1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / another reason to use bitcoins on: October 02, 2011, 02:26:08 PM
Bank of America Corp. is laying plans to charge millions of customers a $5 monthly fee to use their debit cards, and other big banks are expected to follow suit. The industry says it needs the fees to recoup revenue it will lose because of new government regulations taking effect Saturday that cap what they can charge merchants for debit-card transactions

Ok this whole difficulty the block rate has been hovering around the 8.5 to 9.5 mark...just woke up and its 6.42 right now...

The network hashrate is in the low 4000Gh/s...a few hours it was around 6000Gh/s right?
5  Bitcoin / Mining / 6950 unlocked crossfire problem on: June 10, 2011, 11:21:15 PM
Hey guys, i just upgraded my gaming/mining rig..

basically replaced the core 2 duo with an intel i5 2500k..and added another 6950

now the problem is that when im mining with both the cards(both cards reference, unlocked and clocked at 950mhz), my cpu usage shoots up to 50%..(using latest version of guiminer)

first i thought it was a problem with the 11.5 catalyst + opencl drives and so i went ahead and installed the 11.4 drivers..makes no difference..

i remember guiminer using only 1 to 5% of my old core 2 duo...
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / dwolla hacked.. on: June 07, 2011, 02:47:18 PM
ok i dunno what happened..but something happened..
$ were withdrawn from my bank account thats linked to dwolla..and then transfered out from there...

now the statement at dwolla doesnt show any such transcation..BUT in my email ive got notifications that a bank was linked and then cash was withdrawn after which the bank was unlinked..

EDIT: OK seems like a fuck up on the banks end...they say they'l refund the money by tomorrow..still dont understand the random emails i got from dwolla..PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND MONITOR EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS FROM DWOLLA...

mods please lock this.

hey guys..any way to delay the automatic startup of a program on windows 7?

im setting up a mining rig so that it automatically turns on and starts mining after a power failure..

using guiminer..problem is guiminer loads before msi afterburner gets a chance to apply the custom gpu voltages as the pc starts..pc hangs..

suggestions?
