Aside from bitcoin, which alts are most stable long term and still can rise fro today’s price? A coin that I can literally put into a wallet today and forget for 4-5 years?

Super bitcoin on Dec 17 Jan 2 bitcoin cash plus Jan 28, b2x 2nd attempt
What do you think all these forks will do to the altcoins market? Do you think people will stop taking these forks seriously? Will b2x succeed this time?
I think this is so bad for the reputation of the entire crypto market

Is Palm Beach Confidential the Oracle of Altcoins or just an overrated overhyped P&d group?
If you listened to the pbc webinar the other day, you’re probably getting spammed with emails to join pbc. Now they’re even offering a payment plan (which frankly makes it more realistic than paying $2500 outright).
Thoughts?

Just curious about the people on this forum. There seem to be a lot of newbies around, like myself. So tell me: how long have you been in the crypto market?

When you read opinions on tradingview, there seems to be a consensus that there will be one more big slide before bitcoin and altcoins start recovering from the September 14 dump and bitcoin can surpass $5k. As of right now, almost every coin on coinmarketcap is in the red. Is this the start of the correction we are all waiting for (before the next boom will happen)? Personally, i have set up some buy limits to get some coins cheap, just in case. If itslike the last one, deals won't last long.

How do you guys pick a signature bounty campaign? There are so many of them listed and with such different requirements, I'm lost. Now that I'm a jn member I'd like to participate but I don't know where to start!

It's currently $286 on coinmarketcap. I need to buy some ETH to participate in an ICO soon. Is now a good time to buy or do you think it will go down more in the next few days?

I put some $ into a coin a couple of months ago. And since then it's gone down a lot and stayed down. A deadline for a project update was recently met and advertised but the coin didn't even bump up. If I got out now I would lose about 20% of my initial investment.
How do you decide when it's time to dump a coin for a loss? I don't need the money but i see these other coins going up and i keep thinking about the opportunity cost of having my $ sitting in the shitcoin.

I think I need to pick a strategy to invest a bit every month. Right now, about 40% of my portfolio is btc and the rest is split between 5 different coins. I don't have a reason for this split. I'm still pretty new at this so My holdings are pretty small still. So I'm wondering what % do you split between btc and alts and why you picked that split?

The topic question says it all. Does nxt still have some life left in it?

Ok I have a really noob question. I'm seriously looking at investing in an ico. But I have some questions for the current team before I pull the trigger. I joined their slack thingie but I'm not sure what it's for. I've read through it and all the questions so far are super basic and repetitive
Can I ask "real" questions on slack or is it just a promo site where all the hard questions are deleted? Or on the bitcoin talk announcement forum? Or should I just email the guy?

Not sure this is the right place for my Q. If not, sorry!
I thought I saw a child forum on bitcointalk for games where you can earn coins (not gambling necessarily) but now I can't find it. I think I looked through all the topics.
Does the forum exist or was I dreaming?

Where do you find good charts for coins? I'm on bittrex and their charts suck. Trading view is ok but they only have the top coins and there are pop ups every so often asking me to subscribe . Ideally free and no subscription required.

It seems stuck in a rut now around $207-212. Will it ever break out again?
A month ago I thought this coin had potential but now???

Hi:
I'm fairly new and trying to learn about crypto currencies. I bought some btc a little while ago and want to start looking at alt coins. But I'm so lost. When I look at coin market cap there are 100s of coins listed. Is there a guide to all these or do I have to go through all the websites of each coin to figure out how they're different or what they do, their sector or an overview?
I have areas and technologies I'm keen to invest in but sifting through all these websites doesn't sound very productive.
