You have to do the following things to get more merit:
1. Be theymos and post the announcement about the Merit thingy;
2. Post infographics about Merit, although a dozens have been posted already;
3. Start a new Topic and ask/complain about how to get Merit or why nobody gives merit;
(the three above have the best result)
4. Be a Bounty Campaign Manager;
5. Post helpful stuffs on the forum;

So, my question is, what is it gonna happen when all the Bitcoins saved for mining will be rewarded to the miners ( in 120 years if I am not mistaken). Who's gonna bother mining if there is no reward?

I want to join the most promising project that still has a Signature Campaign still going and accepts new entries. I does't matter if it goes for 1-2 weeks. I just want to join. Very important, it must accept Jr. Members. Any suggestions?
