About the NetworkThe Jibrel Network is a platform for financial institutions and investors to tokenize real-world assets and bring them on-chain, allowing them to benefit from on-chain / off-chain arbitrage.
We currently have a closed alpha up and running on Ropsten that will be open sourced in the coming weeks.
Jibrel is bringing institutional grade liquidity to the blockchain in the form of CryDRs. Crypto Depository Receipts are smart contracts that represent ownership of a real-world asset held by Jibrel on behalf of institutional and individual investors. Investors can tokenize any real-world asset into a CryDR representing ownership of that asset. The CryDR can be transferred or sold to another individual or entity, who can redeem the token for the underlying asset. CryDRs have regulation embedded within them, which means they can only be purchased, transferred or sold by those with the legal authority to do so.
Jibrel will support 8 different CryDRs at launch, 6 fiat currencies and 2 money market instruments.
