2  Economy / Gambling / 🏆⚽🏀🏈Learn How To Arbitrage and make thousands a month🏆⚽🏀🏈 on: November 26, 2023, 06:20:43 PM
Example of a profitable bet- Over $200 profit and a $3795 total bet between the 2, making it a 5%+ ROI bet.

If you had a 20k bankroll you could make $1054 in a day betting these games. Then you would have to withdrawal all the money, wait for it to deposit in your bank and then re add to the sites. (or if you're lucky, half the bets will win on each site so you don't need to reconcile on each)

If you like sports betting, try arbitraging games live. You make a small RIO per bet 3-5% but that can be hundreds if not thousands per day with good schedules. I'd recommend having a bankroll of $20k to start because you shouldn't be betting less than a few hundred per game, otherwise the profit per bet will be too small. [Must be in the US and be in a state that allows sports betting with some good options]

I personally arbitrage and have made $100k this year. Arbitraging is far from risk free, and even if you bet both sides of the game you can run into issues like the sites going bankrupt, or grading differently if the game doesn't finish. (This happens with baseball alot)

If you're interested, check out https://positivebetting.com/ where we can teach you everything you need to know about arbitraging. You can watch tutorial videos, and join live webinars where we can all hit games together live.

What are your experiences with arbitraging?

⚽🏀🏈Sportsbooks offer great sign on bonuses that you can hedge to make thousands of dollars if you're in a legal state.

If you live in the US and don't know what books are available to you, check out the table https://positivebetting.com/sports-book-availability

*No ref links or anything like that, you sign up from the official sites that you have. I live in NY, so I don't have access to a lot of sites, but was still able to make a thousand on just sign ups. Must be a new customer.

How much have you guys made?

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 13, 2023, 12:09:59 AM
The way I have always tackled anything in life especially Bitcoin is to have balanced emotions.

Lets say Bitcoin is $19,000. If it goes up 3% then do you throw a party? Then don't be upset when it drops 3%.

If Bitcoin doubles, I wouldn't throw a party especially since it was at $60k+ at one point. So if it cuts in half and goes to $9k I will treat it the same.

Not financial advice, but lots of people freak out over the price of Bitcoin or anything for that matter but don't have real logical reasons.

If it goes up 3% and you would be happy or neutral, then you can be bummed if it goes down 3% but don't sell based on that.

How do you guys emotionally balance Bitcoin?

Not financial advice, this thought could be applied anywhere.
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Klien_br $250 on: October 03, 2022, 12:44:51 PM
Sad we have to continuously do this. However we will let the community decide this as we want to work in good faith and offer arbitration for disputes. If you think we should refund $250 then please comment, you must have a Bitcointalk account that is somewhat active and obviously not a new account/scammer. If you don't believe we should refund then you can post as well. 10/5/22 at 8PM PDT the poll will end. If the client can create a write up on his thoughts and post below, we can post it in the main post for fair reporting. (The client is sent this link)

The poll is whether we should give a refund or not. We will not release any code as we don't believe this is legit.

In your post please include the following to have your vote counted. 1 per member.

You should give a full refund.

You should not give a refund.

Link to the Client in question: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=977526

Here is the outline of the clients website

Client has fixed interest rates which we thought was a placeholder, but in fact he is trying to advertise guaranteed rates. Essentially you sign up to the site and pay a fee to become a member. When you sign up and become a member, you can earn interest. The membership fee you pay goes to the interest yield. You make more money when you refer people to the platform. That is it, no other benefits are listed which became a redflag to us.

Klien_br contact us for some smart contract and design development. As part of our invoice, the client got our terms which state we don't work with scams and offer no refunds in the event the product/service/company is scamming or is fraudulent.

Here is the bottom of the invoice the client received and didn't have any objections to.

We do our best to vet every company we work with prior to starting any development, but when you're getting a bunch of request for jobs sometimes projects can fall through the cracks. With this project, we asked Klien_br to provide some documentation on the interest rates his company was offering. We wanted to know where the interest yield was coming from, and the client explained that it came from referring others to the site, in which they would pay a fee and that fee would be used to generate yield. This is obviously a red flag, and so we asked for more documentation on this. The client didn't have any.

We started the development on the $250 development which was already very fair, then upon realizing the project could be a scam we stopped development and asked the client for documentation so we could feel better about releasing any code. Whether a project has a good business plan or not, is not the argument. It's whether the project posses a legitimate risk to the community as being a scam. We don't want to facilitate that, and already started the development and used wages to code. Will leave it up to the community to decide.

