1  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-09-02]| Want a free market? Abolish cash. on: September 02, 2016, 12:05:30 PM

Written by the Fed Chairman in St Loius who authored the seminal "Money is Memory" paper scribbled this editorial article in Bloomberg view.

With central banksters like this, it validates the need for Bitcoin.  When they squeeze freedoms by pretending to do the opposite, it only makes our case for adopting Bitcoin stronger.
2  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-13] - Bodog Makes Bitcoin it's Fiat Currency. on: May 13, 2016, 10:37:19 PM
"We wanted to inform you in advance that, effective June 1, 2016, we will be moving all Betting Partners affiliate payments over to Bitcoin. Bitcoin will be the only payment method available moving forward, no other payment methods will be supported as of June 1st 2016 - Including Player Account Transfer. "

Although this payment method may be new to you, rest assured, it's very easy to use and we ask that you start getting to know the product so that May's commissions are paid in full by June 10, 2016. As we approach the cut-off date, you'll receive all the relevant information, including visual step-by-steps instructions and a video tutorial.

Here are some of the advantages of using Bitcoin:

It's really easy to use:
– Visit Blockchain Info and click on the 'Wallet' tab at the top of the page to set up your first wallet address - this takes only a few minutes and you can generate new wallet addresses as required at the click of a button.
– Next, you will be able to transfer your earnings from to any number of different Bitcoin Exchange services such as Kraken to exchange your Bitcoin into Fiat Currency, or you can also hold your Bitcoin in your wallet and spend it at your convenience.
– We strongly suggest that you do not transfer your earnings directly to an exchange service but, first, to a Bitcoin wallet ( Then you can move your earnings from your wallet to your exchange service as you see fit.

Ease is not the only advantage to using Bitcoin:
– Receive your commission payments after they have been processed in under an hour.
– No restrictions on the amount you can receive. We can process up to $40,000 per Bitcoin Address. If your earnings are above $40,000, you will be required to provide multiple addresses. However, they will all be processed at the same time, which means no delay in receiving your entire payment.
– No fees to receive Bitcoin payments to your wallets.
– No personal information required to receive payments.
– No risk of payments being delayed by third parties.
– The minimum payment threshold will be lowered to only $10 USD, which is great news for partners who do not hit the current minimum payment thresholds.
– Bitcoin wallet security is our top priority. Affiliates will be required to provide new Bitcoin addresses each month in order to receive their payment. For your protection and ours, we will not be able to process multiple payments to the same Bitcoin address. This process is very easy and a new address can be generated within seconds from any Bitcoin wallet.

If your monthly earnings are significantly larger, we strongly suggest looking into Bitcoin Armory. They provide a secure, offline storage solution for holding Bitcoin. Use this to hold the majority of your Bitcoin balance offline, while using other online or mobile wallet applications for regular day to day spending. They also offer Tutorials should you need to use their services..

We've created a special email address for all Bitcoin-related inquiries. If you have any other questions at this time, please let us know at

*Please note that this isn't the last of our correspondences regarding using Bitcoin so if you have any further questions, our next email might provide the answers you seek.

For all inquiries that aren't related to your affiliate payments or Bitcoin, please continue to use

Best Regards,

The Betting Partners Team
3  Bitcoin / Legal / Liberty Dollar Sentencing scheduled on: November 11, 2014, 06:29:08 PM

This is a travesty of justice and is a bad ruling for Bitcoin in USA

Within the judges ruling:

"Congress has been permitted “to create a money monopoly, with full powers to outlaw any and all competing
currencies . . . .”

" and if anyone, individual or State, assumes to supplant the medium of exchange adopted by our Government,
or assumes to compete with the United States Government in this regard, a violation of these statutes would follow"

The sentencing hearing will be on December 2nd.
This is the first political prisoner for alternative currency in the USA with not even any allegation of money laundering or any of the more esoteric legal arguments used, merely challenging the authority of the Fed in the issuing of an alternative currency to the US Dollar.

Edit:  I'm sure Bernard would appreciate any support from us.  I just spoke with him on the phone.  It is not a good time.
It also further underscores the wisdom of Satoshi in remaining anonymous.

"Remember Remember the 5th of November
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot."

On the 4th of November, the US votes.
What happens on the 5th?
5  Bitcoin / Legal / Is Defending Satoshi Nakamoto Offensive? on: October 13, 2014, 08:37:39 PM
This is a bit of a proxy for an anti-doxxing Satoshi Nakamoto legal fund.
In truth, it is more an attack fund.

By making it expensive for "News" organizations to chase, and attempt to exploit, the Satoshi Nakamoto identity, ought they be induced to act more responsibly?

This is striking in self defense.  It is an attack on a predator's claw, to disable it after it draws blood.

In between hardware maintenance and dealing with electrical issues, we sometimes get some time for fun.

While goofing off, a couple of us put this together.
Its very rough, but figured some of you might get a kick out of it too so decided to share it.

If anyone likes it, we can head over to the studio and do a decent recording next week.

9  Bitcoin / Press / [2013-12-09] Bloomberg -Twelve Days of Bitcoin: How Hard Is it to Buy One? on: December 09, 2013, 01:41:07 PM
Betty Liu is mostly distrustful of Bitcoin and generally talks it down, but some of those on her show are much more positive and curious.  As a result there was short discussion of Bitcoin:

Matt Miller is going to buy a bitcoin via and do the transaction on TV as part of the show, and then do something with it every day for 12 days.  He tried Coinbase and was daunted.  None of the people on the show have much understanding of bitcoin and there is quite a bit of misinformation, but this is one of the most widely viewed financial news in the USA.

If you are in New York and looking for some exposure, you can probably sell something to Matt Miller over the next few weeks.
10  Bitcoin / Press / [2013-12-04] -Bloomberg - Greenspan says bitcoin a Bubble on: December 05, 2013, 01:35:48 AM

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said Bitcoin prices are unsustainably high after surging 89-fold in a year and that the virtual money isn’t currency.
“It’s a bubble,” Greenspan, 87, said today in a Bloomberg Television interview from Washington. “It has to have intrinsic value. You have to really stretch your imagination to infer what the intrinsic value of Bitcoin is. I haven’t been able to do it. Maybe somebody else can.”

The man who was the most wrong about everything in economics with the possible exception of every other Fed chief says Bitcoin is a bubble and has no intrinsic value.
We must be on to something here.

Please accept my apology for the English.

As you may or may not know, we make the Bitcoin Specie pieces.  These are the pocket change of Bitcoin.

We have incorporated some Chinese into our designs and are looking to do more of this.

Here is an opportunity for you, if you have a talent for calligraphy and would like your work immortalized in precious metals.
We are looking to improve our work with some hand drawn (and ultimately sculpted) calligraphy.

If you would like to participate in this, please feel welcome to post images of your work.

Specifically the two already in use, and a new one for "Spirit of Satoshi"

We look for simplicity, artistic expression, and meaning.
