I would like to sell his account (which I was holding as collateral) to recover some of my loss. The user was trading in Skrill among others, so he can chargeback the users here any time which may lead to more -ve trust.

I am looking to raise around 0.05 BTC. Actioncrypto and Bitmixer are taking -ve trusted members, Luckybit may also too, so break even could be possible in less than a month.

Inspite of the best efforts of the lenders and trusted members, there has been a spate of scams. To prevent that use the trust rating wisely.

[1] When giving out a collateral free loan, give a neutral feedback mentioning the loan.
[2] When you receive a loan request, check the trust rating, click on untrusted feedback, and see if there are any ratings which may be of concern.

It should help to detect loanees who take out multiple loans. This seems to be the recent trend these days.
Warnings may not be given as negative feedback but as neutral, so it will not show up unless you go into their trust rating.

*Added on 23/10/2014: If you default on loan, the collateral will be liquidated and the income kept in full unless a request for an extension with an additional interest is accepted. Depending on the initial collateral provided, you may be asked to submit a fresh collateral over and above the existing one.

*Added on 31/10/2014: I see that there are quite a few new loanees here who are being asked to keep collateral in escrow. I can do that if anybody is interested.

*Added on 4/11/2014: The late fee is a flat 0.01 BTC a day unless it is negotiated.
