volevo segnalarvi che l'operatore telefonico virtuale Rabona Mobile accetta pagamenti in criptovalute.
Non è una sim anonima, bisogna fornire tutti i dati come per qualsiasi operatore, però è possibile appunto pagare in cripto.
Non ho testato il servizio, ma provando a cliccare sul pulsante per fare le ricariche mi è uscito questo:



Quindi sembra che accettino BTC e ETH.
Ci tengo a precisare che non sono in alcun modo affiliato a Rabona Mobile, e non so dirvi nulla sulla qualità di questo operatore, ho solo voluto riportare la notizia perchè è la prima volta che vedo un operatore telefonico accettare direttamente cripotovalute (anche se ovviamente per altri operatori è possibile usare servizi tipo bitrefill).

Che voi sappiate, esiste un modo per spedire piccoli pacchi in modo anonimo? Ovvero fare in modo che chi spedisce non sappia la vera identità del ricevente?
Su due piedi l'unico modo che mi viene in mente è usare una terza persona che faccia da escrow, poi ci sono servizi tipo fermoposta ma spesso in quel caso chiedono la carta d'identità del destinatario, quindi non si può usare un nome falso. Una soluzione banale, se si abita vicini, è che il mittente nasconda il pacco in un certo posto prestabilito e poi il ricevente passi a prenderlo in un secondo momento.
Avete in mente soluzioni migliori?

Did someone of you try to do Arbitrage on sport bets in BTC gambling sites?
Some years ago i checked some sites and it wasn't possible (house edge was too big, bigger than the house edge in traditional sportbook sites).

"simpaticamente" quando si rinnova la postepay scompare dal sito la postepay "vecchia" (senza alcun preavviso), e non è più possibile visualizzare e stampare la lista dei movimenti.
Dato che in passato ho acquistato bitcoin con una carta scaduta, mi farebbe comodo per ogni evenienza avere la lista dei movimenti fatti (anche perchè alcuni movimenti sono riferiti ad exchange ormai chiusi).
Ho trovato in merito a ciò questo thread su un forum degli impiegati delle poste (che ironicamente ha grafica identica a questo sito):

insomma un vero garbuglio da medioevo, nemmeno loro sanno bene come fare, ci sono di mezzo dei passaggi assurdi tipo mandare fax e cose simili, ci manca solo il piccione viaggiatore e la busta con la ceralacca.

Mi chiedevo se qualcuno avesse già provato la trafila ed eventualmente se avesse trovato modi un po' più semplici per avere la lista dei movimenti.

I think atomic swap are a promising technology to do crypto-to-crypto trades.
Exchanges are shit because of many reasons: arbitrary fees, arbitrary rules, KYC/surprise KYC etc...
Direct exchange with other users is risky because of scammers. Yes, it's possible to use escrow but it's time-consuming and the escrow may request a fee.
If you do day-trading, exchanges will remain the best choice (because you don't have to pay txfee everytime), but if you do only a few trades occasionally, atomic swap would be a very good choice.

As far as i know, atomic swaps are not possible with every crypto. The 2 cryptos must be based on similar algorithms to have atomic swaps possible.
For example, litecoin to bitcoin should be possible.
As far as i know, there is no need to do soft/hard forks to allow the atomic swap, the're already possible.

The only problem is: how to do an atomic swap practically?
I did some researches and the situation is a little confusing. It seems there are some software but they seem crapware/centralized/not open source etc...also they act as a wallet. This isn't good, why should I trust new and closed-source wallets?
So the question is: is there some decent software to do atomic swaps? Even if it's only an experimental script or something similar, please post it there, so we can try to make a list of available software.

BCD exchanges seems very scammy and fee are ridicoulously high. Kucoin doesn't permit BCD deposit.

So I'd prefer to sell directly here, i can send first if some user with good reputation wants to buy.

I've read somewhere there are some developments about confidential transaction in bitcoin.
But how exactly it will be implemented? Like in monero (hidden sender, receiver and import) or in other ways?
Confidential transactions would be certainly a useful function, i think it's one of the few altcoin's features that are really useful, but there are also some dangers about it. For example, in case of bugs like that https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Value_overflow_incident, it would'nt be noticed, right?
In the case of bitcoin i'd see more useful something like "decentralized mixer" (i've read some altcoin use a similar system), it would allow decent anonimity without dangers like the one shown above.

Ho scoperto che esistono già implementazioni del lightning network che girano sulla testnet, con tanto di GUI ed eseguibile windows (senza quindi dover fare alchimie strane con compilatori vari).
Vi spiego come ho fatto ad installarlo, nel caso interessi:
1) andate qui: https://github.com/lightninglabs/lightning-app/releases e scaricate il file Lightning-win32-x64v0.1.2.zip
2) decomprimete (può volerci un po' perchè sono una miriade di file) ed avviate l'eseguibile Lightning.exe
3) aspettate che scarichi la blockchain, si tratta delle blockchain della testnet che quindi è molto piccola, non so dirvi quanto pesi ma credo sulle decine o massimo centinaia di MB, in 10-20 minuti dovreste riuscire a scaricarla tutta. Ovviamente ciò sarebbe impraticabile con la mainnet, quindi probabilmente in futuro ci saranno server in stile electrum ai quali appoggiarsi per evitare di scaricare la blockchain
4) per creare un canale potete usare questo faucet: https://faucet.lightning.community/ . Qui sono andato un po' a caso e non so dirvi bene i passaggi, mi pare bisognasse fare "create channel" sul programma ed incollare la stringa che trovate in alto nella pagina del faucet, poi nella pagina del faucet su "target node"  incollate la vostra chiave pubblica, su "channel amount" mettete un certo importo e ne mettete uno più basso in "initial balance". Dovrete aspettare che venga minata la transazione che inizializza il canale ed a quel punto vi si visualizzerà un canale aperto sul programma, e potrete iniziare ad inviare/ricevere satoshi sul LN.

Però molte cose non mi sono ancora chiare, ad esempio non capisco se posso scambiare satoshi solo col nodo a cui sono connesso o se in automatico ogni nodo è collegato agli altri ed è quindi possibile inviare satoshi ad un indirizzo qualsiasi.
Se qualcuno fosse interessato, potremmo fare qualche transazione tra noi per testare un po' la cosa (tanto siamo sulla testnet e le transazioni non costano nulla).

I read that there are the 1m of satoshi's coins, but maybe there are also other coins mined in the early years (2009-2010-2011) and never used.
It's there some precise statistic about it?
