3  Economy / Services / {Scrypt, Scrypt-N, Scrypt-Jane} Mining Contract [Weekly 7,3.3,1.4 Mhash] on: March 13, 2014, 07:04:17 AM
Have a bunch of r9 290's and some 280x's mining it up have overhead I need to pay and the probability is low right now want to see if anyone is interested in the mining contracts. The rigs are up almost 100% of the time and will pay for the losses in hash rate if a downtime does happen, this doesn't include changing pools etc only when the rigs are at fault or I'm at fault. Pm me or post here let me know if you are intrested in this contract.

Rigs:

7 x R9 290's 6.26 Mhash
2 x R9 280x 1.47 Mhash

Totals:

Scrypt           = 7 Mhash
Scrypt-N        = 3.3 Mhash
Scrypt-Jane    = 1.4 Mhash

Prices:

7 Mhash (1 Week) = BTC0.42

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Vertcoin 7 r9 290's Issues? on: February 15, 2014, 05:10:57 PM

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining help config [1Mil TIPS BOUNTY] (1 LTC WORTH) on: January 27, 2014, 05:48:10 PM
Will send 1 million fedoracoins to whoever gets this issue solved.

So here's the issue, ATM I am using multiminer and want to switch to just bfgminer (Which is what multiminer uses). Well when I switched I can't get my 280x's past 530 khash, now I know you've all heard this before "My config will be wrong" well its not I copied the settings exactly and I have no freaking clue why its giving 530 khash, I even used the same bins I used before... The main reason I am switching is so I can use auto-fan and set the clocks speeds and everything all automatically when I mine and stop.

I have no idea what is wrong in this config (Solo mining FYI), usually have the clock speeds higher to around 1025 but for testing to get to 650's before I mess with that. Have tried sgminer and bfgminer same exact results. What I am clueless is as to why multiminer gives me a normal 720 and then I copy the same exact settings over and only get 500...

Config files (IDK what I am missing here copied it exactly):

Multiminer Config: -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192

Config File:

Code:

11  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / [.1 btc bounty] I'm FUCKED and need help. on: January 01, 2014, 08:55:26 AM
So heres the deal, I sold 2 5970's on ebay and I need to ship them on Thursday and I got my 280x's today and well was messing around with different bios files and well, I ACCIDENTLY put 280x bios on the 2nd gpu of the 5970. Now atiflash in dos doesn't detect the 2nd gpu and well yeah now what?
12  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Power supply question. on: December 26, 2013, 06:31:18 AM
Is it possible to run 7 280x's on a 1500 watt psu? All that will be running in the system is a haswell Pentium dual core on idle with the 7 280x's, let me know your thoughts.
13  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Broken GPU 5970 Help on: December 07, 2013, 04:35:15 PM
So this card has been weird I have tested it by itself works fine in windows but whenever anything intensive happens to the gpu it crashes. Even a 1080p video crashes the computer or gives a blue screen, all of my other cards work fine, it is a sapphire 5970 btw. When I was mining on it the amd display drivers would crash a lot the first gpu if put more then 11 aggressions on would crash. As for now when its a primary card anything 3D or intensive will crash it. Should I consider putting it in the oven or does that have a really low chance of fixing he problem and breaking the card entirely.
14  Economy / Lending / 2 Btc Loan on: December 06, 2013, 01:52:56 PM
Right now I currently have 3 5970's and 2 5870's mining alt coins and I happen to have around a case I built for GPU mining for bitcoins several years ago. I want to fill it with 7 gpu's, 7950's. I currently have been making around 60$ a day with what I have currently. I get around 3000 khash at the moment. I will be giving personal information to whoever does take up this loan. phone number address name facebook etc... If there is a problem for whatever reason I have plenty of things I can sell to finish paying the loan if this doesn't work out and sell the cards if necessary. This would be over 6 months with a 10% interest rate.

I do have 340,000 Dogecoins in collateral.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Quick solo mining question? on: November 27, 2013, 11:28:15 PM
So if I have a worker trying to solve a block if lets say on average it takes 2 hours with whatever hash to solve it, if I stop the working 1 hour in and start it up again does it loose all its work from the prior hour or is it all random? so instead of taking 2 hours it takes 3 hours if it restarted?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Most optimal settings for 3 5970's? on: November 26, 2013, 12:03:25 AM

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Just got a 5970 off craigslist for 120$ on: November 25, 2013, 11:58:23 PM
I checked my local craigslist and saw that and instantly sent the guy an email and bought it from him the next day. I have high hopes that it wouldn't work at all but with all the bad luck I have had with hardware it worked for once  Grin

120$ for a gigabyte 5970 best day of my life.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Setting up private pool? on: November 24, 2013, 11:54:51 AM
So here is what I need. I have gpu's in several different locations I want to mine different scrypt forks like, feathcoin, fastcoin, etc... But I want them all connected to a server I host at home. So I can just change what fork they are all mining, rather then to have to RDP in to each computer and change it. Not sure how I would do this but I am thinking of having the qt's of all the forks I want running and just remotely connect to it, but I need someway to change whatever one they are mining. Would like some help thanks. It will be on windows btw using IIS if I need to be using a web interface.
