I bet on this game on live, Mavs + 19.5, surely won this after a 30-0 run in the 4th quarter. They made an unbelievable run and tied the game from 111 -87 to 111 - 117, leaving OKC scoreless for the past 6 minutes. Gives me a smirk and goosebumps because of my points plus, but what left me in disbelief is that an NBA team hasn't scored in 6 minutes.
What do you guys think about this one? quite sus for me

One recent estimate assume that there are 3-4 million of bitcoins are lost forever. Here are some people that lost there bitcoin fortune.
Stefan Thomas is a software developer held an estimated $220 million in a lost Bitcoin wallet he simply forgot the password in his IronKey account, and James Howells, lost his Bitcoin fortune of approximately 8 000 bitcoin when he accidentally threw away an old laptop. I know there are lots of people who also lost their bitcoin somewhere, whether it is small or a big value that we didn't heard in news or publicized.
If someone lose their bitcoins (whether it is small or big amount), does it have a significant impact to the bitcoin economy?

In year 2009, 1.1 million bitcoins are mined which is 5.24% of the 21 million bitcoin that can be mine in the system. Today, 13 years after the first set of mined bitcoin there are already 19.19 million bitcoins in existence or 91.38% of the total bitcoin. Which means that 1.8 million bitcoins (8.57%) are left to be mine, if you are wondering when will all bitcoins be mined, professionals says that it will take another 120 (more or less) years to mine the remaining millions because of bitcoin halving. Bitcoin halving happens about every 4 years, the Bitcoin block reward that usually get by the miners are cut in half.
so, what are your thoughts when all Bitcoins are mined?

Today, bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can be converted into other forms of money and deposited into user's accounts in an instant. Most crypto can be transacted anonymously, generally safe to use and difficult for malicious hackers to break.
Here are some impact that I observed, many governments restrict remittances made from other countries or vice versa making the charges too high, with the use of bitcoin and other crypto, it reduced remittances.
More consumers are using bitcoins. Some legitimate businesses and companies have started accepting crypto as a form of payment. Online shoppers, investors, even some banks are using bitcoin regularly.

Bitcoin was the first decentralized cryptocurrency, which first released as an open-source software in 2009 but didn't reach public attention. Now, crypto education becomes a priority for world-class education institutions such as University of the Cumberlands (United Kingdom), University of the West of England (United Kingdom), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Warwick (United Kingdom), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Westminster (United Kingdom), etc.
Learning cryptocurrency will attract you towards the digital world and internet technology. It will prepare you for the future, since digital world is here to stay, and technology is progressing and evolving rapidly.
Is it time for the whole world to embrace, adapt, add it in educational curriculum and teach cryptocurrency to the youth?

The mining of crypto-assets can consume a lot of electricity, which can result in greenhouse gas emissions, besides purchased grid electricity, crypto-asset mining operations can also cause local noise, electronic waste, air and other pollution from any direct usage of fossil-fired electricity, and additional air, water, and waste impacts associated with all grid electricity usage that can affect on nearby communities.
What are your thoughts?

Many people still think of cryptocurrency as gambling. While gambling relies on chance, cryptocurrencies rely on arithmetic and cryptography.
Given the parallels between cryptocurrency and gambling, this makes sense. Both are fast-paced, the value of crypto is unpredictable.
Cryptocurrency is chance-based, rooted in exceptional circumstances like influencer opinions, values might drastically change.
And both crypto and gambling (online gambling) are accessible all day and night.

Few months ago, I was a very active campaigner ( my previous posts/activities will tell ) but then this shitty campaign by 1xbit caused my -1 neg trust from JollyGood after I tried applying to their campaign which I don't have an idea that it was a scam campaign coz I see a lot of people are applying on which I take responsibility of. I tried to appeal to him and he didn't replied which I totally understand. Now it's almost impossible to join any campaign anymore. What frustrates me more is that I really want to provide an art services so I could help few people here in regards with art, and again with neg trust it's almost impossible at this moment. Now every time I see the thread of 1xbit reminds me of this, IDK why it is still here on the forum.

It's not so much a deal but I think this should be here. Bitcoin price calendar stamp in month of October.
2010: $0.06 2011: $5 2012: $12 2013: $127 2014: $383 2015: $238 2016: $614 2017: $4388 2018: $6579 2019: $8317 2020: $10,832
It's noticeable how in 2017 skyrocketed the price of bitcoin, that's when I entered the cryptospace and discovered this forum, I was able to ride the hype the pre pump in September 2017, that was a blast.
Seeing the prices of bitcoin through years makes me think of Moore's law, you can check it out in google though it was not really doubling the price every year. Is a new law possible for the price of bitcoin like Moore's law?

