2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Why mining and not buying coins - maybe a special trick in a pocket? on: October 31, 2013, 12:00:00 AM
Buy and hold is good, but not for all as the price is already over 200$.
If you buy btc worth of 10.000$ You'll get 50 coins. Not bad, but not very many. If you want few hundred coins to hold.
So, maybe decided to buy ASICS?
The trick might be that maybe you can buy ASICS using your company money?
The trick might be that maybe you can use your company electricity?
The trick is that there´s no need to make wire transfers required if buying directly.
The trick is that coins are very much untraceable and those are YOURS!

Of course there´re many miners doing the very same thing.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Which one is trustworthly exhange? All I used: hacked or legal troubles! on: May 11, 2013, 11:54:06 PM
Which one is good & trustworthly exhange?

I got burned with bitcoin-central... they got hacked twice. However it seems that they will be back
and will refund all money / btc. But I counted on them as they was in cooperation with the bank.
But security was poor - maybe - seems inside job from hosting as slush also hacked and servers was
hosted by the same company.

Im fine with MtGox, but they got hacked at least once. They have yubi... but now they have also
legal dispute with Coinlab which scares a lot...

bitcoin-24 was great as long as it lasted... I was wondering how they can do it. Accept deposits
and no questions asked Smiley just great as it should be, but seems that it will not work in the real world.
Promised to pay BTC back... still waiting.

Now Im wondering which one to use... any suggestions?

How about Bitstamp? Im only worried about their banking arrangements and hoping that they will not
follow bitcoin.24

It seems we need really distributed open exhange, but it does not yet exist.
Meanwhile need to find trustworthly exhange.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Should I order BFL Single SC?! on: May 11, 2013, 10:32:35 PM
Hello! My first post... but have been reading some time. Im looking for ASIC miner and it seems that currently only BFL offers those. I know it is unsure when I will receive it... but for me Avalon chip group buy and PCB assembly service from someone seems about same price, about same / unsure delivery time.  Asicminer blades are far too expensive when auctioned. WTF I shoud do!?
