2  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / cgminer - reconnect time on: January 08, 2014, 01:03:28 PM
Hi,

how can I change the default pool reconnection time to less than default 30 seconds? I have a lot of connection problems and 5 second delay will be better than default 30.
3  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Are there any profitable USB miners? on: January 03, 2014, 10:50:15 AM
I see that most of the USB miners have (at current difficult level) about 6 month return period to start earning. That makes them not profitable at all. Are there any profitable usb miners?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Multiple altcoins on single server on: December 09, 2013, 10:03:25 PM
Hi,

I'd like to run most of the altcoins wallets on one server. I have for now (for development) about 10 wallets on 4 core xeon with 8gigs of ram and two hdds with raid 1. The problem is that this is not enough to handle so much altcoins (hdd can't handle this) Shocked All of them was compiled from source and runned only from cli (no gui on server). Did anyone of you had such problems with performance before? Any ideas how to solve them? I'd like to run more than 30 walltets and for now I don't see any way to handle such load Sad Thanks for help! Smiley
5  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Asus Crosshair IV Formula 4GPU problem on: June 17, 2013, 12:34:32 PM
Hi all,

I have Asus Crosshair IV Formula motherboard and 3 Radone HD5830's connected to ports 1,2 and 4, the port nr 3 was empty. I bought 1 more 5830 and connected it to slot nr 3... Right after that strange things started happen. In all setups all cards fans are working, even if I don't plug GPU power so all PCIe slots are powered.
* When I have 4 cards plugged in, only the cards in slots 1 and 2 are working (are visible in system)
* When I have 3 cards plugged in on slots 1, 2 and 3 all works ok
* When I have 3 cards plugged in on slots 1, 2 and 4, only the cards in slots 1 and 2 are working
* When I have 1 card plugged in on slot 4 windows starts, but there are no vision on connected monitor and after connecting to it by remote desktop, hardware manager don't shows any video cards

Any idea what's wrong?
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / [ANNOUNCE] btc.suriv.net - another easier way to get bitcoins on: May 03, 2013, 04:33:16 PM
Hi,

Some time ago I wrote a simple script that allows efficient "clicking" on pages with free bitcoins. It is an alternative to skude.se / btc which is not very comfortable, has only a few pages, and for a while it looks rather left alone by the author. A few days ago I thought I'd share with you what I created.

Link: http://btc.suriv.net

On the right top corner you can change default BTC address to your own, and start surfing using links on the left site of the page.

If you have any problems or ideas please write comment in this topic.
