1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Kucoin stole some of my funds on: March 13, 2021, 06:48:36 PM
Hi all, I’m talking to a lawyer about suing Kucoin. They delisted a token I was holding on the exchange and emptied my wallet of these tokens without ever contacting me. I’ve argued with them now for months to no avail. I’m checking in to doing a class action lawsuit. If anyone else has had this issue let me know.
2  Economy / Exchanges / Bitstamp Bitcoin Cash release on: October 10, 2017, 03:00:32 PM
Anybody have any issues with Bitstamp Bitcoin cash ? They seem to be only giving me half the amount of cash than the actual coin I had on the exchange when it forked.
I screenshot my balance when around the time of the fork. Sent it in to bitstamp support 4 days ago and no response.

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Question about bitcoin transfers from wallets to different exchanges on: August 02, 2017, 07:29:35 PM
First let me say I spend hrs trying to figure out on my own before posting.
4 hrs ago I tried sending a small amount .004 btc from my wallet to a new exchange acct I set up at bitfinex as a test. After 2-1/2 hrs with no funds in my wallet I started to try and see what happened.
I read where sometimes if the amount is to small no miner wants to do the transaction so about 1-1/2hrs ago I tried to send .25 btc.
My wallet shows 2 confirmations on both transactions but bitfinex still shows unconfirmed.
How do I retrieve my btc if it never goes through?
Why would these transactions take so long?
Thanks,cementhead43
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Questions about exchanges and market rates on: August 01, 2017, 11:38:36 PM
Hi, newbie here. I opened an acct up at bitstamp. On their homepage it currently shows btc/usd as 2732.27 usd  the exchange says 2712. 76. Why the discrepancy?
Thanks,

5  Economy / Exchanges / Bitstamp exchange meltdown on: August 01, 2017, 02:56:47 AM
Hi, I can't withdraw funds to my wallet. Bitstamp 2 step verification failures even though I'm using correct codes.
Is my bitcoin still going to be there after the fork?
7 hrs and still no response from support.
I screen shot my balances .
Anyone else having problems?
I see nothing on these forums.

6  Economy / Exchanges / Bit stamp 2 step verification fiasco on: July 31, 2017, 10:01:59 PM
Crazy, setup bitstamp acct. Bought 1.0 bitcoin. Get coin deposit confirmation. Now trying to withdraw to my btc wallet and the 2 step verification won't accept my code.
Double check my key on Authenticator and everything seems in order. Try again on bitstamp and doesn't work still.
Now can't withdraw my funds. Not happy with bitstamp at all.
No way to contact except thru support email. Probably won't be able to transfer my bitcoin before the fork.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? No hard wallet on hand. No computer. Working off my mobile device.

Hello, I don't use a pc computer. I only use my iPad iPhone for everything. Are any of the wallet apps on the iOS platform safe and secure?
Specifically looking for 1 for tonight's fork that will split my bitcoin. I need to transfer from bitstamp.
Thanks for any replies.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Verify, verify, verify on: July 31, 2017, 04:16:30 PM
Hello bitcoin talk. New member here. I've been researching crypto for a few weeks now and reading many posts on here in the last few days. I decided to invest and buy 1 BTC today. I am purchasing on bitstamp thru sin trex using my CC. I planned on moving to BTC .com wallet that is supposed to support BCC on the fork tomorrow.
I have some comments to make. I verified thru bitstamp and it took a day or so. Then I have to verify again on sintrex to make a purchase. The verification process seems very time consuming and a little bit frustrating as a consumer. I am not a programmer but I am a constant user of electronic equipment and this process of verification is almost painful enough to deter people from buying and using crypto.
Somebody needs to streamline this process to make it more user friendly if it is to become the new way of paying for things IMO.
Anyways, looking forward to doing more research and trying some trading on the crypto market.
Have a nice day!