Who's anyone in here who does not want Tesla car? I mean anyone should dream of this futuristic car that Elon Musk designed. They just announced that Tesla's 3rd model will be the cheapest Tesla that you can buy in the market starting at $38,000 still expensive but this is worth all the cents that you paid for. Not just the parts, but it is also design wise, most beautiful Tesla car that they've created. What are we expecting from the Tesla's Stock? What will happen to electric cars competition? TESLA

Any thoughts about this?

Today Jeff Bezos is worth more than the market cap of the bitcoin at its price right now, he's more than $1.5M ahead. Jeff Bezos could really own every bitcoin with that huge amount of money, but I'm thinking how much transaction fee he is getting to pay for buying all of the bitcoins (If Ever) and I'm also wondering why at this time of pandemic he got his ATH company shares. With all these money he could just play around, he's above all us in terms of money. Any thoughts about this one?

Have you guys been asked the same offer? I'm wondering kung normal lang ba sya na inaalok just like fixing driver's license.
At mura ba sya sa halagang 300 pesos? I still don't have UMID pa kase or passport which is magagamit mo kahit saan, ang meron lang ako is police clearance and student ID.

Don't mind the title, it's just an effect of watching 'Ready Player One' in netflix But here's what I found interesting - 'leet' Upon reviewing my profile, I notice this 'leet' I'm thinking it was just a glitch, or some coding errors from the inside but then I remember when the last time I checked post count it was around 1335 or 1336 I wasn't sure until it rings a bell, coz 'leet' is exactly as what I thought of, it is 1337, it is my post count! I searched about it and I found out that it is a systematic way of spelling on the internet. Other is 'leet' means elite or let's speak (leet's 5p34K) -- google search Am I the one that encounter it first? Is this the first thread about this? Coz if that so, then I'll feel very special. Did you also saw 'leet' when you reached 1337 post count? pls tell me Also I'm wondering about the other 'leet' types of numbers designed for the forum

I was just about to reply something on different section, but I decided not to do it coz there is something in the reply box that caught my attention but I'm confuse though coz this is the first time I've seen this.
Have you guys notice the highlighted borders when you try to reply? It is thick in black color and I was wondering if it is just me who sees it.
But I think this was deliberately done to emphasize the area where we selected isn't it?
It's cool and helping though.
EDIT
All the type box is the same!

Been seeing a lot of post about the COVID-19 and how it affects different markets like stock, oil and cryptocurrency but I wonder if these things are just now or it happens every time there is a pandemic disease like this. I tried to search for some charts that might help to analyze if there are really a direct effect on the bitcoin with https://cointelegraph.com/bitcoin-price-indexI'm not going to include the 2009 H1N1 pandemic virus since the bitcoin was created on that same year. I'ma start in 2012, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-COV) DATED from Jan1 to June31 2012 (6months) Discovery of MERS-COV was in April, Seems like there isn't much effect on the price not until in June when it starts to increase ( about 20%) Ebola VirusAlthough it was first discovered in 1976, there is an outbreak happened last 2014. DATED FROM Jan1 to June31 2014 (6months) The price increased relatively. Price dump in Feb but recovers in March where the first case of Ebola was recorded. COVID-19 Discovered in late 2019 (Pandemic outbreak; Recent) The price seems great in mid-feb and reached $10K but then it starts declining when things are getting worse with COVID-19. The bitcoin seems unaffected by the first two pandemic at those time, while now the COVID-19 looks so impactful but why? The relative increasing of price might be the root why such pandemic disease happen so rattling the crypto space. But then again we cannot assure these things. I'll update this thread if necessary.

As cryptocurrecncy becomes in demand and investors are looking for it, it seems like Russia is giving it to them by tokenization. Russian Central Bank banned the use of cryptocurrency payments in October last year due to some reasonable risks after passing the digital rights bill on the same month last year for cryptocurrencies. Yesterday, Central Bank of RUssia announced that they already successfully tested a platform where investors can seamlessly tokenize their assets which will guide digital businesses on tokenizing assets. Seems like USA, China and Russia are having hard time making regulation as they started when bitcoin soared in 2017. Russian government knows what it would cost them if they set aside and do not prioritize this big thing in front of the economy. Tokenization offers an efficiency on buying and selling assets leading the financial world in better liquidity, faster and low-cost transaction, more transparent, and available to everyone making broader market. Who you guys think doing it better? USA, China Or Russia? Rerefence link https://cointelegraph.com/news/legal-framework-for-tokenization-submitted-to-russias-crypto-bill
