26  Other / Politics & Society / Bank run on: February 06, 2014, 11:17:55 AM
I apologize if this has been posted already. I just came across this info, and it might be of value to some.

It appears Chase Bank has rolled out a new policy which is restricting businesses from wire transferring large amounts of money out of the USA,possibly as an early attempt to thwart a coming run on the bank.

http://www.infowars.com/chase-bank-limits-cash-withdrawals-bans-international-wire-transfers/

Additionally, since it is "Bank run" related, I thought I would post this video from the past of Rothbard giving a speech years ago. (A very wise and entertaining man).

29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Looking for Japanese partners right now. Lets make money. on: October 14, 2013, 12:28:22 PM
My name is Dan and I am the owner of www.Bitcoin-Brokers.org. Here is a 20,000 view thread so you can see that I already have hundreds of clients who have worked with me over the last several months:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237164.0

I am looking for Japanese partners (people living in Japan, not necessarily of Japan descent) who want to make some money with the arbitrage opportunity which exists with MtGox and the other exchanges.

Here is a rough idea of how we can do it:

I am a Canadian. I can purchase the bitcoin from CAVirtex which is the cheapest exchange. It is usually cheaper than BTC-e, Bitstamp, and Coinbase. You need to be a Canadian to gain access to this market.

I transfer the bitcoin to you, and you sell it on MtGox immediately.

Once MtGox sends you the money for the sold bitcoin, you wire transfer the funds back to me and we repeat the process.

To qualify for this, you must speak English, must have at least $5,000 to work with, and hold an account at a Japanese bank, as well as an account at MtGox.

I know there are wire transfer fees, and currency exchange fees, but there is enough profit that we can make this work.

PM me if you want to start making money.
30  Economy / Service Discussion / MtGox wire transfer times for Europeans on: October 13, 2013, 04:50:53 PM
I know the US wires are essentially nonexistent at the moment. I have used the search box, so please forgive me for asking a question which I know has been asked repeatedly, but........

How long are withdrawals currently taking for residents of Europe?

Additionally, what are the costs associated with receiving a withdrawal from MtGox for Europeans? I am assuming it is a SEPA transfer, yet, since I have never used a SEPA, I dont know the costs.

It is the same sort of costs as an International wire (around $50)?

Thanks in advance.
31  Economy / Services / BitRemit-No more waiting for MtGox or any exchange to send you your money. on: September 29, 2013, 12:10:06 PM
Starting on Monday Sept 30, a new bitcoin service will commence.

The service will be called BitRemit, and it will be brought to the bitcoin community through Bitcoin-Brokers.

The service will allow bitcoin holders the ability to immediately liquidate their bitcoin holdings, and have any amount converted into a cash deposit into their bank account the same day.

This service has been designed initially to assist the bitcoin community in withdrawing their capital from any of the bitcoin exchanges such as MtGox, BitStamp, or BTC-e.

Instead of having to wait for a wire transfer from any of these exchanges, people can simply transfer the bitcoin to Bitcoin-Brokers, and a representative of Bitcoin-Brokers will physically walk down to any bank of your choice and make a cash deposit into your bank account to give you immediate access to cash for your bitcoin.

Initially this service will only offer deposits to be made into banks within the USA.

Even though this service was initially created to assist people in withdrawing capital from exchanges, the service can be used by anybody who wishes to sell their bitcoin for an immediate cash deposit into a USA bank account.

This holds the potential to service an additional market, and that is the remittance market.

For example, a British resident, or Indian resident, or resident from any country in the world could use this service as a way of sending a payment to anybody, or any company with a bank account in the USA.

We will accept any amount ranging from $500-$8,500.

How we do it: Bitcoin-Brokers and/or its representatives hold accounts at Bitstamp, BTC-e and other exchanges and can sell off the bitcoin at those market rates. Once the bitcoin has been sold off at one of those markets, we deduct a 7% service charge for walking down to your bank and depositing cash the same day.

For more information about the service, or to begin a BitRemit payment into a bank account, please contact Dan by submitting a ticket through our helpdesk by following this link:

32  Local / Español (Spanish) / Comprar bitcoin con Bolívar Fuerte on: September 28, 2013, 09:00:37 PM
Mi nombre es Dan y yo soy el dueño de www.Bitcoin-Brokers.org
