1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 07, 2023, 04:12:28 AM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling. Myself had experienced it, and personally I used to be happy and I used to be polite with my family members and kid whenever I am on profit. On the day of losing it changes exactly in the opposite way, even for simple things I get much anger. Particularly while giving food to kid patience is must. On winning days I let him take his own time and eat. On the losing days I used to shout at him. I'm addicted, and I want fellow gamblers to make a self analysis at regular interval and be on the safer side.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Being Lonely drives you towards Gambling....! on: January 31, 2023, 09:50:26 AM
Does anybody have this experience or this is happening with me. Most of my gambling losses have taken place when I feel lonely.
Today one such incident have taken place. I've kept my last few weeks signature earning aside to meet some medical needs. Today my mother got hospitalised and I'm her attender. She is supposed to take a minor surgery as her vision isn't clear. She's been taken to the Operation Theatre and I was left alone in the room. If anything required the nursing staff would call me. By thos time my mind didn't think about anything. All of the sudden why don't you gamble? and I started and made 0.009BTC close to 0.01BTC and the greed didn't left me. Finally lost all my month's earning kept aside.

Through this I would like to remind be careful when you are alone. If your mind wish to gamble, go for it. But don't consider it as a way to pass your time and keep on wagering. The outcome might hurt, because most of the time loneliness is felt when our mind is in a bad mood. Some enjoy being lonely, but the reality used to be different.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Queen Elizabeth and Cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2022, 01:04:12 AM
The longest-reigning British monarch Queen Elizabeth died at the age of 96 in Balmoral Castle. She was born in 1926. During her lifetime money is not at all an issue for her. Being the Queen of the Royal Family of the World could've impacted the market if she have made some statement relative to cryptocurrency. Once she received a blockchain journal and this made discussions of the Royal Family holding bitcoin.

After her death, the same is being used as an opportunity and meme coin creators have made 40+ tokens on the ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. Few of which are

  • Queen Grow

Apart from this NFTs too have striked the market. For now few tokens have gained $200000+ trading volume.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto Ready Nation - 2022 on: July 31, 2022, 01:07:23 AM
Worldwide crypto readiness is defined based on the number of blockchain startups in each country, the digital asset legislations and taxation rules, the number of ATMs, and the interest in the industry per capita.

Hongkong - 8.6 points out of 10
USA - 7.7 points out of 10
Switzerland - 7.5 points out of 10
Georgia
UAE
Romania
Croatia
Ireland
Czech Republic
Slovakia, Greece, Panama & Bulgaria shared 10th position.

Hongkong government is quite open to the sector and does not impose taxes on investors and businesses that generate profits from trading digital currencies. The density of crypto ATMs is among the highest, as there are two machines for every 100,000 people. This makes Hong the most Crypto Ready Nation.

USA was the leader on the list during the year 2021. Now it has fallen to the second position. Switzerland, one of Europe’s financial hubs does not tax crypto gains and is home to numerous blockchain startups. The authorities of the Southern Swiss city Lugano displayed intentions to introduce Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), and LVGA Points token as legal tender.

Interest different nations show towards digital assets based on the Google search data for "cryptocurrency".

Australia - 4,579 people out of 100,000 have searched “cryptocurrency”
Ireland - 3,472 people out of 100,000 have searched “cryptocurrency”
UK - 3,409 people out of 100,000 have searched “cryptocurrency”

Even if some official social media account of any of the institution promote cryptocurrencies, giveaways or NFT, don't fall for it. By the time make a clear analysis and go further. Yesterday the British Army's Social media accounts were hacked and more scams were promoted. It is always good to stay safe as hackers are always in search of possible ways to scam common people.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: May 19, 2022, 12:15:45 PM
Gambling have brought me big wins as well as drastic losses. If my entire statistics is calculated this used to be in loss. I've tried different plans to keep me away from Gambling, however I wasn't able to do it. In the beginning I never mind when I experience loss, because I was single and now I have a family. I used to gamble without fear.

