With BTC going up through 24,25 and presumably 26 How many of you have effectibely as of last night "retired"? I didn't make much but I recouped my initial investment + approx. 50%, I got out bit before 25, I'm keeping 1 whole coin on principle. I actually can't wait to get a few extra dollars and do this again with you all, I might do so tomorrow, or maybe I should wait until the price goes down. People that use SR will still buy coins regardless, because it's not with a bitcoin value that price is set on there, that much I know. But I'm also glad that online store for selling growing lights and grow lkghts accessories. Which also sells solar panels. Accepts BTC

Uh, hey,
I need some tech help, my HDD is about to fail on me because it's been making these screechy noises from time to time( my laptop is from 2007)
I fear I may lose everything in the HDD and the laptop itself so I tried moving my BTC to MtGox until I can download the blockchain on another pc or whatever I can find, byt what is stoping me from doing so is a .14 BTC transaction fee, on a 7 BTC transaction.
Is this ammount of a fee normal for this ammount?
The transaction fee I have on my Bitcoin program is 0.01

Avalon has shipped, or at the very least 2 people have received their asic shipments. Which has made somewhat of a believer out of me.
I am asking for a total BTC18, $374.00 worth of bitcoins so I may afford 2 of BFL Jalapeņos.
Why would I choose BFL over Avalon? Because I sincerely doubt anyone would lend $1600 for a batch 2 pre-order.
Upon request I will provide proof of identity, and a bank statement fully disclosing my available funds to remove all doubt an inability to afford paying you back.
I won't give you my SSN.
I would like to repay this loan over a 5 week period at (preferably) 4.99% interest, but in reality expect to pay as much as 8.99% $407.66, 4.28BTC per week for 5 weeks approximately.
CAVEAT I would like a humane loan for the WORTH of bitcoins in fiat. If in 3 weeks Bitcoins shoot to the moon in price I would never be able to pay back, tell me if the loan won't work because of this.
Don't P.M. me immediately message me on here first before I agree to anything.

Hello Off-Topic friends,
As of right now I'm looking for gnu/L distros that I may install one on my laptops and desktop. I'm looking for somethingalong the lines in size of about 700MB and that uses KDE, although the foot is acceptable. I wanted to use Open Suse but it's 4gigs big for the latest build.
Any open/free software enthusiast mind giving me a hint on what you're using at the moment?

>go to England >head to restaurant for food >watch is set to timezone of hometown >ask someone what time it is >"TOYME? WOTS THAT?" >notice he doesn't have a watch on >no one in England has a watch >Big Ben starts to chime >everyone stops what they're doing to count the bongs on their fingers >man swerves off road and crashes into grocery store and is still counting bongs after crashing >waitress drops my order on the floor while counting bongs on her fingers >man panting while running frantically down the street: "OI, EVERYWAN, IT'S 7 BONG" >everyone inside the restaurant and on the streets start clapping and cheering

I want to explore the forums a bit more and I want to know where people like to look and post so I can get a better feel for the entirety of these forums, not just off-topic and speculation subforums.

Would you go for an FPGA if still not enough asics meet the demand of people that want them?
Are you going for FPGAs because theyll be cheaper?
What can you get FPGAs?

I have also processed all credit card refund requests at this time. I can't guarantee that the funds were there to back these refunds - I have no way to know this, and Tom never confirmed having done the bank transfer. At this point, if you are thinking of sending me a refund request, I recommend you do a chargeback instead. I will continue to update the community with any new information I can provide. >At this point, if you are thinking of sending me a refund request, I recommend you do a chargeback instead.

I feel like with my last coin I should throw it at a company dedicated to Bitcoins, better on their hands than on my wallet file doing nothing

I am a tall skinny guy but I have delicious hips because I'm beautiful. So I have a 36 size waist. And when I wear pants they fall down if I don't have a belt.
People need to put on belts if they like to go commando and want to avoid a embarrasing situation.

Many months ago when I was new to Bitcoin, and I saw it reach $30 one night and my computer died and MtGox got hacked, I gave up on Bitcoins, or so I thought.
I have never "Invested" into anything before, besides trading cards, which is why it hurt me so much when I saw that Guy, 666-something burn up those cards in another thread.
(He must be rich because those cards could both fetch between $700-$1000 when sold together)
Anyway, tangent and on to the point. What is Bitcoins relative stability (It has been $13 for a while now) due to?
What do you think?

I have a few BTC to my name and am planning on trading my bit pennie for LTC or even FRC.
I was wondering if anyone was interested in selling me into the idea of adopting LTC as well. I can't mine, but I sure can get BTC and trade for the LTC.

If I leave my pc on and the client running, besides using up electricity, qui bono?
What benefit do I provide others, and, cans I see how many people are on the network also?>

Even with a Jalapeno from the folks at BFL I'd solo mine. (CAVEAT, I'm not a psonsor of BFL, was not paid to advertise, nor coerced by BFL_Josh, they're just the only ones with these kind of miners, afaik.)
