21  Economy / Scam Accusations / OGnasty has been compromised. |ID!0T| on: July 22, 2017, 09:16:53 PM
I'm posting this now so you all know.

OGnasty ripped me off through escrow...and it was him because we used his normal bitcoin address. It's a lot of work typing and taking screenshots and such so be patient.

I'll update with proper details and proof here shortly.

I'm planning on taking this all the way so if you know OGnasty please talk to him and help him return my bitcoin and pm me the transaction ID(like he promised that asshole) so coinbase will return my funds.

If anyone knows how I can find OGnasty in person please let me know so I don't have to waste the time and money doing so on my own.

Also it's illegal to escrow in the United States without an escrow license so I'm going to take that route too.

wonder how much money the IRS would end up asking for...

and god knows what else.

Feel free to chime in and bring a pitchfork. Apparently he ripped a noob off for 3k as well.

I have a mental issue so bear with me...I'll write it out proper just give me time.

What happened::
OGnasty has not repaid the escrow funds on a failed escrow.
I provided irrefutable proof of my identity to OGnasty with information from previous trades we had made together so that he may refund me to my forum bitcoin address.
He refused because of "rules of escrow" and then told me he'd refund to the coinbase account...bunch of bullshit never happened now here we are.

I just wanted to help someone who was trying to sell a bunch of 1060's they accidentally bought.

Amount Scammed:
0.25076037BTC which was just under $680 at the time of sending.
this included the escrow fee of .01

heres negative trust on his account from someone else:

Payment Method:
coinbase/bitcoin

Proof of Payment:

PM/Chat Logs:

all other messages are me yelling at him to give me the TX ID and him calling me a liar.

Still waiting for repayment.

Additional Notes:
Either he has decided to turn scammer or the account has been sold to a less reputable individual. There is negative trust recently from someone else he apparently scammed.

Why do I get screwed over when trying to help someone?
22  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS/WTT] Homemade GPU rigs. Open air. [US] Accepting eth/ltc through chaos fork on: July 12, 2017, 01:49:12 PM
ESCROW ACCEPTED THROUGH ANYONE BUT OGNASTY because I'm out .25BTC for using him...on some technicality he made up on the spot.

I just want to build computers and I'm running out of room in the spaceship and the workshop.

So I'm placing a few rigs up for BTC or I guess trade for hardware or current/last gen asics. If you would like me to build something specific let me know and I may be able to accommodate you.

Please keep in mind these are "Plug and Play" systems...but after shipping some assembly would be required.

Windows and system drivers installed...Recent mining software of your choice and a photo of a goat for the background image are included with each rig.

These rigs are "living" which means they're mining, they get babysat and I may swap out parts or reconfigure them as time progresses.

The Hexa-1070 has grown up and needs a new home...preferably within the America's because it's afraid of boats.

Rig 1: The "Hexa-1070" - built 7/7/2017 - last modified 7/17/2017 - asking 2 BTC

Currently hashing ethereum @ 175mh.

This rugged open air build sports 6 of Zotac's "mini" GTX 1070's. They're the 2 fan GPU and 1 has a back-plate.

Based on Biostar's "Racing" motherboard series and Intel's Z2xx chipset you can rest assured that this current gen build was designed for mining and will support one or more additional GPU's. With mild modifications this could be a "sweet gaming pc" or something of that manner.

Parts list:

6x Zotac "Mini" GTX 1070.
Powered USB risers.
2x sticks of 4GB Team Elite DDR4
1 Biostar motherboard - with a G4400T CPU and HS/F installed.
1 Biostar 240gb SSD.
1 1000w Platinum PSU.

Rig 2: The "Pentastation" - built 6/10/2017 - last modified 7/21/2017

A glorious return to LGA775...built from "what I had laying around" and refurbished workstation parts, this rig will often be cannibalized for a better cause.

The ghetto open air build features 3 XFX 370's and 2 GTX 1080's stacked on an old dell workstation or whatever I'm too lazy to check.
Currently hashing XMR @1200 h/s, ETH @ 42MH and DCR @ 2800MH <-shows zec but it's xmr right now I swear.

Parts list:

3x 2GB XFX 370's
2x 8GB GTX 1080
5x Powered USB risers
LGA 775 motherboard with a Pentium E2160 CPU/HS/F installed.
6GB of DDR2 (2x1 and 2x2)
Corsair 120GB SSD
1000w EVGA GQ PSU
PCI network card

Will the crazyguy patch work on this you think? I wonder if they're going to release their whole lineup again with litecoin hardware.
24  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] S7/S9 120mm fan brackets or an S7 shell. on: April 24, 2017, 06:15:39 AM
I'm looking for a couple of the 120mm fan brackets that bitmain uses on their S7 and S9 models.

Normally I'd just get some from the supplier but the purchase link is no longer active on the bitmain website.

If you have an s7 shell laying around that I could purchase the brackets from I'd be eternally grateful.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / PinIdea Du-1 X-11 USB asic group buy? on: March 18, 2017, 02:12:41 AM

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / usb X-11 asic...PinIdea DU-1 group buy -closed, out of stock- on: March 15, 2017, 07:54:04 AM
I was thinking.

PinIdea has some du-1's available but they require you to purchase 5 minimum. This is pretty much the only x-11 asic you can get right now without removing an arm or a leg.

I've purchased from them before and was contemplating 5 more du-1's. I figured I'd let anyone piggyback on my order @ their BTC cost + shipping from my location.

They're charging 0.066528514BTC each shipped or whatever the equivalent dash price at the time. I'm thinking I could match that if you just want less than 5.

https://shop.pinidea.io/index.php/product/asic-x11-miner-du-1/

I can assist with the setup as I've already a few of these running.

Interested or have any thoughts or questions? Let me know, via pm or in here.

Funds may be transferred to: 1J58WZ948mo3QCzhpZKWuVgaYvZQ6tjiTF

Which is currently the only address which I accept BTC at.

Please list the transaction ID here and contact me beforehand so I don't mix anything up.

If there is a large amount of interest we can do multiple buys from pinidea in orders of 6-10 as soon or as late as necessary.

Thanks.
