Hello,
I have a modular PSU with a burned out PCI-E plug that I want to use for a desktop computer. I'm having second thoughts on using it. I know it still works because the fan and lighting (colors) still works. The only burned part is the PCI-E plug, the rest of the plugs are visually fine. I won't be needing the PCI-E plug since I won't add a GPU on the desktop computer, I will be using the internal GPU. Does using this will cause damage to the motherboard or can I safely use it without problem?
Thank you!

Hello,
I have a big problem with the Avalon 741, one of the 6 pin molex port got burned, this is due to the PSU, I would like to run the other hashboard but the Avalon keeps on restarting and there is no GHz on the monitor. I have a 750w PSU that i used and an 850w PSU but has the same problem. I know the PSU is not the problem because I can see the 2 green/yellow lights on the hashboard side.
Here is whats happenning, the Avalon led is red, the 2 hashboard lights are green/yellow, the ACU starts with red, then it will turn blue, then it will turn green then back to red. while changing colors, you can hear the fan starts revving up, then after a few seconds the fan will die down. it will do it all again if you leave it running, i checked the monitor and it will stay a 0 GHz.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

Hello,
My Avalon 741's 6 pin port got burned by the PSU, luckily its just one 6pin port,
I was running the Avalon 741 on 2 PSUs before and was wondering if i could run the Avalon 741 on one side??
I tested this with a new 750w PSU, but somehow it does not work. I like to know if this is possible or do I need a bigger PSU just for the one side?
I'm hoping to make this work because I still don't now how to fix this port issue
Thank you!

Hello,
What would be the best position for the gpu card?
Vertical The gpu is positioned vertically/slight angle, and the exhaust is on top
Horizontal The gpu is positioned horizontal, and the exhaust is at the back
and is there any difference at all in the temperature?
Thank you!

Hello,
I like to ask how many riser can you safely add per VGA port in the PSU? i would like to put all riser connection to the first PSU but there is not enough vga 6 pins to go, I would be using 6 pin adapters to daisy chain multiple risers in one VGA port, not sure if this is safe or not.
Thank you!

Hello,
I have this AUXPWR on the motherboard (AUXPWR1/AUXPWR2), the manual says that you need to connect a molex from the PSU, the problem is my PSU only have a single molex cable, and the location of the AUXPWR are far apart from a single molex cable to be power both.
Do you need to power the AUXPWR on the motherboard, or is it optional?

Hello,
I was able to witness an Avalon 741 from a friend and the sound when the fan is running at 80% is very loud, when it starts up to 50%, the sound is not that bad, is there any way to set the fan to 50%?
Thanks

Hello,
I'm planning on getting an Avalon 741 and 2 psu 650w to power the device.
I will buy 2 x Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 650W.
How will i connect these into Avalon 741?
I've seen the diagram and I need to put 1 psu on 1 side and 1 psu on the other side.
Do I need to daisy chain this similar to the GPU mining rigs by adding Add2PSU?
or can I connect the 2 psu together using Add2PSU so i only need 1 outlet?
Thank you for the help
