I invested in a game called "spacey the bird" and I think I got scammed. The guys account was xyzabc and now I think he's called ExtraMileGames. He has gone dead on Facebook and isn't responding to my messages. His name on Facebook was Shubham Garg.
Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot for investing; thats not the point. I don't want anyone else getting scammed .

There aren't many coins that still have much value to them after the mother of all pumps but two that stand out to me are:
Iconomi: still relatively cheap and although has gone up has not been pumped to all hell. It can be bought for Euros on Kraken and I'm going to have a punt.
Melon: Was never really pumped. Is based on ethereum and has a modest maximum supply.
Let me know what you guys think or if there are other similar coins that might present an opportunity.

Iconomi has been fairly quiet during this bubble, at least relatively speaking. Anyone think it might be worth a punt? Its still relatively cheap and you can't say that about many coins.

I am thinking about bitcoins startups and would like to help grow the bitcoin ecosystem but am unsure of what people are demanding. I have a reasonable amount of capital to invest in such a venture.
What do people think are good ideas or what do people want - taking into account barriers to entry and competition?

Most alts are having a retrenchment after the boom but ethereum is up 8%. Anyone now why it is so disconnected from the wider market?

I'm posting this here rather than in mining because its really a meta-mining question.
Just wondering what the state of mining is. I remember when anyone could do it and then I remember when you had to buy dedicated mining equipment (ASICS). I lost interest in the subject just as it was becoming non-viable for the common man, though people were still buying block eruptors and apparently doing ok with them.
Where are we now? In order to mine sucessfully do you have to be Rick from Rick and Morty with access to quantum defrackulators and or a Chinese mining farm?

I'd like to create a site that can connect those wanting to improve their skills in competitive online games like DOTA 2 and starcraft 2 and are willing to pay in crypto (not necessarily aspiring professionals). We will have coaches who are at a high level in such games. Coaching sessions will be arranged on our site and we will take a fee. Tutees will leave feedback on/for coaches.
I think there is room for growth in this if done well.
