2  Economy / Services / Bitcoin business owner in need of promotion? Let me review your business! on: April 16, 2015, 02:12:50 AM

Hi. My name is Thom Isaacs and I was recently hired as a writer for CoinBuzz.com. I thought it'd be great to start reviewing some Bitcoin services/products, and so for that reason I'm offering to review your businesses.

If you want previous examples of my articles/reviews, you can find them on my CoinBuzz profile.

If you're interested please fill out this short application form, and I'll respond as soon as possible:

Types of services I cannot review:

  • Services that require me to commission a product. For example, web design services etc.
  • Due to their nature, I cannot review Bitcoin faucets. Unfortunately I simply cannot squeeze a full article out of a faucet. While this sucks, there's nothing I can do.
  • Services that operate out of a Bitcointalk thread (May be some exceptions to this but that's so unlikely that I've put it as a rule here anyway)
Other things to keep in mind:
  • If your business provides a physical product, a review copy will be required. The review copy will have to be sent to my (UK) address so that I can review it. I cannot pay for shipping costs.
  • If your business provides a service, some trial currency will be required for testing. This can either be real Bitcoins or testnet coins/faux credits (if your service supports that). Any money given to me will be used for testing and will then be returned to you. In the interest of journalistic integrity, no money will be kept by me.
  • I may refuse to review your business for reasons not specified here. There are inevitably going to be cases of this. Unfortunately, I may not be able to review your business for a unique reason. Rest assured you will not be kept in the dark if this happens: if your application is not accepted I will always explain my reasons for rejecting it.

Got any questions? Just PM me on Bitciontalk or email me at theuntitled154@gmail.com, and I'll do my best to answer.
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Introducing CryptoPendants, a new and creative way to store your Bitcoins. on: July 23, 2013, 07:46:41 PM
Introducing CryptoPendants, a new and creative way to store your Bitcoins.

What are CryptoPendants?

CryptoPendants are CryptoCurrency themed pendants, in which you can literally store Bitcoins, as you would in a physical Bitcoin or paper wallet.

The Pendants have a small plate inside them which slides in and out. On this plate is a tamper-evident security hologram, and beneath the hologram is the private key. CryptoPendants will (most likely) come with a small certificate, which includes the Bitcoin Address for your CryptoPendant. This means that the amount of money stored on a CryptoPendant is totally arbitrary and you can fund it as you please, unlike other physical Bitcoins which can only be bought with set amounts of money loaded in to them.

Here are a few pictures of the prototype that I currently have:

Click here to see an imgur album showing off CryptoPendants in better detail.

The prototype is...flawed, to say the least. All the details on can be found in the album linked above, so check that out.

Also, check out our (temporary) website!

I'm interested to know what people think of the concept in general, so please leave some feedback if you have any.
