1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: February 26, 2022, 06:54:56 AM
Many people think that bitcoin should move up in a straight line but this is not how the market works. Markets may show us many up and down before moving up and sadly people are not ready for these movements and sell their bitcoin before it reaches the all time high.

4  Other / Meta / Elon Musk threads are moved to Off-topic ? on: June 05, 2021, 02:04:50 PM
Today i created the thread in bitcoin discussion Elon MusK Bullish again for bitcoin ? in which i discussed about the profile picture which was changed to "bitcoin".
Later i found it was moved to Off-topic and then i realized that a lot of threads which contain Elon Musk name in the title were moved to Off-topic.
Are mods moving all these Elon Musk stuff to off-topic ?
5  Other / Off-topic / Elon MusK Bullish again for bitcoin ? on: June 05, 2021, 05:49:07 AM
Elon Musk changed his profile picture and unlike his previous tweets, this move seems to be a positive one.
Is is time for bitcoin to cross the ATH again ?

6  Other / Meta / Is it time to increase the Emojis ? on: June 04, 2021, 05:26:28 AM
Since the time i am using bitcointalk, we have the same number of Emojis in the compose section.
If you look at other applications like Whatsapp / telegram etc, they offer so many more choices of Emojis but in here we have only these few Emojis .

Is it time to increase these Emojis ?
7  Economy / Services / Identify these alerts on: May 23, 2021, 05:57:52 AM

I think it is some sort of telegram bot, but i want to know the exact link so i can join it too. Thanks

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Elon Musk Tweeting Power gone on: May 22, 2021, 11:56:08 AM
Being one of the famous personality around the world, Elon Musk is using his tweets to pump up the doge coin. I can't say that he can dump bitcoin alone with his tweets because there are other big players involve in it too but for dogecoin, he is single handly pumping with his tweets. But this cannot continue forever. Sooner or later, his tweet will have no effect on the prices. I wonder when that time will come ?

10  Economy / Service Discussion / Is there any minimum amount of budget which should be paid in btc campaigns ? on: April 22, 2021, 01:24:19 PM
Don't know if it been discussed before or not but are there any limits that if anyone wants to publish any bitcoin signature campaign or social media campaign, then you need to pay minimum amount of money to the participants.
For example, if anyone start a bitcoin campaign by offering only $10 or $ 5 per week or even less, is it allowed ?

If there is no minimum budget, the campaigns can offer very little incentive in bitcoin and publish their campaign in bitcoin services section to get more exposure.
11  Other / Meta / Is it allowed to limit only certain participants to post in a thread ? on: April 17, 2021, 11:35:08 AM
I just came across a thread [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion where you are only allowed to post if you participated in the pool. If you do not participate and post there, people will report the posts so that mods will delete them
Quote
Local rules: Pool participants, sponsor/banner representative are only allowed to discuss in this topic.
If you are not in the pool then your comments will be reported to the mods to be deleted.

My questions are :-

1. Is it right to limit only certain participants to post in a public thread ?

2.  There are number of reasons where a post should be reported but if any non-member post a good constructive post, it is right to report his post ?

3. Will the mods will delete the post because it does not follow the local rule but followed all the forum rules ?

Note: I am not against this thread but i want to be clear on these points. I think it would be better if  a Self-moderated thread was created for
this purpose ?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How the staking providers earn money ? on: March 26, 2021, 10:14:57 AM
I always wonder that what's the benefit of staking to the staking providers platform ? For sure they must be earning something big that's why they give us attractive APY but i want to know how does it help them to earn money ?
Most of us know about staking but very few may know this secret.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / bsctalkforum can be compared to this forum on: March 23, 2021, 12:34:56 PM
I recently came across a binance smart chain forum called bsctalkforum https://bsctalkforum.com/forum/. For sure, they took this idea of domain name from bitcointalk. I wonder if in future they make develop a forum which is of the same level and popularity as bitcointalk  Huh
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Buy / Sell NFTs on: March 10, 2021, 12:15:34 PM
I just found a site where you can buy / sell nft.

You make a tweet, connect your account with metamask and make offer to sell your tweet NFT.  Also you can buy other people tweet NFT by placing bids.

Note: I am not associated with this site. Do your own research before working here.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin can / cannot replace the banks ? on: February 28, 2021, 07:52:56 AM

They are of the point of view that since internet cannot replace the newspapers, the same is true with the banks. Being a crypto lover, i would love to see banks eliminated but does these big people with so much money will let that happen  Huh
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 21, 2020, 07:55:00 PM
There is some confusion when it comes to BTC Market or USDT Market and sometimes it is difficult to decide to take profit in which currency, BTC or USDT.

I give you an example here and hope anyone can explain in detail.

ETH was 0.035 BTC few months ago and it was around 400$ USD. I did not took the profit and did not sell Eth.

Today, ETH is 0.028 BTC but in USD it is around 540$. (buz BTC price is high)

Now if i had sold it earlier at 0.035 BTC, so today's its worth would have been 660$.

So what's is the best approach in this case to get the maximum profit ?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Ripple (XRP) Breaking out on: November 21, 2020, 07:00:34 PM

Ripple XRP Price Chart pumped to $0.44 today.
It has broken the very long resistance and looking extremely bullish. Is it time to take profit or will you hold your XRP for more gains ?

19  Other / Meta / Deleted Thread Archived ? on: August 30, 2020, 02:01:40 AM
Sometimes the whole thread is deleted and all our posts in it are also deleted in it. We get no message in our inbox that our posts are deleted but we can see that our post count gets reduced.
Is there any archive for the deleted thread or are we able to see our posts which we made in those threads ?
20  Other / Meta / A little glitch in accessing bitcointalk on: June 27, 2020, 05:29:00 PM
