I would like to advise people not to come into mining if you are looking for lucrative profit and to break even fast , it's nearly impossible for Eth mining to break even in one year by now , 220MH/s can't bring you $300 a month , if you bought a rig at $4k , it takes you a year without including electricity fee , and this is not taking the drastically increment of difficulty into calculation , one month before , 220MH/s can bring you $500 a month , which means if ETH unable to double the price by end of the year , you may be looking at $100 a month of mining profit
You can always argue you mine ETH just to keep it to wait for value appreciation , yes you definitely can , what I'm proposing here is to people who looking to break even fast or earning huge profit
My 2 cents : Do not risk your daily grocery money into a mining rig , do it unless you have some extras

I know this has been discussed and debated by the community for quite some time but as a newbie in mining , I am still very confuse
1) What is the pros and cons of each OS? 2) What is the longest uptime of your mining rig? ( No crashes, restart ,etc.) 3) How much difference on hash rate on both OS? Which one gets better result ? 4) Which OS is better for overclock? To maximize hash rate and stable at the same time
I have a 9 Nvidia P106-100 rig and I'm using windows to mine Eth, it's all time stable without overclock , but by the rate of 24Mh/s , the rig gets unstable ,likely to crash once after 3-4 days

NEM airdrop now worth 7 figures, Decred airdrop worth 6 figures, and Ripple airdrop only worth 5 figures now. At time of airdrop the amount being given was almost nothing. And ..... I have missed all that , really don't want to missed another huge opportunity although I'm still a newbie but extremely passionate in the crypto field ! So let's have a telegram group so we can share to each other the latest airdrop you have seen Telegram :: -------- https://t.me/joinchat/B3AHhQwmqOKo9aMZUsKI9g ----------- I have personally collected 14 ongoing airdrops in a google spreadsheet and would like to share to everyone , hope that everyone can contribute more to the list !

I'm new to the mining scene , last few days I tried to source for suitable GPU for mining like RX 470 or GTX 1070, but all of them out of stock , so after some research I bought mining card Nvidia P106-100 . After setting up, everything runs smooth, temperature and hash rate all are good and less power consume. I don't see any disadvantages of it compared to GPU besides without second hand value.
What do you prefer Mining card or GPU? and what are the cons of mining card besides the second hand value thingy?

I have been on bitcointalk for quite a long time but not registering an account until this early August , I have seen some people say the deep onion Airdrop will not accept new members to register, is it true ? If it is , did they change the policy? I hope so

Hi guys, because of some reason, the place I live now has super low electricity fee, around $0.02/kwh , should I start mining? My place can withstand around 60-70 miners I think , I will be starting with 2-3 as I have no much extra cash
