*) Added thermal shutdown and automatic recovery

*) Added over/down-voltage ability both with basic preset settings and advanced settings, leading to an increased hashing rate.

*) Updated cgminer to latest version 4.3.0

*) Optimized cgminer’s driver with up to 20% less CPU usage on Raspberry Pi system

2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Official Avalon mining rig clones thread from bitmine.ch (NOW SHIPPING) on: May 24, 2013, 09:42:46 PM
Hi all,

we thought it may be interesting for everybody to know that we're starting to take preorders for a small batch of what will be an exact clone of the Avalon mining rig. As you know, Avalon isn't taking orders for their rigs anymore and there's a change they won't be doing it soon, BUT they're selling their ASIC ICs. We have ordered a batch of ICs and are ready to assemble & ship out working units based on Avalon's design as early as the beginnings of August 2013. In fact, everything is ready and we're just holding the production waiting for Avalon's ICs to be delivered.

http://www.bitmine.ch

Specs are identical to Avalon's units, 4 modules of 21-22 GH/s each making up an unit of 85+ GH/s using about 650-700W standard ATX PSU.

Here's the link to our YouTube channel where you can see the first video of our "How's a bitmine.ch bitcoin miner made"!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQY3Y8shBY8

If you have your own Avalon ICs, you can order the unit & send in your ASIC ICs for fitting in the clones, this option is ALWAYS possible and doesn't depend on the batches' stock! Check the website for more infos.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Happy mining!!
