1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Nicehash - deleting accounts with big balances. - 1.7 BTCs held by NH on: January 22, 2018, 04:09:05 AM
What happened: After I made a deposit of 1.694 BTCs, my account got deleted and can no longer access it. First I placed a mining order for 0.05 BTCs and after minutes I noticed it was loaded with my full balance. I tried to cancel the order as it became unprofitable but received a "No Permission" error. I thought that would be fixed by logging out and in again so I logged out and could not login again - incorrect username or password. Tried to use password reset and received "error finding user". Since I kept my API keys, I tried to use them in order to see if I can see my balance or cancel the order from there but also got an error.

After the last breach, we as buyers received an email with VIP support number available to contact them personally on Whatsapp or Telegram. As I had an order losing my BTCs with a ratio of 3:1 I wanted immediate support so I tried to text them but got no response at all either on whatsapp or telegram. They seem to not be using this number but gave no prior notice to us that their VIP support is going offline.

As I received no response from NH and it would take long time if ever to reply to my email,  I reached out to the pool operator of unimining.net in order to ban/block my mining address in their pool and restart the stratum to disable the order into establishing a connection and hopefully killing it.

There was already miners on the pool and restarting the stratum would interrupt their work but as the pool's admin knew I was losing big money he helped me out and killed the connection from NH to the pool on my mining address and although I ofc lost some money I did the best anyone could do in order to avoid losing too much and I guess it all went pretty fast and the order was disconnected after around 15 minutes maybe. After some time of failed connection I received an email from NH that my order was cancelled by the system.

2  Bitcoin / Electrum / My BTC TXs have a relatively large size compared to others. on: January 10, 2018, 11:00:51 PM
Hello,

Almost all my TXs have relatively large size compared to their similar ones.

Take this as an example, that should be the slimmest TX in size as it has only 1 input and only 1 output.

This one is 339 Bytes similar TXs should be like 192 or so.

A second one with 1 input and 2 outputs has a size of 372, similar ones are 226 bytes
