1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / cryptonightHeavy whattomine vs coincalculators why different gains? on: September 06, 2018, 02:32:57 PM
Hi

I'm looking at coin mining with gpus (580,570) on the two calculators and on whattomine they put ryo and loki (cryptonightheavy) ahead.

In coincalculators are ahead in benefits eth and a few more coins.

What calculator do you advise me?

Apologies for my bad english.

Regards!

Hi

If I connect a gpu to a cable pcie of a psu and the riser with a cable of a different psu, can it be a problem?

Apologies for my bad command of english.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / sapphire nitro rx 580 4GB PCIE 8 pins only possible to use with overclocking? on: December 06, 2017, 05:34:37 AM
Hi

I have a rig with 3 sapphire nitro rx 580, I have ordered three more, so far I have always used the two pcie connectors of 8 and 6 pins.

When I expand the rig to 6 gpus I am missing 6-pin cables I have searched for information and it seems that only the 8-pin cable can be used

But I also read that if you overclock the gpus you need more power

If I overclock the gpus, in this case it is necessary to use the two cables (8 and 6 pins) or is it enough using only the 8-pin cable?

excuse my bad english.

Regards