We asked that the client send us more information on their interest rates.

We ask again for more documentation as the client has never sent any. He doesn't have any documentation for a project he is trying to start.

Multiple days later the client still wouldn't supply any information over the project.

When the client couldn't think of anything else. He states that the reason for the lack of documentation is because he wants an NDA signed. We accepted and the client still wouldn't send anything.

Client agrees to let the community decide

Below is the client argument

He is the next post so I won't add it here.

16  Economy / Service Discussion / Forrest Visions Refund Policy PSA on: January 29, 2021, 02:07:08 PM
*This isn't an official announcement from the company.

However something official will be coming out today or tomorrow on the blog. So I will explain the gist of it below. Basically just want to inform people about the business process, because we had a rare case a week ago where someone is trying to break the rules.

#1 We aren't dealing with anon BS. If you work with us, we have the right to verify personal information.

We need the information to accurately account for payments etc so it's standard procedure. (via accounting practices, we can't refund to a random address. We need to explain what it was for in the journal entry) However, since we're in crypto, we also want to ensure that if your project turns into a scam, we're covered.

Example: We're a full-service consulting company, so if we help write content for your company, and then all of a sudden you do something shady, we have information to protect ourselves.

*We don't deal with ICO's and are very selective when it comes to software projects. We do a company review before working with you anyway. So if something looks sketchy, we don't work with you.

#2 In the event we need to refund a payment. (About ~1% of work) We will verify the information. Again, since we're in crypto, we aren't just going to send money via a wallet address that could have been sent by someone who had access to your email. So we require verification to ensure that it's the original client who sent in the request. Again, standard procedure. We do this to protect our clients; it's not meant to be a hassle.

We accept fiat from US clients, so in the event, you paid via fiat, we will process the refund right away via the same payment method. With crypto, it's different because we need to verify the address.

#3 We have the right to ask for verification at any time. We don't release your information to the public; it's for our records and safety. We don't deal with anon's, so if you don't want to verify information as you would with any company, then don't deal with us.

*All of this info is given to clients.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Coinbase IPO isn't good for Bitcoin investors and here is why🧐 on: January 25, 2021, 07:45:41 PM
Before you have a heart attack, the Coinbase IPO will be good for the industry because it will open more people up to cryptocurrency. However, for the woke cryptocurrency investors, the IPO is a bad investment.

Read my 2-minute article for the full story: https://forrestvisions.com/blog/coinbase-ipo-is-a-bad-investment-for-crypto-lovers/

Two things can happen in the long term:

Decentralized currencies end up dying and go down the toilet.
Well then, Coinbase will be hit hard, and you will lose money via the stock price plunging.

or

Decentralized currencies succeed and continue their uptrend.

Coinbase’s stock price goes up since they are making more profit via the exchange transaction costs. Decentralized currencies also increase, and you’re left with fiat cash that, in return, could buy less of the crypto that you believe in.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Comic Cryptic Kid on: January 21, 2021, 08:22:31 PM

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Grayscale gets $700M in funding on: January 20, 2021, 05:13:43 PM
Full story: https://forrestvisions.com/blog/difference-between-gbtc-and-btc/

As Grayscale got $700m in funding recently I just wanted to share some details about GBTC that many people might not understand. You can read the full article above, but here are the main takeaways:

  • When buying shares of GBTC, you’re paying a premium, which is calculated by the value difference of the holdings versus the holdings’ market price. This calculation can be referred to as the Native Asset Value or NAV.
  • Grayscale has two investment types: buying shares directly on the open market, and the other is supplying BTC into the fund, and receiving shares. To invest Bitcoin in the fund, you must be accredited.
  • Investors can purchase shares through their traditional investment brokerage accounts and may get tax advantages.
  • If Bitcoin goes up, you’ll make more money if you buy the premium at a low. If Bitcoin drops, you will have a more significant loss than merely holding the asset directly.

Have any of you purchased GBTC instead of BTC? If so, why?

20  Economy / Services / Comic Strip creator on: January 15, 2021, 02:08:30 AM
I'm looking for someone who can draw comic strips for me. I will create all of the content, but you will help bring it to life.

I'm looking for someone to design a comic book original character for me as well. So I will be looking for someone with good graphic design skills along with good sketching skills.

PM or post below. Give me contact info along with pricing/previous projects
