1  Other / Beginners & Help / -Double Trouble- Daily will start at 21:00 Pacific Time!! 1 hour till start! on: June 27, 2011, 03:12:43 AM
You standard Double Trouble game. Send in your entry/entries and get double the money back! I've played many double trouble games and it's time I hosted one of my own.

Here are the rules:
-2% Fee taken from payouts so the pot will not slowly get drained
-0.5-5 Bitcoin limit, all entries sent outside of this range will not count!
-Game will start 21:00 Pacific Time. If you're not in the USA use this link to check time.  http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific/d/-8/java
-Game will end June 27 20:00, 23 hours long and I will start another 1 hour after that.
-When game ends 50% of leftover pot will go to remaining players and 50% goes to me.
-First hour will not reveal entry amounts to spice things up.
-I will post screen shot of my client when the entries come in for proof of order entries.

Spreadsheet link: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhP6A3rUKPGtdGRLejdrYVFNakV3cG5mQXRSVzJpMlE&hl=en_US

Edited:
Stay tuned, will begin in a bit under 1 hours!

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Since Mt.Gox failed anyone going to TradeHill with me? on: June 20, 2011, 01:16:24 AM
Since Mt.gox failed anyone going to TradeHill?

I'll be honest I started this thread to get the referrals since I just signged up at TradeHill due to Mt. Gox's failure on a security breach that was reported for a while and they just kept lying about it until they couldn't no more. No more business with them for me. I already started up a dwolla account which was how I moved money in and out of Mt. Gox, since TradeHill also excepts Dwolla the change is no big deal for me.

If anyone is doing or planning to do the same, help me out and use the referral code if you were going to migrate over there anyway. Thanks guys  Roll Eyes

7  Bitcoin / Mining / Opinion on this PSU please on: June 04, 2011, 08:05:15 PM
Planning to build another rig in the near future and I'll probably run 3-5830's + 5870.
Everything else will be minimal except psu. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152044
Seems like this is the cheapest 80 gold 1000w. Opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
8  Bitcoin / Mining / Mining with GPU but CPU under high loads? on: June 01, 2011, 01:14:55 PM
I'm mining with 3 5870's on win 7 on a quadcore and the average load on all 4 cores is 70-80% most of the time and goes beyond that alot of times depending on what I'm doing on the computer. Anyone have experience with this and how to relieve the cpu from cranking like this all the time?
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Can a 850PSU cut it for 3 5870's? on: May 24, 2011, 11:16:47 PM
Currently running 1 5870 in my computer, plan to slap in 2 more and upgrading psu instead of building a rig until I decide if I would like to build another dedicated rig. Was wondering if people have done it and ran stable powering 3 5870's with 850 watt psu.
10  Bitcoin / Mining / Help me pick out a mother board on: May 23, 2011, 04:26:55 AM
Need some help picking out a cheap mother board that will take 3 5870s or 2 6990's and a 5870.
Trying to go the most economical route. Seen alot of recommendations for the MSI 890FX-GD70 but I would like to pay less than that if possible for the amount of cards I'd like to run.
Thanks all and I love the helpful community here.
11  Bitcoin / Mining / Slush's Pool acting funny? on: May 22, 2011, 11:04:18 AM
Let me start off with saying I am in no shape or form bashing Slush's pool. I just noticed I got disconnected from it on and off for about an hour. Sometimes it would say server maintence and other times it would give me the usual disconnected message. Anyone up late and mines in Slush's pool see anything weird?
