And 500 Mil tokens already transfer out of their smart contract address. And after research I found 300 mil already dumped in Idex, 200 mil remain frozen lol thank god for this. IDEX delisted cmct completely and the team said Craig fucked them and go away with scammed money.

Well there are few reasons which needs to be analysed
1 Holiday season - As discussed earlier people have taken out their profits and in most part of the world trading volume is low on account of holiday season.
2 US Taxation There is a v high likelyhood that some new taxation laws/structure will be implemented on gains made from bitcoin and other crypto assets.This can also set precidence for other countries and some is being closely watched by big institutional investors.
3 Fear factor/Fud New money generally wait on the sidelines till there is a confirmed trend and most of the time this is the one which supports constant bullish growth. Since their are lot many rumours surrounding BTC and there has been a good correction in last few days these people will only buy their first Bitcoin when the train have already left the station (read 16500/17400$)
4 Your greed needs a break- Common what do you expect ?
Bitcoin have seen a tremendous growth in last one year. You might have been late to the party but initial breed of early investors were waiting to take out some money to buy the lambo they always talked!

I has some newbie crypto friend keep asking me about this so I try to explain and repost it here.

Here's one example. 

To start, 1 Bitcoin = $10,000
In this scenario Bitcoin starts at $10,000 and then rises to $15,000, a 50% gain.

Both people start with the same value. USD guy starts with $10,000.  BTC guy starts with 1 Bitcoin.

USD guy starts with $10,000, trades ALT/usd pairs, and makes a 50% profit.  He now has $15,000.  He's happy and thinks he did well.  But, he can still only buy one bitcoin because it also gained 50% to $15,000.  He now has $15K or 1 bitcoin.

BTC guy starts with 1 bitcoin.  He trades ALT/BTC pairs, and makes the same 50% profit.  He now has 1.5 Bitcoin, which is now worth $22,500 USD.  He now has 1.5 Bitcoin or $22,500 USD.

Both traded well and made 50% profit, but the BTC guy has $7,500USD/.5 BTC  more than USD guy.

This is the first wave of the masses guys.  It's pulling people out of the woodwork for sure.  2018 might easily see 40-50k/BTC.  I have a hard time even saying that b/c it seems nuts to me, having been in this so long, but it's really looking like it's going to be the case and it's really not showing any chance of slowing down.  At this point, you're not going to be able to short this, there is way more fiat than there is crypto right now, and you'll be margin called so fast.  It'd be a horrible idea.

I sent money to MtGox (wire transfer) in USD about 3 weeks ago, and for 2 weeks they couldn't find my deposits. After my bank performed a trace, they found both transfers had for some reason been converted form USD to JPY ... no problem.

I spoke to MtGox on July 1st 4:18pm (Australian Time), they found my deposits and said it will be in my MtGox account in one day. It is now a FULL WEEK and they still have not put the money into my MtGox account.

They are also saying this is affecting other clients ... is anyone else affected?

I decided I'd better add some better security to my Mt.Gox account, so for the last few days I've tried to add a Yubikey.

But, it goes to this page which has 503 error, which has been like that for days now:

Let's assume, a new Exchange was being setup to work WITH governments, anti-money laundering laws and everything.

Some questions:

1. Would govt's (like the US), still want to shut it down because of opposition to bitcoin?
2. If they did want to shut it down, how would they do it if the exchange was actually LEGAL?
3. Assuming the govts of the world 'would' be happy to work with an exchange, how would an exchange actually go about being 'legal', and be able to accept ALL currencies with no issues from all the worlds govts? Is it even possible?

Just thinking out loud and interested to hear ideas/thoughs.