In recent days whenever I get into gambling I used to experience some changes in my body. Particularly stomach pain and I myself found the difference while gambling and not gambling. When I wasn't gambling I never have such issues and I myself checked Google and diagnosed the below. Does anyone have similar experience. Atleast for my health I need to give up gambling.

Irritable bowel syndrome
Also called: IBS, spastic colon

Pain areas: in the abdomen
Pain types: can be recurrent in the abdomen
Gastrointestinal: change in bowel habits, constipation, diarrhoea, inability to empty bowels, indigestion, nausea, passing excessive amounts of gas, or urgent need to defecate

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Tesla used to power cryptocurrency mining. on: May 18, 2022, 11:19:47 AM
I don't know whether this is an old news or an recent incident. Today only I came across this and I find this a better way of green mining. But, in terms of affordability everyone can't depend or power their mining rigs using Tesla. Rather than serving as an influencer, Elon Musk could've thought in such a way as his customers.

Two Tesla owners have been using their cars to mine cryptocurrency, where one used his car to mine $800 per month. This is quite a good sum of money out of mining. Right now two of them were identified, and following this we can expect more Tesla owners follow this method.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Women's participation into cryptospace - Increased? on: May 07, 2022, 11:31:29 PM
In an article read about the increasing interest among the women's to get into the digital space and educate themselves. This in particular is much about the mom's and not the girls. They find this a place where they can able to invest and leave something to their kids. Most of these mom's were interested in teaching their kids about the developing technology and for that some are learning it. One of the mom mentioned
Quote
My whole point was, I want to educate myself. I lived in Seattle during the dot com bubble and I had no voice or power to do anything.

Quote
The majority of mom investors interviewed by NBC News claimed that they were interested in crypto as a way to “meaningfully change” the financial security of their families

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: April 30, 2022, 01:59:56 AM
It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me  Sad Sad Sad

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Trezor Customers Targetted....!!! on: April 03, 2022, 11:54:32 PM
Trezor owners  have been targeted with fake data breach emails, according to Twitter post.

Mailchimp have confirmed that their service has been compromised by an insider in order to send malicious links to cryptocurrency firms.

Users subscribed to newsletters powered by Mailchimp received a slew of fake notifications. Fraudsters, who were impersonating the Trezor team, warned that the cryptocurrency holdings of their potential victims could be stolen due to a massive security breach.
The bogus domain name featured Punycode characters, which made it possible for the hackers to add a veneer of legitimacy to the fake app.

According to Bleeping Computer, the scammers created a fraudulent version of Trezor Suite that is almost indistinguishable from the real one on the surface. To make potential victims drop their guard, the app even included a legitimate-looking warning, which urged users not to enter their recovery seed in the wake of the recent phishing attacks (unless the physical device instructs them to do so).

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / CEX ruins the true value of Bitcoin on: March 26, 2022, 01:10:17 AM
At times due to the rules and regulations of certain countries, CEX used to ruin the value of bitcoin. This means these exchanges completely outlaw the reason for which people prefer bitcoin as well as the reason for which bitcoin is being innovated. Coinbase, one among the leading exchange in terms of volume have come up with requirements of recipient information for crypto transfers from users in Canada, Singapore and Japan.

  • For Canada the limit is $1000CAD, fow which it requires the recipient information. This new change comes to effect from April 4, and this change is with regards to the Canada's FINTRAC rules.
  • For Singapore users, for each and every transaction it requires the recipient information along with country of residence. This comes to effect from April 1, change is following the Singaporean regulations.
  • With Japan complete information of the recipient name, address and country of residence is a must. This is according to the English translation of rules established by the Japan Cryptocurrency Trading Association (JVCEA). This will take effect on April 1, said the coinbase.

Recipient Information Required for Crypto Transfers From Users in Canada, Singapore and Japan

We aren't compelled to make use of these exchanges, it is possible to use the non custodial wallets. However this Exchanges might turn to be similar service providers of banks in future while sticking to the rules and regulations.

  • Sanctions made over Russia and this time US asks cryptocurrency exchanges to follow the same rules of sanctions. The same is being requested by the Ukraine Vice Prime Minister.
