Is anyone going? (I know, it's "blockchain", but it looks like there'll be a decent crypto/Bitcoin presence.) For anyone interested, Coinscrum in the UK has been giving away free tickets. It might be worth registering as a free member for any future offers. Conference web page: https://conference.bitcoin.com/Speakers: https://conference.bitcoin.com/speakers/

Who is responsible for this? http://thebtcring.com/Awesome job! Love some of the features: Value
You and your friends won't need a jeweler to tell you exactly how much this ring is worth.
Decoupling Design
Beautiful rings come and go with the times but the backing of these rings should not. The BTC ring can be reprinted to keep up with the latest styles.
Replacability
Just because something has value doesn't mean that all should be lost when the physical ring is misplaced. The real value of the BTC ring lies in the Blockchain.
Re-upping
As salaries increase, you can upgrade the BTC ring without going to the jeweler.

Any US lawyers want to chime in? http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2014/03/ucc-article-9-going-kill-us-bitcoin-us-businesses.htmlIn short, bitcoins may not currently fall within the definition of "money" for the purposes are Art 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, being a "medium of exchange currently authorized or adopted by a domestic or foreign government" (UCC § 1-201(b)(24)). The upshot: If anyone takes Bitcoins from a business that has a blanket lien (and you as someone dealing with that business won't know the state of their finances) and that business gets in trouble, the bank can go after any current holder of Bitcoins that have passed through that business' accounts Absurd result, obviously.

In short, I've become very interested in Bitcoin and its enormous potential. I am a lawyer in the UK and I would like to get involved and provide assistance where I can (i.e. dedicate some of my spare time to research and providing advice on a pro bono basis).
Are there any groups in the UK I should contact (Bitcoin Foundation, for example, has some UK based members but no UK chapter as far as I am aware) or any other avenues I should be looking at?

I've tried a few and all but Opera mini (which has its own issues) stuggle with this forum. Specifically, whenever I view a thread, random posts will appear in super small text. Why is that?
I haven't managed to find any settings that fix this.
(I'm using a Galaxy Note 3, btw.)

Sure I read about this already but I can't find the thread.
I set up an offline wallet on a Raspberry Pi - super easy, so far so good - and a read only copy on my online PC.
I sent coins to the offline wallet which, according to blockchain.info, went find (13 confirms and counting). However, in the Electrum client (online PC), the same transaction is reported as "unverified" with "-1 confirmation".
Is that normal / a bug?
