61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / How can disabled, impaired and improsoned people invest in ICOs? on: March 29, 2018, 10:53:41 AM
Blind, visually impaired, without hands or ability to move hands, and imprisoned people. How can they invest in ICOs?
62  Other / Off-topic / What could you recommend in this situation? on: March 26, 2018, 06:30:22 PM
Im flipping/midterm investing in ICOs. have about 100k $ in fiat.
im unemployed (health reasons/other reasons).
I have had some projects on the side (3 kickstarter, 1 indiegogo and 1 gofundme crowdfunding projects, and one ICO -all failed)
im kind of following ICO, and trading a little but i feel like i want something more going on. some sort of self-realisation. i visit crypto conferences, to get out of the house and actually see people.

what would you recommend me to do? i want self realisation, offline communication and something that i can say -look ive made it/been part of it/have some collegues/collaborators..
what i will say to my circle? im flipping ICOs?
I had an idea to make offline crypto investing courses but it looks flipping icos is easier and more profitable.

any ideas? i think every day about my situation and thats why asking, to see an out of  the box viewpoint

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What blockchain industries have had the biggest number of most profitable ICOs? on: March 15, 2018, 08:26:47 PM

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / low competition Altcoin ICO reviews niche - your opinion? on: March 15, 2018, 07:57:11 PM
Lets imagine someone wants to blog about solid ICOs.

To avoid competition what niche could be taken?

FOR example, there are a few sites that provide detailed review of a few selected ICOs. Thats competition. How to avoid fighting for their traffic?

Write in a different language?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who also misses all the high ROI (highly profitable) ICOs? on: March 15, 2018, 07:34:04 PM
I seem to miss all the most lucrative ICOs

Dont get me wrong, I have never invested in one that scammed or lost me me money but never have I seen the returns like 10x, 20x etc

I collect my 2.5x once again (solid good project with decent team,  low cap and big hype) to notice someone else laughing all the way to the bank having invested in say Ziliqa..

How do i stop missing those gravy trains, Im stuck.
70  Bitcoin / Project Development / Insuring crypto investments? on: March 15, 2018, 02:41:42 AM
Are there platforms offering insurance for ICO investments? -searched but couldnt find one.

Is it possible to build a platform that will accept such insurance payments?

More detailed:
1)ICO investor spots a solid hyped project but as crypto is risky, she wants to protect her stake and  drops some crypto into the insurance fund

2)the ICO project is succesful and issues tokens - the insurance fund gets to withhold the insurance premium and profits.
-or the ICO project busts, scams and runs away with the ££$$, then the insurance fund settles the payout to the crypto investor.

Would that work or is a terrible idea? just a thought.. Undecided
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Unpaid ICO reviews site on donations only- too good to be true? on: March 15, 2018, 02:07:09 AM

Unpaid ICO reviews site on donations only- too good to be true?  Huh

there is a site - www.cryptobriefing.com (Im not associated with it-please feel free to remove the link if it violates anything-it is fior reference use only ) the site claims they offer unpaid unbiased independent Initial Coin Offerings reviews.

The articles are pretty much quality and they have videos, etc. Trafiic is exceeding 500K visitors, mostly USA and EU.
It certainly costs money to update such a site with good articles, even if they state some articles are from volunteers.

They want people to believe they sustain on donations. Quick check-up of the donation wallets showed all the donations are not exceeding 1000USD.  Huh

They must be getting revenue from something else? maybe they benefit from having affiliate links for their recommended ICOs?   Huh

I want to be sure the reviews are unbiased thats why asking.

72  Other / Off-topic / free about e-book on unsponsored ICO reviews -only question on: March 14, 2018, 02:37:04 AM
Would you read a book on how to expertly invest in ICO?

If the book cointained links to an unbiased unsponsored expert ICO review site, would you be interested to click on them?

75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin ICOs contributors - How do you search projects? on: March 13, 2018, 06:37:49 AM
How do you search projects? bitcoin anns, ads, ico listings, reviews, etc?

