1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / The ultimate infrastructure portfolio on: January 01, 2019, 04:16:59 PM
So around a month ago I decided I want to become a millionaire by 2025 or at least buy a home. I'll turn 30 then.

In contrast to some others here I was able to survive the bear market (still in profit despite entering the market a few days before BTC made the 5k$ ATH).

With the money that I have now I want the highest chance of becoming wealthy by the age of 30 without needing to continue monitoring my portfolio all the time. This is the source of the idea to make this list.

This list only contains infrastructure projects. I know the STO thingy is getting hyped right now but honestly - I don't think these projects can provide real value for their tokens just by helping companies to STO. In my opinion the real money in that space is going to be made in securities exchanges (which I'm planning on getting into during the next year with fresh money I have to work for).

Anyway, I decided to go with infrastructure because I think that 100 billion USD is a good and achievable target for those 3-4 that win the race in the end. This provides plenty of return opportunity. So I did a lot of research on which coins provide the best risk reward in different target categories.

I grouped the projects in the different categories of "have 100k$ to buy a home" and "be a millionaire" by 2025. Amounts are based on the projects respective target and my target wealth. I gave each project a risk/reward score based on their history and their price in relation to their total supply (not circulating since it's long term holds). Then I started adding to the list from the highest score until I ran out of money to put in. This is the result.

Target -> have 100k$ to buy a home:

- 1500 Waves for 4.6k$
- 1500 QTum for 3.2k $
- 1000 EOS for 2.6k$
- 30k ADA for 1.2k $
- 2.8k IOTA for 1k$
- 100 NEO for 750$
- 1600 ICX for 380$
- 34 Elastos für 92$

Target -> be a millionaire:
- 1200 Komodo for 940$
- 1400 Ark for 540$
- 30k Hycon für 450$
- 1000 NULS for 390$
- 2700 Aion for 390$
- 3k Credits for 280$
- 20k Ruff for 160$
- 15k Fantom for 100$
- 100k YEED for 45$
- 10k Seele for 35$

Together with the other coins I'm holding - which are all Moonshots too (10k KCS, 30k Nexo, 20k CSNO, 1700 CHX) this portfolio is currently worth around 28k$.

Some projects (like Quarkchain) are simply too expensive right now to be in the moonshot category but way too underdeveloped to make in in the 100k category. Others are not released yet. I planning on adding Dusk Network as well as Hashgraph depending on their prices when they hit the exchanges.

What to you think about this list. Is there anything else that should definitely be on a list like this in your opinion?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ICO economics - private sales and resellers on: January 18, 2018, 08:45:27 PM
Hi,

I recently stumbled upon a telegram channel in which deals for ICOs were offered that were new / not known / not announced yet. These offers were always accompanied by bonuses that were not publicly available.

Today I learned that the managers of that group purchase these tokens not directly from these ICOs but from other resellers (who have enough money to buy into private presales).

So I figured if you wanna get the highest possible bonus it would be best to buy from the original resellers instead of the resellers of the resellers Smiley

Do you know any companies that purchase tokens and resell them (keeping some of the Bonus - that's their profit)?

Which ones. I've been trying to find them via google  but didn't really come up with any results.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BFG Miner - Mining for the first time. How to? on: August 23, 2017, 07:51:15 PM
Hi,

I'm sorry I'm a noob mining. I wanted to start mining a shit coin with my home PC just to see how it works but I can't seem to get there.

First I tried Solomining Florincoin using this tutorial:
https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/topic/9505-how-to-solo-mine/

I couldn't connect.

Tried it with a pool and a tutorial from that pool from here:
https://flo.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

This time it connected, but found no devices.

Googled that. Only answer I found was to add:
-S opencl:auto
to the *.bat file.

Now it found "something" which seems to be the processor although only working around 10% of max according to the Windows Resource Monitor.

This is the line in the console:
OCL 0: 60.0C |   3.9/  3.9/  0.0kh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none

I assume it means I'm currently mining at 0.0kh/s.

So what am I doing wrong here?

Graphics Card I would mine with would be a R9 290 but I would even bet happy to just get it working.
