1  Economy / Securities / Selling 1500 Neo Bee Shares for 1BTC Total on: April 03, 2014, 03:00:38 AM
Price would be half that of the current locked in price at 0.00066BTC/share

Shares are on havelock and will be transferred directly to your havelock email. Can use escrow if you prefer. I've done several trades on the forum with no issue.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / What is most common way to ship internationally? on: January 19, 2014, 10:56:31 PM
In dealing with bitcoin related stuff (miners, casascius coins, etc) what is the preferred way to ship these internationally (US as source location)?

Are there custom fees that the seller needs to pay? Do these fees vary depending on the declared value of the item? For example would shipping a 0.1BTC casascius coin oversees differ in price than a 10BTC coin?

Do people tend to fully insure these items at full value, or does that raise suspicion? For example shipping a very expensive miner and declaring it for $30,000.

3  Other / Beginners & Help / How does Escrow work for physical items? on: January 19, 2014, 09:16:18 PM
I've used escrow on this forum before for trading securities (friedcat shares), but how does escrow work for buying/selling physical items?

Does the seller mail the item to the escrow while the buyer pays to the escrow? And then the escrow is responsible for mailing the item to the buyer?

Also haven't been active in a while. Any ideas who are the most popular escrows these days?

Thanks.

These coins are in very good condition, though there are some minor smudges on the exterior of the plastic casing. The 1btc coins have been in cases ever since I received them and the 25btc has been in the plastic pouch that mike caldwell included. I just purchased a plastic airtight case for the 25btc coin off ebay, and it will come with that. Shipping is free for the 1BTC coins via USPS Priority.

2011 25BTC Coin - sold
2012 1BTC Coin with case/white ring - sold
2013 1BTC Coin with case/black ring - sold

I live in SF and work in South Bay. Local meetups can also be arranged. Accepting BTC Only. Escrow accepted, but buyer pays fees.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will Casascius coins lose its BTC value as prices increase? on: December 23, 2013, 10:00:18 AM
Casascius coins have always had a pretty hefty premium above its sticker price. Do you guys think the premium will drop as the price per bitcoin with USD increases?

1 BTC coin roughly went for around 1.3-1.4 btc each. Once bitcoin reaches 5k+ will people really be willing to pay 1500-$2000 additional for the coin? Or do you think 1BTC coins will drop in value to something like 1.05BTC etc?

If the latter is true, wouldn't it be best to exchange/sell casascius coins if you are long term holder? Especially if you own larger coins like 10BTC/25BTC versions.
6  Economy / Auctions / QUICK [5hr] Auction of 1 ASICMINER Direct Share. on: August 29, 2013, 09:54:53 AM
Selling 1 AM direct share. Auction price starts at 2.5BTC. Minimum increment of 0.01BTC

Instant buyout price 2.99BTC.

Timer removed. End time: 2013-08-29+15:00:00UTC

I would prefer to not use escrow, but if you insist, I accept TAT or John K. as long as you pay for fees. Once payment is received by Escrow and my message for share transfer to Friedcat is sent, the deal is non refundable. Direct shares tend to take 1-2 weeks for the transfer to completely finish.

My address with the share: 18v4knFXG5z8tu6jg6ENSBnixska2nx1Zn

A previous auction I did with the same address: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=224459.0

Message: vesper39 owner of 1 am direct share as of august 29.

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it possible to find out what "change" addresses my coins are in bitcoin-qt? on: June 06, 2013, 08:05:22 PM
I like the feature with blockchain.info's wallet where you can click "Receive Funds" and see how many coins you have for every address you own.

However with bitcoin-qt, all you get is the cumulative sum of all the coins in all your addresses. This even includes the addresses that are invisible to the user from change addresses.

Is it possible, or is there a console command to figure out how your coins are actually distributed between the addresses?

I hate not knowing where exactly my coins are, and after I make a transaction, I usually end up sending all my coins back to one of my known public addresses so that they are not spread out in a bunch of change addresses...

Or secondly, can bitcoin-qt just return change to same address as the sender?

9  Economy / Auctions / [WTS] 27 ASICMINER Direct shares, 5 lot minimum. Fixed Price on: May 30, 2013, 07:37:53 PM
For sale are 27 asicminer direct shares. Minimum is 5 shares per order, unless you happen to win the remaining amount which end up to be less than 5.

Starting Price: 2.5BTC/share

I know there are currently some cheaper auctions such as "Chaang Noi's", but I am offering a much lower minimum requirement.

As always, first come first serve.

Escrow is welcome, but not required. Buyer pays escrow fees. I know I don't have many forum posts, but I have done successful trades with camoList, casascius, johnnywalker, and rastapool.

10  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Invites to Funfile.org, a private torrent site on: May 21, 2013, 05:57:59 AM
Been a member for 4.5 years now with good standing. I personally have over 2TB of upload credits. The private torrent site requires a 1:1 ratio or 72hr upload per torrent or you will get banned. They always have the newest tv shows, movies, and also recently started adding xxx material. The torrents allow you to always download at maximum bandwidth and also greatly minimizes your chances getting in trouble for downloading illegel content  Roll Eyes

0.10BTC per invite. feel free to PM for more info.
