Announcing the first Curecoin giveaway – your chance to win a GTX 760 or games!

With the launch of Curecoin becoming closer to a reality, Vorksholk and Yeltz have teamed up to create the first Curecoin giveaway contest. Up for grabs are two prizes: 1) the first place prize is a 2GB EVGA GTX 760 and 2) the second place prize is a coupon good for downloads of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, and Splinter Cell Blacklist for PC.

Simply let us know you're entering here or on the contest thread at curecoin.us by providing your folding ID/donor name, and join the Curecoin folding team, accumulate at least a score of 400,000 points within the time the contest is running.

For direction on getting setup if you're not already, check out this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=268556.0

How winners will be chosen:
At the end of the contest, all folding team members which accumulated at least a score of 400,000 points will be eligible for the drawing. Two winners will be selected at random, with the person with the higher of the two scores winning first place and the lower of the two winning second place.

   b) At the ending of the contest, the folding team data will be again captured.
   c) For members that have accumulated points prior to the beginning of the start period, those point will be removed from their score, such that only points accumulated during the contest period will be counted.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Curecoin logo (looking for feedback) on: August 08, 2013, 03:23:36 AM
Hey guys,

I've been working with CygnusXI to design a Curecoin logo/coin. After several revisions, I think we're getting pretty warm to a finished product, but would dig any additional thoughts/criticisms/suggestions.

This is the current design:

(higher resolution available here: https://i.imgur.com/cCEEqMy.jpg - note that I've made small changes in the font for all the size revisions in order to keep the image as legible as possible.)

What would be particularly helpful is if someone familiar with Kanji is able to confirm that the 治 character is correct (or at least not wrong) meaning "cure," or the like. This is the first crypto project I've been involved with at all and it's important to me that I get things right. If you haven't seen my thoughts in other posts: I honesty believe that we're only at the tip of the iceberg so far as how far Curecoin will go - it has the potential to be the first crypto to change the future of humanity. In fact, even the current Curecoin folding team has blown through the ranks - possibly *already* providing resources to cure terrible diseases.

I think there's still room to get in on the beta/test pool, too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261521.0.

Anyway, thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated.
