1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Some tx's going out, many stuck on 0 confirms for ~20hrs, Since Upgrading to 0.9 on: March 26, 2014, 12:42:38 PM
Since I've upgraded to 0.9, I'm seeing a lot of tx's stuck on 0 confirms, even when other tx's sent seem to have worked fine.  These were all sent at the same time, and I am seeing an alarming amount of these since the upgrade.

There seems to be no pattern I've noticed so far.  I send out to many users, some stretches I see 7-8 in a row on 0 confirms followed by 4 or 5 within seconds that seem fine, like above.

Happy mining.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: September 14, 2013, 02:22:57 AM
We are proud to finally announce www.hashco.ws   [BETA]

Pool features:

Auto-Switch ~ this will automatically switch to the most profitable coin from our list which has 17 coins at launch! (Always actively looking to add new coins)

Optional Auto-Trade  ~ users will have the option to automatically exchange mined coin’s into BTC.  Not happy with the auto-trade results?  No problem, you can choose to keep and trade your coins on a coin by coin basis. Perhaps try keeping certain coins to trade yourself, while auto-trading the rest, or keep them all and exchange them at your leisure.  We give you the flexibility to choose how your coins are handled!

Vardiff ~ pool adjusts your share difficulty based on your speed, we are glad to provide this to our miners!

PPLNS ~ like payouts that span however long the current round is. (ex. Round 1 you mine 20% of the shares, you will earn 20% of the payout regardless of block details.).  The round could last 5 minutes or 5 hours, its as long as the current coin remains the most profitable.  If a round doesn't result in a found block, all shares are rolled into the next round.  Work is never lost!  Every share submitted to the site results in a payout in some form.

Interface ~ Clean, Simple layout designed for ease of use. Round by round stats showing what coin was mined, how many blocks where solved, and what your estimated payout is.

Active Team ~ you can always find us on IRC: freenode.net  #hashcows or here on bitcointalk

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT:

The combination of the following (I believe) is unique:
- vardiff
- visible round by round stats and details of what coins are being mined
- optionally auto-trade coins; keep them all, auto-trade them all, or even more intriguing, keep some but auto-trade others!

Personal note:  I currently run a number of other active pools under the scryptmining.com domain.  These pools will continue to operate as they have been.  The launch of this service has no impact on the current pools (nor does it use or share any of the same systems or hardware), and everything will continue, business as usual.   Also, I've made a post or two in my time railing against this type of service, yet am now launching one. Should you wish to discuss this contradiction, feel free to drop me a pm or stop by irc, no need to pollute this thread Smiley

aTriz and I are proud to bring this pool/service to the community and will be actively looking for ways to improve things. If anyone finds any bugs or has suggestions, please feel free to post here or contact us privately.

Just an announcement that the http://scryptmining.com family of pools will be down for maintenance tonight.

Estimated start time: 8:00pm EST (0:00 UTC)
Estimated length: 30-90 minutes

All pools will be affected at some point during the maintenance. Some for shorter periods than others.  During the outage, both stratum and the website will be unavailable for periods of time.  Please always be sure to have backup pools set.  If you do, the maintenance should be mostly seamless for you as you cutover to your backup pool when we go down, and rejoin us when the pool is active again.

Thanks to all the current miners for your hashrate support.  We'll try and make this as short an interruption as possible.

ZetPool.com

The DDoS Protected Zetacoin Mining Pool

Just some of the reasons to choose ZetPool.com are...

GPU and ASIC Friendly Stratum:
Our blazing fast Stratum nodes send difficulty 1 shares. Perfect for GPU or lots of lower powered ASIC chips.

Multiple Mining Nodes:
Our mining nodes are based in Europe and the USA to ensure a fast, reliable mining experience with fewer stales.

DDoS Protected Mining:
The website is protected by CloudFlare and mining nodes can tolerate loss of inter-connection. No more lost shares!

Proportional Round Payout:
If 10,000 shares reach a block and you have mined 1,000 of those shares you will receive 10% of the block. Simple.

And we have a very unique look and feel.

Why not check out the site at http://www.zetpool.com
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN][Pool][DGC][Prop][VarDiff]digitalcoin.scryptmining.com/dgc.scryptmining.com on: June 22, 2013, 12:06:56 AM
Taken from the digitalcoin thread, don't want to pollute that thread any more than necessary to get the news out about the pool.

To anyone currently mining @ http://digitalcoin.scryptmining.com  please note we are in the process of moving servers.  To try and cause the least amount of disruption to mining, I've brought up a brand new pool @ http://dgc.scryptmining.com .   I've copied over all your user and worker info, as well as your payout addresses and threshold's.  The only thing you'd have to change to start mining the new pool is the stratum URL, which is now:

stratum+tcp://mine-dgc.scryptmining.com:3388

Note:  I did *NOT* transfer over your balances from the current/old pool.  It seemed slightly less disruptive to let people withdraw their funds as they'd like over the next couple days (and more importantly let them keep mining/earning coins), and just have to switch their miners, then having a hard cut-over from one pool to the other.   However, if you'd like your balance simply moved over to the new site, I can definitely do that, just send me a PM with your username.

Any funds not withdrawn at the old pool before it comes down in a couple days, will of course simply be automatically moved to your account at the new one.  Nothing will be lost! What this means is that within 48hrs, the mining port will become inaccessible (though the old website will remain up, but likely eventually start redirecting to the new url).

So in short, please come join us at the new pool @ http://dgc.scryptmining.com as soon as you can.  All it requires is the new stratum URL in your mining clients.  Smiley

Thanks for the hashrate support.

Any questions or problems just let me know!

Edit: I've sent out some pm's to miners regarding this as well (for those that I can find on here based on site usernames).
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN][Pool][PXC][Stratum][Prop][Vardiff] pxc.scryptmining.com on: June 20, 2013, 01:32:31 PM
Pool features:

* Stratum-only
* Proportional payouts per block (no PPLNS warmup!)
* Variable difficulty per worker (high hashrate? save some bandwidth. low hashrate? don't get squeezed by a high static pool-wide diff)

This is a new pool, help spread the hashrate for this coin around.  Rewards given for first blocks found!

note: scryptmining.com pools have recently moved to new upgraded servers, faster than ever.  Come check us out! Smiley
