1  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Old BFL 60GH/Singles What to do? on: March 24, 2015, 09:40:08 PM
Sitting on a few of these old bastards stripped down to nothing.
The 120 and 92mm fans while loud can be made useful.
What about the heatsinks? They look like they could be great for a low profile case however they have the mounting holes of a mobile socket P.
Be a shame to waste these nice heatsinks let alone the silicone and everything else that was put into them.
I'll say despite my hate for BFL like many others, they did make these to stand up to the stress of time and hard labor, though short.

So whats one to do with these pieces of history?

"Man Overboard"

Blood sky in the mornin'
Shoulda seen the warnin'

Captain to the Seaman
Man your battle stations
Poseidon's on a mission
'Bout to turn it up to eleven

Captain to the Seaman
Assume crash positions
Toss the extras over
About to take on water

Blood sky every mornin' (All hands on deck, all hands on deck)
Shoulda seen the warnin' (Coulda, shoulda)
Poseidon's on a mission (Brace yourself, brace yourself)
'Bout to turn it up to eleven

Mind the sails, mind the sails (Mind the sails, mind the sails)
All hands on, all hands on deck (All hands on deck)
Women and children first (Women and children first)
Bail sailor, Bail, Bail, Bail (Bail, bail, bail)
Brace yourself, brace yourself (Brace yourself, Brace yourself)
Brace yourself, brace yourself a twelve (Brace yourself a twelve)
All hands on, all hands on deck (All hands on deck)
All hands on, all hands on (All hands on, all hands on)

Blood sky every mornin' (All hands on, all hands on deck)
Shoulda seen the warnin' (Woulda, coulda, shoulda, shut up)
Poseidon's on a mission (Brace yourself, brace yourself)
'Bout to turn it up to eleven (Brace yourself, brace yourself)
Captain to the Seaman (Here come the gails, mind the sails, mind the sails)
Assume crash positions (All hands on, all hands on deck)
Toss the extras over (Women and children, women and children first)
About to take on water (Bail sailor, Bail, Bail, Bail)
Poseidon's on a mission (Brace yourself, brace yourself, brace yourself)
'Bout to turn it up to eleven (Brace yourself, brace yourself, brace yourself)

18  Other / Politics & Society / We're the bank! on: July 20, 2011, 01:53:13 PM  Cheesy

We're the Bank. We're not your friend. We want those records
And we want them sent this afternoon
Or your gross expenses will balloon
And you'll only have yourself to thank
Write "attention clerk", 'cause it's the way we work
And we're the bank

We're the bank, get a grip, get in line
And in triplicate we'll need for sure
Everything you've ever signed before
As to cost we haven't mentioned yet to you
You can bet on one thing,
You'll be at the closing when we do

Your tax returns are ours to keep, with what you earn
Until the final sleep, and even then
We've assured ourselves, at your expense,
Crossing t's and dotting all the i's
To be paid in full within a day or two
Of your demise

And we will call, a million times, for bills and forms
That you will never find, and we'll insist
That without these we cannot progress
When we have these documents in hand
We'll assess time lost and probably raise your cost
By several grand

We are the bank, with walls of stone, and heads of steel
And though in ads we're shown to smile and nod
This is PR if there ever was
So just forget that warm and friendly bit
Because I swear by god, it's a complete and utter
Crock of shit