What is important to you in the media you read about coin offerings?

What would an ideal medium for the search be? a one stop place of sorts.

What irritates you most when you do your research for ICOs to pick?

Thank you!
76  Other / Off-topic / Anyone from United Kingdom? a question for you only on: March 12, 2018, 02:20:41 PM
So im an expat living in UK. I have lived in England for 6 years. To this day i have been innumerous times asked a certain question-
"(you have an accent) WHERE DO YOU COME FROM?"
I wanted to ask you -why do you think people  asking this question, maybe you yourself asked it. Why?

I will tell you why im asking. Im tired of answering it. For all these years I have answered it to anyone who asks.
True, its absolutely normal and sometimes actually quite makes sense to answer it.
But, people ask sometimes even before saying hi. a hairdresser, a masseuse, person who you had a smallest of talks with,
basically almost total strangers and customer service personnel. And the reaction is 90% the same. A drawn out "aaah a .........." (my nationality) in a kind of strange tone and then creepy silence until someone will break it.

It became finally boring and i dont feel right about it. Besides, as a citizen of UK i do not want to be asked constantly where im from. I live here and they basically do not need this information. If they asked it to decipher whether they may know my language -this is not the case as not one of them ever knew it. At best they would know one word and say some corny joke. but its 10% cases. normally again 90% is that drawn eerie phrase.

Sure, first it came to the point where i began to answer automatically, robotic and uninterested, and now to the point when most of the times i will be refusing to reply. Ive been experimenting with it: replies that im from a random country didnt make me feel good though some people beieved it, replies that i am from Uk would get a reaction like "ah sure you are" and people would take me as im lying that im born here and generally cant be trusted (even people from service industry had guts to call me out on it, sadly), i tried to refuse to answer with an explanation and was called a freak.

I simply do not see the need of the majority of them to know it. I live and work here and im citizen. I do answer the question when I see it is absolutely important or when I can sense it might be necessitated by some circumstances or with deeper connection. Job collegues, somebody who i go out with, etc and some genuinely friendly people who look like they could be interested in culture, and it normally works well well, so for the right reasons to the positive cases i do reply.

So i may be missing on something because it is pretty common. Is it just polite small talk, common non mattering stuff? Do i break some unwritten code of conduct when im withholding my personal information (especially to almost total strangers)?

Is there a way to gracefully and politely decline answering such questions as psychologically it is detrimental to me. I have heard to many weird reactions ,too many same stereotypical jokes.

I am white Christian, working, not on benefits, i dont hate anyone. Though i would say i am from a country most British people have negative view on. Maybe you guessed it.

I will conclude by saying- ive seeked guidance from my fellow people how to deflect the question.
It was sort of funny although i think most of the advice wouldnt quite right pass here in UK (not one i have tried yet):
1) from planet Earth
2)from Eurasia
3)If i tell you I will have to kill you
4)wear a hammer as a pendant they will be afraid to ask
5)change topic to weather if that doesnt work then say "im not local but i have lived long here"
6)say "im from abroad" and if questioned on, wave  at random direction and say "from there"

Thanks for attention, im waiting for unbigoted friendly xenophobia free replies only thank you very much

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Lifecycle of a "shitcoin" on: March 02, 2018, 06:34:39 AM
What is a lifecycle of a shitcoin? It seems that currently there are hundreds of various coins. What is their purpose besides making devs richer? Im not talking about projects with an actual aim (like ICOs) but of coins  like "42", Superbitcoin, etc. What is their purpose??

Do all of them even have roadmaps? do they work on it or simply pump and dump their huge premine?

Take for example BitBean. they did rebranding and the price pumped again. BUT before that they published a message something along the lines of "we are dissapointed with community and abandoning the project"..

How can they abandon such projects?

Look at Project Decorum. ok that one had an actual ICO. and since May last year they made only a wallet! still the coin was up..
whats going on with all that rubbish..
