181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Legality of selling sexual items online (Age verification with Bitcoins) on: November 02, 2011, 08:49:57 PM
Okay so google is not being nice to me. What does everyone think about cheaper in bitcoins selling passion party stuff and/or Adult DVD stuff?
The issue is that I can't find anything in the legal system(penal code) (using google) about selling 18+ stuff.. can someone point me in the correct direction?

Normally a credit card proves that you are 18+ but how should we go about this with bitcoins? (Lets keep it within USA legality terms, unless you specifically state that you are talking about out of USA legal issues)

187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Landing Websites | Everyone GO! on: October 24, 2011, 03:57:29 PM
I think we should all start a bitcoin landing website(s).
By that I mean I'm currently making a Bitcoin website I just purchased a domain and the whole point of the website is to attract searches for people whom are looking for a better alternative then creditcards or their current fiat money and educate them about Bitcoins and refer them to great Bitcoin websites.

Everyones landing page should be in the own words but maybe we could all agree on a essay template that we could just revise per webpage that would probably be easier

And lets get the word out about Bitcoin!

189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Cheaper In Bitcoins New Logo | what you guys think? on: October 23, 2011, 07:05:04 PM
So what is your opinion on the new logo?
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What should one do with all these pages? on: October 22, 2011, 10:10:58 PM
Okay so as you see below my new update will consist of soo many page links to click on that it actually takes up 3 whole screenshots on my 1600x1400 resolution.

I was thinking about  doing a shortened pagination approach such as  like this

1,2,3.... 500,501,502

But what if you want to quickly reach page 50? you would have to click page 3 and then wait for the load and then click page 6 and then wait for a page load, and so on....

My other option is to make it in a scrollable box(an i-frame or scrolling div for HTML lingo) which is perfectly doable but that is confusing for some and may not be understanable by there are a bunch of numbers in a box.

I could do the first approach and then have a input box where users can type in which page they would like to jump too...
what do you guys think?

196  Economy / Services / easy money | PHP testers needed | Should only need 20 mins of your time |1.5 BTC on: October 19, 2011, 03:16:22 PM
I'm looking for multiple knowledgeable bit coiners whom know PHP enough to use classes and activate functions within those classes and also know how to set up cronjobs on w/e operating system you are running. You should know how to import .sql mysql scripts those are only requirements for this system

Basically I want you to test my BitcoinRetail-Lite software and PM me or email me some screen shots of the software working on your computer.

What needs to be tested is the cronjobs and the invoicing.
The software is aimed to be designed to get running with out little documentation.
I'll let you figure it out how to use the software on your own and then you can let me know what parts was most confusing about it.

Currently the software you can and should work fine when doing the following
*Create an invoice and output a Bitcoin address each invoice created will require a total amount in BTC value to be associated with the invoice
*Easily integrate the cronjob functions in to current existing php cronjobs script(or use the example by itself/standalone)
The cronjobs should scan the Bitcoin client for the total overall amount of bit coins ever received at that address and then update that amount into the Mysql database

Requirements for job completion
*a screen shot of mysql table with the invoice created
*a screen shot of mysql table with the invoice updated (after the cronjobs have been executed)
*any code you used/added
*Any suggestions/improvements

Payout: 1.5BTC
Estimated Time to complete task: 20 minutes
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / GLBSE great job but... on: October 19, 2011, 12:34:12 AM
We need a more intuitive interface as well as a youtube videos with clearer audio as the current ones are almost in-comprehensible there is an a sine wave in the back ground that's telling me to go into meditation mode I can't sign contracts when my mind is programmed to meditate when I hear loud oscillating constant noises.....

How about a step by step tutorial with screen shots and pictures that would be a great start. This way I don't have to back track on the video to find out what I did wrong on step. Litterly took me 4 hours to get the thing signed. I don't know if i did it correct yet, we'll find out in a couple of minutes
