4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Verifying address problems on: October 23, 2013, 01:25:11 AM
Most exchanges require a verification in order to deposit or withdraw outside currency like USD

    Valid government-issued ID or passport
    Address
    Proof of address

The only problem I face is that I am a young student and don't own my own place. So I don't have any of the utility bills in my name to verify my address.

Is there anyone else who had the same problem? Did you solve it?

Or an I trapped with only unverified account privileges until i get my own place?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / how to use paper wallet? on: July 15, 2013, 07:51:46 PM
ive seen these sites where you can generate a paper wallet i have a digitalcoin paper wallet in my recents so this will do for example http://digitalcoin.co/paperwallet.html

(please find me a bitcoin paper wallet generator)

So I have no idea use it but here are my guesses.
1 It generates a address and you send coins so that address. (y/n?)
2 it generates a privkey. where to i import this private key? the debug console window (y/n?)

so maybe i understand it a little i just want another persons confirmation to make sure i do it right before i risk my coins

thanks!

7  Other / Off-topic / Crysis 3 problems on: June 16, 2013, 10:07:05 PM
TOTALLY OFF TOPIC

probably doesnt belong in this forum at all, but the community is full of gamers and game codes .etc

i redeemed one of those neversettle codes that come with AMD GPU's

Then i downloaded Origin so i could download Crysis 3

After I downloaded Crysis 3 i went to run it then it would start up a black window, then close. then says "crysis 3 has stopped working "check online for solution or close program

So i was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem or if there were any setting i could change to fix it. Thanks!

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Saphhire 7950 Vapor x OC settings on: June 06, 2013, 12:28:15 AM
so i have 2 7950's stock getting around 900 k hash on scrypt and i havent messed with the over clock setting on at all and was wondering what experiences youve had (if you have the same card) what works best for you

also what should i mess around with in the bios to minimize power of components a mining rig wont use

thanks!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / help running CG miner on: June 05, 2013, 07:36:43 PM
so i dont know how to run cg miner. im trying to run a .bast file to run cgminer but it just closes immediately. my .bat looks like this ==  cgminer.exe --scrypt  --o http://www.frankopool.com:8080/ --user b --pass --threads 4 -i 10 ==

what im asking for is you can copy and paste me your working .bat file (without user/pass info) just so i can tweak it and get it running at least. im running 2 sapphire 7950 vapor x's if that helps at all

or if youre using another way to run cgminer please teach me and give me examples too, cause ima noob

thanks guys!!

13  Other / Off-topic / Coinbomb my thoughts on: May 22, 2013, 10:34:48 PM
hey guys,

So ive tried a couple of these online gambling games for crytpocurrencies.

you know like satoshi circle, bitpotato, litecoin kamakazi, but the one i am constantly winning in is coin bomb

its kind of like bitpotato, a ponzi scheme where someone is left holding bag and loses their money, but its fun. Im going to list reasons why i think its better than bitpotato. First

they have btc and ltc, not that anyone wants to wait for bitcoin confirmations but hey if someone wants they have that option. Next i think its more fair than bitpotato. On

bitpotato you just left clicking for minutes or at least thats what i was doing when i really wanted a potato and could never grab one.On coinbomb everyone has a better chance.

bitpotato also has higher multiplier but they are risky. Ive seen god potato only have 3 passes and end... on me. Another coinbomb has higher time limits 24 hours each, even

their special bombs that come once and a while have the same limit. Now the only bad thing about coinbomb is that the rounds also end shortly and thus the payment isnt very

much, i just did a bomb for .0275 ltc minus the transaction fee. but hey that would take time so make trading. but i still make about 2-3 LTC a day. well today i make a

little over three and thats a decent amount for one to be mining a day while to big power bill.

idk thats just my two cents on coin bomb, im not anyway affiliated with them just a fan that enjoys the game, although if they see this post and like it they can hit up that ltc tip jar  |    just trying get more people to see the site because i make more money when more people play  Wink  thats it enjoy and play smart guys.. or buying my bomb is good too  Tongue                                                                     v

Also i have an offer for some strategy for 5LTC i think its a really good technique im very close to

grabbing every bomb i set my eyes on so far. but i really dont want too many people 2 learn this  Roll Eyes
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Build me a LTC rig on: May 22, 2013, 04:42:34 AM
I want to get into LTC mining or some other scrypt alt crypto mining so i was thinking id ask bitcointalk's community what they are using and what they believe to be the best

products for a nice scrypt rig. I was thinking of starting with 2-4 cards probably a 7950. But also would like recommendations on brands, as well as other hardware like good

motherboards, processors , power supply, and anything that's a necessity. price really isnt an issue im just trying to get a high hash and still a reasonable power appetite.

It would also help if you provided links too since you guys can find the best deal! Okay thanks! Cheesy BTCBTC
