1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Regulating bodies on: May 03, 2019, 03:13:15 PM
Online gambling is very popular nowadays, specially those who also uses crypto for playing. With this popularity, there's ton of gambling sites/operators available. But the problem is who to trust? who plays fair and pays fair?

Are there any regulating bodies that verifies, rates, and promotes gambling sites that is genuinely fair to its customers? Not just on fair plays but also gambling sites that protects its customers identity etc. Thank you.

Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency in general are slowly been accepted and recognized by some financial institutions in some countries in the last few years. And there are well-known personalities that promotes the use of cryptocurrency around the globe.

But the questions is how come its value decreases after it has reached the highest in the last quarter of 2017. Was it being more accepted affected its value? What are your thoughts?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Philippine Crypto on: July 06, 2018, 05:29:28 PM
The Philippines continues to embrace crypto-currency. Crypto-currency has been very active in the Philippines these past few months and its government is taking notice, positively. Studies has been going on left and right by the government and private sectors on how to regulate crypto and make full use of it for the public's advantage.

Here's another article about it. I just hope it continues to grow more and make it a part of everyone's lives.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / besides Ethereum on: June 20, 2018, 08:51:54 PM

Hi everyone! I'm (still) basically new here and I observed that most ICOs I see are based on the Ethereum blockchain. Why is that so?
Also, what blockchain technology besides Bitcoin and Ethereum are widely used in ICOs? Thanks and have a great day.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum used successfully on: June 19, 2018, 09:53:13 PM
We have seen a lot of Start-ups/ICOs these past few years whose projects are based on a blockchain technology which is very promising and unique. But I only heard very few that is really successful and its products are really useful.

I recently read an article on which Ethereum blockchain is being used and it looks successful on it. I just hope we can see more of these. This is the best way that the public will really appreciate the technology and not just hearing all the negatives that surrounds it.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Unfair ICO to hunters? on: April 10, 2018, 09:16:40 PM
https://fiancia.io/public/blogs/2018/04/10/bounty-hunters-blog/

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2881283.0

This ICO require his bounty hunters to contribute to it by sending 0.1 ETH, for them to get paid after the campaign. Is this serious? This is the first time I participated in a campaign where the hunters need to pay to get paid!

I would like to hear your opinion, specially from those campaign managers of this Forum. Thanks

Magandang Araw!
Salamat
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin will kill itself on: March 23, 2018, 08:28:47 PM
One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. From money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. We always blame the FUD from mainstream media, financial institutions like banks, the government etal. But do you think, the one that would "kill" Bitcoin is actually the nature of it.

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Security or Utility tokens on: March 20, 2018, 08:49:30 PM
There are a lot of ICOs out there that are promising and you can earn from it. Which is ICO is better, the one that provide Security token or the one with Utility token? Which of these two you would likely to earn more?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin for start up projects on: March 20, 2018, 05:37:52 PM
I'm basically new here in the cryptocurrency world, I noticed that most start up projects like ICOs and such are using alt coins like ETH and NEM for their projects.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Mining on today's prices on: March 16, 2018, 06:40:09 PM
Is it still profitable to mine Bitcoin or any other crypto with today's prices? Is it also advisable to invest in mining? With all other expenses like electric bill etc., looks like miners are having a bad time to earn.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will it be better? on: March 15, 2018, 04:31:45 PM
Bitcoin, crypto currency in general, have taken a lot of exposure this past few years. Specially last year where Bitcoin price reached  around 20k USD.

And because of its popularity, more and more people (and money) are getting involved. Scammers took notice of it and are taking advantage of it and a lot of people are victimized by these crooks. Facebook took action by banning crypto ads in their platform, and Google are now following steps.

Do you think that crypto currency is better away from the limelight? And hoping that it will gain momentum if the general public's eye is =not looking?

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Google to ban cryto related advertisements on: March 14, 2018, 08:10:45 PM
After Facebook, Google also plans to ban advertisements related to crypto currency. But some analyst says it for the better.
What are your thoughts?

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Famous People on: March 09, 2018, 06:25:56 PM
Bitcoin, crypto-currency in general still suffers negative responses from mainstream media. Always putting it in bad light.
But how come there are a lot of prominent businessmen, celebrities and even companies that are into crypto-currency and reaping its benefits?
One example is Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks and other businesses. Name some of them here, only those who are confirmed that they are into crypto. Thanks
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / KYCs (Know your Client) is killing crypto on: March 01, 2018, 05:53:35 PM
When I was starting to get involved in crypto-currency, one of its features that attracts me is the privacy it gives you. Now with all those KYC being required in exchanges and in ICOs and other platforms, some people are beginning to be hesitant in their activities in crypto.
17  Economy / Economics / Peer to Peer Exchange on: February 14, 2018, 08:43:38 PM
Is there any trading/exchange site that have a feature where people can directly trade and communicate with each other? Like a social media type platform?
18  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin's use on: February 14, 2018, 08:30:27 PM
In my understanding, Bitcoin was created as a currency an electronic form of it. But it is currently used as a form of investment. Do you think this will always be the case, and Bitcoin will never really be a type of currency?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and the Alts on: February 13, 2018, 08:58:53 PM
It is observed that altcoin prices are depended on Bitcoin's price. What are the reasons why? Is it always like this?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The ERC-20 Token Transfer might have Failed on: February 05, 2018, 05:03:21 PM
"The ERC-20 Token Transfer might have Failed (ErrCode: unable to locate corresponding Transfer event log), check with sender."

I would just like to share this.

I was trying to transfer some tokens (PIN, pincoin) to an exchange and the transaction always failed with the message above (etherscan). I googled about it and saw some links but there's no answer to the error.

I remembered EQL (Equal), they required us to left few tokens to our wallet if where going to send some to the exchange. I tried it with PIN and it worked. I don't know if this is the only answer to the error above, but it works for me even if I lowered my GWEI (1st try is 12 the next is only 4).

I hope this also works to other tokens that's having the same problem.
