ExoTown — Reptile breeding program and marketplace

What?

ExoTown is an animal breeding program specialized on reptile species selection headquartered in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
The ExoTown project was founded by three enthusiasts driven by idea of herpetoculture popularisation and development of qualitatively new standards in the commercial field.

Why?

We are tired of the condition of herpetoculture in our country.
Keepers (and their animals) are suffering from lack of education and veterinary assistance.
Many breeders are pursuing the profit at any cost, which results in keeping animals in less than humane conditions (improper feeding, absence of vet care, forced breeding, etc).
Increased demand on exotic pets leads to smuggling and purchasing of animals from poachers.
Scattered market can't help when it comes to choosing animals with specific genus, color pattern, or even gender.
We're going to fix this situation.

How?

Breeding: Starting with breeding the most commercially valuable species (comparatively easy-to-care-of and not so expensive, e.g.: corn snakes, king snakes, ball pythons, bearded dragons) and morphs, we plan to extend our reptile species diversity in order to cover almost all the range of demand locally (and internationally, in the best case).

Selling: ExoTown Market — global classified advertisements website devoted to reptiles with an in-built geolocation-based ad filter and integration with KnowYourSnake encyclopedia.

Educating: YouTube channel ("ExoTown TV" — a web series on YouTube dedicated to aspects of keeping, breeding and conservation of reptiles) and open source encyclopedia ("KnowYourSnake" — a knowledge base on snakes in particular and on reptiles in general).

Why ICO?

"Why do we need a new coin? Why do you need a blockchain for it?", — you may ask.
That's right. We don't. You don't.
The only case of using the blockchain is decentralized reptile auctions. (Sorry, forgot to mention that: online reptile auctions are popular here, but they often fail due to irresponsible and/or troll bids.)
So this is basically a crowdfunding. But in my opinion funding a good deed (I strongly believe that we're doing it for good, not for evil) should be rewarded. So...

What's the benefits?

Let's be honest. Any animal-related business carries significant risk of loss. Any crypto-related business... Well, you know.
Invest in animals multiplied by cryptocurrency — and feel yourself sitting on a powder keg.

However, the average reptile brings up to 100% profit per month during its lifespan.

We're going to share 25% of our profit among tokenholders by buying back tokens from exchanges and burning it.
According to the calculations, amount equal to the amount of funds raised during the ICO should be spent on buybacks within 42 months from the end of ICO. Possibly a little longer, I told you about the risks. Of course, buybacks will start once we start earnings (approximately in 15 months). HODL!

We have already acquired about 40 reptiles priced from $50 to $500 on our own. We consider it fair to share profit of them too.
With your support, we plan to increase the amount of reptiles up to 400—800 animals (est. avg. price: $300).

Also, our marketplace will allow buying animals with our tokens with a discount, creating a demand.
