottom of the cup!
Expect at least 10000 satoshis if it's a cup n handle.


Ripple
Same.
I'm personally not a big fan of Ripple. Well but the chart says what it says! Expect another pump higher than last peak if it's a cup and handle from here.


EOS
This actually doesn't look like a cup and handle. However I just like to point out how EOS broke the recent downtrend channel -  giving me confidence the alts market might soon be turning into bullish
EOS might see its own small correction again in the coming month due to the shrinking volume but after that it could moon



Last but not least - our all time favourite

We need price to slowly increase from here with increasing volume. We do not want to see a V shaped rebounce [last rebounce circled in orange, we do not want this ] (i.e. if price reaches $10K in 2 weeks it will be very bad news.) We want to see something like end of April $7.5K, May $8K, Jun $10K with increasing volume. Then we would have a mooning pattern which might bring btc to at least $30K in Q4

One day after my original post on 12th Apr
The Alts I have chosen have shown the largest percentage gain among top 10.

As I said, we do not want to see a hurried recovery from here.
To see a cup and handle pattern completion, we need a slow and accelerating price recovery from here to Jun / Jul.
Then moon.

Guys, btc price flatlined for the last 20 hours. I have never seen something like this before.
Look at this.
Is this some sort of manipulation by futures traders?

First graph shows the flat line --- graph time frame 24 hours.
Second graph time frame 1 month shows how bizarre this flat line looks and how it stands out from historical price action

I know 90% of us here feel very sad watching BTC plummetting from its 20K high to below 7K.

Not to mention alts like ETH and LTC which have lost nearly 70% of its value from December high.
Some other legit alts lost more than 80% already

Some of us try to stay positive and claim we are HODLing for the very long term.
Some of us try to be pragmatic and talk about buying more when BTC reaches $3K or below.

But I know most of us still can't help feeling waves of melancholic emotional emptiess washing through us every time we check coin market cap and see all coins in red dipping by -10%, -15%, -20%

I feel that we need a place to let out our negative energies and feelings. because after all, emotional drainage is the last thing you want in trading.

So let's complain about the market. Share how sad / desperate / unhappy you feel about the current market situation. Make it emotional!


Let me start first --- every time I check the market I feel so negative and unsure. Logically I tell myself I'm happy to see BTC going to below $3K because I could buy more cheap coins. But every time when I see the bearishness of the market I just feel pretty hopeless and not sure when my position could go back to my buying price. My avearge buy was around $11K but I had 40% in alts that have already lost 70%.

I also question myself on why I haven't sold some of my coins when BTC reached $20K

I start to wonder if BTC would take 2 / 3 years to recover or would it take 15 years (like dot com bubble) for BTC to reach $20K again?

I just feel quite hopeless!

Contrarian Investing is an investment strategy that is characterized by purchasing and selling in contrast to the prevailing sentiment of the time
Contrarian investing works very well in all markets throughout history.
Last time when btc hit $20K and turned back, permabear never thought it could reach $20K [most were bearish when it hit $7K / $10K], permabull never thought it would stop at $20K [most were expecting $50K / $100K or even straigh to $1M]

Of all the comments I have heard regarding today's bitcoin situation, I have concluded these are the two prevailing views on the street:

1. Bitcoin is bouncing back into bull market from here after forming the $6K double bottom
2. Bitcoin is going down to $5K or $3K or $1K from here, no break

If we believe in contrarian investing, then these 2 are the only scenarios that will NOT happen.

Hence we are looking at options like

a. consolidating around $7K-$8K for a long time then go down AGAIN / go up slowly [yes I know. Hurts my brain thinking about consolidating here then go DOWN MORE]
b. bouncing back to $10K - $11.5K area consolidating there then go back down to lower than $6K - a huge bulltrap set up
c. going to zero
d. to $1M in a few years time

personally I think option a / b is looking most likely - as they are least talked / thought about [aren't we all surprised by how many more people are talking about c or d instead of a and b!] - according to the principle of contrarian investing

Guys, I am telling you - this is just the beginning before BTC falls even further to some more bad news.

It has already been pointed out North Korea is using bitcoin to generate USD.

As a national security measure, it is in US's interest to declare bitcoin illegal and fight against its price to make sure countries like North Korea will not exploit international loophole like bitcoin.

This is just the beginning, bitcoin has a lot more to fall after this.
